RomanceRe: Most Romantic Way to Ask, "Will You Marry Me?" by connkg(m): 10:58am On Jul 06, 2007
Ehyyy yahhhhhhhh!

See laff! Romantic ko? Stupid exponent silly ni. U myt decide to rub "moi-moi" on your face and propose.
Hear them unmarried chaps -- ", get down on my knees, " bla bla. U get knee? Abeg 4get that talk. Crap.
By the time the question is popped (at that stage of the RELATIONSHIP), if it loses sponteneity, it loses everything!

CareerRe: How To Handle A Non-Paying Employer? by connkg(m): 2:50pm On Jun 29, 2007
Brother,

I haven't been paid for 3months(this is the third). It was not on my contract (I work for a contractor) that I was to be on probation. I've complained to the rich client (who parleys with my Oga). Short of picketting my Oga's car (his 6th - a cool Honda I-VTEC) I don't think "dialogue" would work.
This is what I'm doing:
I'm running things so I can leave the country for my Masters'
I've planned to leave the company by August at the latest
I'm sending my CVs everywhere I can in the interim
Since I'm into design, I design at home and try to sell, even online from the office
I'm pestering anybody who gives me a daily schedule to buy me food because "I'm broke"
There's nothing else I can think of, except the certainty that I don't want to be here, and that here MUST turn out a stepping stone for MY future plans for myself![sub][/sub]I'm open to more practicable suggestions. I'm tired. I've tried.

BusinessRe: Any Possessions You Like To Sell Off? by connkg(m): 2:28pm On Jun 15, 2007
Hello there? This is actually a very good small-scale industry if looked into. Actually, I plan to start-up a recycling company that would buy old or faulty equipment, appliances and machines - this is far better than abandoning them at roadside technicians' places. If these can be valued on the spot, there would be a lot of customers. Similar products could then be used to assemble one working one.
A feasibility study for this turned-up a lot of Police problems. A lawyer chap's lookn into that now. Don't worry, keep them, I'm coming. Nigeria's growing!
