Meanwhile, I'm not his member nor do I know him. But he spoke so intelligently yet he said he's not really replying Daddy Freeze. So I guess if he were to reply reply D. Freeze, he would have quoted lots of scriptures you might not even bother reading despite your desire.

I believe D. Freeze is a trained journalist for him to qualify as OAP and certainly a Pastor should have no business toying with his field or making a mockery of it even if the law isn't exactly against such. Same way, D. Freeze didn't do well by dabbling into what he is not known to do on a daily basis even if he has an idea.

He could even boast of leading a revolt because of the leniency of Christianity, which can never be tried with Islam. If he believe strongly that Christians shouldn't pay tithe as he as portrayed all along, decorum demands that he use his position as OAP to conduct private interviews/debate with Christian leaders, fully conscious of the fact that he's delving into some people's faith. And not all take their faith lightly. Some hallows it so much despite not being a pastor.

As per the subject of tithing, we Christians worship God using various medium. Tithing is one of them. (Malachi 3:10) It's a sacred act. It's different from alms giving to the poor. While Pastors are those to receive it on God's behalf, we don't need to bother on how they dispense it. Let's allow God to be the judge of that while we get fulfilled within us that we've fulfilled one of our acts of worship. Daniel's friends said even if God will not save them, they would not do otherwise (bow to any image). Same attitude we should have concerning our tithes but God is always faithful to reward our finances or equivalents.

So we are not really the sheep of any pastor but of Jesus, the Lord Himself.

The previous op wrote his opinion which he is entitled to and he did that without abusing anybody. You have written your own opinion which you are entitled to but you did yours with HATE. Any non convert reading both views would have no choice but to see the HATE in your write-up. You might be pained about what the previous op has written but remember on the last day, everyone even the Pastor Chris PhD you are writing about would stand on his own to be judged. Why not you guys focus on being upright with God instead of being entangled with what is and what is not. Jesus came to save us, He wasn't deeper life, He wasn't Anglican, He wasn't cele, He wasn't Christ embassy, He wasn't Catholic, He wasn't living faith, He wasn't redeemed, He wasn't Synagogue neither was He Omega. He was Himself. Let us forgo all these things and be like Paul who was able to say BOLDLY when he had finished the good fight that there is a crown laid for him in heaven. See, this is a psychological/political war, and it is not even on Magu or even about him. And this war can not be handled legally, so forget about the law for now. Though legal options, up to the highest court in the land could be used to buy some time.

This war is strictly between Osibanjo and Saraki, as to who wield more influence for the presidency, since Buhari is presently incapacitated.
Magu is just a pawn in this political chess game towards 2019 and Saraki is using proxies (Dino and co) to garner support from both chambers and the masses.

Osibanjo is also smart by speaking up and using a known enemy (El-Rufai) as his proxy on this matter rather than saying it in person. This will reset Saraki's move and get him to re-plan and make another move. And I can assure you that he will meet his match in Osibanjo.

In case you still think Osibanjo is a dump fellow, find out who he was to Tinubu, who is acclaimed to be politically intelligent and why Tinubu would nominate an Osibanjo for VP in his stead. I can assure you, it is not because Osibanjo is a pastor.

Saraki is not afraid of Buhari, Magu or EFCC; Osibanjo is his greatest nightmare. And if the war ever becomes dirty, definitely Tinubu will help Osibanjo do the dirty fight either through proxies (SR and co) or directly, especially as 2019 draws near so that Osibanjo can remain clean (presidential).

If the cabal truly had a meeting with Saraki, it could be just a decoy to get him occupied and not interfere nor distract their real agenda.

I'm not surprised at all... The closer you are to any Nigerian church alter, the more of the Pastors' messes you see. Most Nigerian Pastors are in the business for one worldly thing or the other. That's why the second coming of Christ is hardly preached on any RCCG alter (I know more about RCCG because I'm a minister there). They are all getting their rewards here on earth and they will do anything to continue... Tithes and offerings matter to them more than salvation. I say authoritatively that whenever an RCCG church organises any special Anointing/Praise/Deliverance service, the sole target is the offering. Anyone who is close to any Pastor can bear witness with me on this.

The worst is that you called out a church that is blessing millions of lives globally, you claim to be a member and even a minister; if that is to be believed at all.
