Recently, Legendary Gospel singer and rapper Kirk Franklin was heard saying "The Lion and the Lamb will bow down to the Goat"
They were too quick to rush into assumptions, they needed to pay closer attention to the lyrics again. (Listen to the lyrics again and dissect the words bit by bit...)
The lyrics had "deeper meanings" than what they heard.

Most of them didn't know that Kirk Franklin was quoting "Phillipians 2:10-13"

Nigerians are now fully awake and aware of the power they have to transform their Nation, from a grassroot level and upwards.

By God's Grace, our various protests, civil rights campaigns and public awareness and enlightenment campaigns are yielding fruits.
For years, it felt as though we were shouting at the wind, but by God's Grace, now the sleeping masses have fully woken up.
There are barely any substantial amount of sleepers left for them to use.
Their eyes now see the truth, and the truth that they see shall set them free.

I'm pretty sure if he was still active, Nigerians wouldn't watch Qatar 2022 only on TV.
I watched his rise and rise from start to finish. He was coached by Augustine Eguavoen, Samson Siasia, Jose Mourinho, Roberto Di Matteo, Carlo Ancelotti ( a very strict coach, if Carlo Ancelloti benched you, you'll need to look for another good club to play for but he fielded Mikel...shows how good Mikel really is) etc...
Not only that, Mikel is a goal scorer, He scored a goal the very first time he played for the most senior team of the Nigerian Super Eagles. Always in squad 1, always holding down the midfield with real life standards.
The best of his kind, winner of the UCL, FA CUP, AFCON, EUROPA, TURKISH LEAGUE, EPL...John Obi Mikel isn't just collecting his club's salary to feed his Sweet Olga and Big Family, Mikel Nwa Obi is an asset to any club/team that employs him.
I watched his football career from start to finish. He made Nigerians smile to both ends of their faces.

The present activities of the UGM is not a true reflection of core Igbo values.
The acts of UGM attacking soldiers and policemen who are at their duty posts is an unpleasant and volatile situation that could escalate. South Eastern Monarchs, Leaders and Luminaries should speak up and condemn these needless acts of killing.
Igbo Men and Women are core business men and women. Whatever we find to do, we always ensure we're the best at that trade/profession.
It's the reason why Igbo Businesses/Artisans/Professionals standout in the marketplace anywhere in the world.
This UGM menace is just not us.
We hope it comes to an end pretty soon.

The game ended 4-1 in favour of Denmark, Nigerians were angry with the result, they knew that the Super Eagles team of that year had all it takes to go as far as the Semi Finals.
It was really annoying, we knew they deliberately blew it to avoid Brazil.

Before the match with Denmark, Nigeria had shocked Spain with a massive 3-2 win, that includes Sunday Oliseh's unforgettable midfield missile that shook and shattered the net of the Spaniards.
What made the victory so memorable was the Spaniards had counted their Chickens before they hatched. Lols
They underestimated Nigeria and they paid for it.

Apostle Constance C. Friday remembers another world cup match he watched from start to finish:

. France vs Italy (France 98)
"Irrespective of the fact that France were the hosts of the World Cup that year, the tendencies of getting knocked out and sent home to watch the rest of the tournament on TV was very high.
I myself felt the anxiety of the French team that day oozing out from our television that day. It was really palpable.

However, most of the French players looked calm in the face of pressure but they had one coloring book among them (he's a genius irrespective of that) he's most likely an empath that's why he's like that, but he is a true legend of the round leather game.

He loved him a lot, he wouldn't let him out of Highbury, London.
We Africans love him a lot too, we nicknamed him "Igwe", a true friend of our Hero Kanu Nwankwo (the friend of a Hero is also a Hero) his name is (you already know) Thierry Henry.

Q: but why was a genius so anxious in a game he's very excellent at? Isn't he supposed to be calm in the face of pressure?

A: Their opponents Italy were a very excellent team as well, in fact that year, Italy was amongst the favourites to win the 1998 World Cup after it slipped through Roberto Baggio's butter fingers 4 years ago. ( Nigerians really like that guy, and the theories of village people are quite real).

Well to cut the long story short, the game ended in a draw and being a knockout stage, it had to be decided by penalties.
Being the host of a tournament or even the best team in the world doesn't mean you are above 50% likely to win a penalty shoot out.
All Players know this, all goalkeepers know this, all coaches know that too.
No matter the excellence of your team, penalty shootouts are 50:50 you must always prepare every player including your ushers, keyboardists, evangelists and prayer warriors for penalty shootouts.
Ask England about Euro 2020 and they'll explain.
France won anyways, but I'll never forget that anxious look on Thierry Henry's face.
He really wants to win.
That's the first ingredient of success...The Hunger to Win!

"Many People thought I had hate for Bonnie and Clyde Adefarasin and the entire HOTR Family, but it was not so.
I just didn't like what they did on that Sunday, it was disrespectful.
I was already a Sheriff when I came to them but i was treated like a rookie.
I wrote letters to CAN and PFN trying to report what they did. I should have gone out of the way to call Bishop T.D. Jakes and tell him what his spoilt children did instead of releasing pillow fluffs across the neighborhood.

6 years later I'm trying to gather all the pillow fluffs I let out there and release some white pigeons into the atmosphere.

I completely forgive them.
I don't feel angry anymore when I remember the incident. So let it be history. Let's not allow negative history repeat itself again.

Let bygones be bygone.

I pray that nothing else will be done either by me or by them to cause another conflict.

I take back every bad words or bad things I said about House on the Rock Church.

I watched the match from first whistle to final whistle.

Such kind of refs make football ugly, they should resign and go control traffic instead.

I think the VAR is cool.

Here in lovely motherland Africa, once you're seen cruising a Bentley or Ferrari or Porsche, the average African likes to hear you say you own it and you will do whatever you like with it. If the opposite is the case, you're most likely perceived as a person in chains/slavery.
I don't know if that's the cause of the rampant corruption in most African Political arenas but in God's Kingdom the actual owner of everything you own is GOD.
You are only the visible-owner or manager who has to give account of how well you managed what you've been assigned to manage.
