bosco9:Tokumbo manual eod compressor is N55k in ladipo today |
DGreatACO:If you’re buying it as a tokumbo then you’d better use any good brand of 5w30 weight oils |
femarse:You should have cleared the codes first before scanning again. I believe most of the codes you have are stored ones and not current P1298: electric load detector circuit high voltage (fusebox wahala) P1382: cylinder position sensor intermittent interruption (check crankshaft sensors) P1456: evaporative emissions control system leakage (fuel tank leakage) P1486: cooling system malfunction (check ect sensor) P1607: engine control module or powertrain control module malfunction (brainbox wahala) As i said try to remove your battery head overnight then drive it to have the technician scan it again and revert back so we can know the current fault codes |
This is just a regular limp mode error and there are over 100 things that could cause it on a bmw |

Op your iacv is not working well. You should check and change it plus scan the car for codes |
are you still driving it with the jezco oil inside ? If i were you I’d just buy another gearbox and then use that original fluid in your picture to lubricate it If you know you can still manage it with the symptoms it’s giving you then change the fluid and see what happens After you scanned the car the technician should have told you the codes for why your car check engine light is on |
i hear say swalomir dam niqqa get hk for Benin make him try induct these boys naw |
inderhappy: Ahh indabosky, How are you? So you’re on Nairaland too? Very very good. I always knew you would finish waec and make your family proud. It’s me oh, chief connakry your former oga at main market . Kedu maka nwanyi na umu go? Hope fine. I can also see business is going well for you too, kele chineke maka ozugbo ihe gi. See my son “, don’t be angry about the N400k i settled you with that year, the truth is that i actually was about to transfer N4 million Naira to your account but due to the palm wine i was drinking with your umunna and the new phone which i was still learning how to operate i made a mistake and deleted one single zero from the total digits on the phone bank application while pressing the send button that’s why you saw N400,000 in your account after. A very honest mistake. Since then i don’t drink pammy too It’s good to hear from you again, madam is always asking of you too. You can come to my new shop at line 3 to see me or better to come to the house so you can see madam too. When, before i forget, since that time i made that mistake while settling you I’ve stopped using banks and their yeye applications. I am using this small Nokia phone too because it’s easier to understand. Remember i didn’t go to school. So. . . When you’re coming you should bring the N10 million in cash. Don’t worry we will balance your outstanding settlement when we’re eating nkwobi. |
Glithronix: ![]() Remain N90k i for don piss my piss finish early this January come promote myself enter ant league by now. But bone, Cheerful really try provide my million Naira dashboard for morale booster but e nor reach say my plan to piss go fail.

otbaba:Is your check engine light on ? Is your D light still blinking? If your drive light was blinking when the technician performed the scan then there should be codes Except if the scan tool used wasn’t powerful enough to scan the whole systems of the car . You need a scan tool that’s capable of reading codes from both the engine and transmission too. I’d advise you to check someone else because Not all scanners are able to do so Since the technician noticed that the problem is from inside the gearbox then I’d advise you to change the fluid and see if there’d be any improvement before thinking of driving the car any further or buying another gearbox |
abiolag:Nope, but prolonged use of the wrong weight or type of engine oil will definitely be damaging to your engine |
Very soon Yoruba people will be using skulls as football both for rituals and for soccer tournaments ![]() |
otbaba:The truth is that from the first day that your mechanic poured the palm oil into your gearbox and you drove out of his workshop the damage to your gearbox started happening The more kilometers and months you drove the car with the wrong oil in it the more the damage occurred and things inside your gearbox got spoilt until it reached the stage where it began giving you bad shifting issues If you decide to change out the palm oil and pour in the recommended cvt fluid at this moment it will stop anymore damage from being done BUT it will not reverse the damage that has already been done inside the gearbox because of the wrong oil used so you’d be managing it with it’s current issues henceforth hoping it gets a bit better with time If you keep driving it with palm oil inside it will keep worsening the damage being done inside the gearbox until it spoils finally it might take days, months or maybe years but it MUST kpafuka sooner than later If you’re opportune to meet capably skilled technician he can attempt to rebuild your gearbox valve body but the probability of that fixing your gearbox back to how it was designed to work is 50% So those are your three available options except you purchase another gearbox Plus that scan you’re neglecting to do is very much needed at this moment |
equity2genesis:I once had a problem like yours on the same type of vehicle and engine. I later found out it was a leakage from my engine oil sump. One of the bolts broke in half and i would have had to bring down the engine from the car to remove the broken bolt so I drove it like that for two years. That time i would be topping up a liter of oil every two weeks lol i used to use the 5w20 oil that time and even after switching to 5w30 and 5w40 the leakage persisted I didn’t want to bring out my engine and pay the exorbitant workmanship just because of one broken bolt So what did I do? I bought 5w30 synthetic oil from petrocam(5 liters) and a can of liquimoly mos2 engine friction modifier from oyingbo and mixed them together and poured into my engine. I used it for just under 1,000kms and it plugged the leakage completely I ran the oil for 3,500kms without topping it up with a single drop of oil because the level on the dipstick didn’t reduce one bit Today I’m using Mobil 0w20 oils for more than 5,000kms without any shortage. I even used the remainder of the petrocam oil in my generator ![]() So change your pcv valve first and if your shortage continues you could try my method if you find out that you indeed have a leakage |
equity2genesis:Either you have a leakage , bad pcv valve or your engine is actually smoking To check For leaks park overnight after a long drive and place newspapers on the floor held with stones under the engine For pcv valve just change it because it’s relatively cheap For smoking let someone drive behind you while you’re driving in front and let the person observe your exhaust pipe as you’re both cruising on the road Is this a 4 or 6 plug engine? |
Geeman2006:Everybody know say benue josh na bmc because of npower Many people see bad and keep quiet because they are benefiting from it in one way or another |
calculation:Plus he didn’t give one single detail about the type of vehicle or engine that he’d want to buy oil for |
It’s better to go to Ogun state and renew your vehicle particulars now ![]() Lagos don cast |
Leviticuscreed:yes naw ![]() Aren’t you the guy that drives 2019 bajaj keke napep , V6 Diesel engine with power steering and factory fitted ac? The one that uses palm kernel oil and factory said to change it out after 10,000 miles or 5 years whichever comes first? |
Greyhouston:Your mechanic must have cleaned your throttle body while servicing the engine and i can guess a few things that he did wrong Maybe he mistakenly spoiled your iacv Maybe he misaligned your tps Maybe he didn’t connect on or more hoses well hence leaving your engine with a huge vacuum leak Maybe he has torn an intake hose which is allowing unmetered and excess air into the system Or maybe he didn’t connect a few sensor wires back properly One or more of the factors above will guarantee that your vehicle uses excessive fuel About your engine oil the 5w30 he used in servicing your engine is very much okay for it |
Leviticuscreed:Last time i checked palm oil is N100 for one ‘kom-kom‘ Very very cheap ![]() |
Op your skull is safe for another day ![]() All hail sango ![]() |
marsman:If you like believe or don’t believe it’s your ignorance that you’re fueling lol below are pictures of the first two examples i gave you in my earlier post. Everybody knows that Toyota, subaru, isuzu and Honda are all successful manufacturers in their own rights yet they are sharing their looks, drivetrains and engineering between a few of their vehicle models After you will argue that one stole another ones intellectual property lol I agree that I might be a flat headed osu bastard but at least I’m not ignorant or an olodo that can’t use google search like you 1st pic subaru 2nd pic Toyota 3rd pic Honda 4th pic isuzu Note that there are more than 100 of such examples in reality so you can thank me later for schooling you
|
marsman:Wow it’s like this Innoson and their successes gives you heartache lol. You’re soo ignorant of what you’re arguing about and the jealousy in your heart keeps pushing you to reveal your mumu level to the whole forum but since to go to google is so heartbreaking for you let me throw you a few fish TOYOTA 86 & SUBARU BRZ both share the same engine and gearbox plus chassis HONDA passport & ISUZU rodeo have the same engine and transmission and chassis TOYOTA matrix/civic & PONTIAC vibe all share the same engine , transmission and chassis Do you want to guess if your almighty Mercedes benz doesn’t share components with any other vehicle manufacturers? I won’t spoon feed you information that’s free to find on google anymore ![]() Ignorant and Jealous afonja like you |
