Wouldn’t you fit in as a computer systems engineer at the hospital? You manage their network and internet infrastructure while also multitasking in other areas as they need you.

In this role you can research, recommend and teach them to use digital systems that will facilitate their work e.g. ERP, accounting, internal communication like slack, patient records management software, collaboration softwares like Google workplace, presentation tools etc.

If it’s a small hospital then the role can fit in under administration.

Ever since I finished my NYSC to secure a job is a mounting task, I discovered that getting good connection can make my job seeking easier and faster so, I moved in with one of my influential extended family there they solicited on my behalf to one Wealthy woman that just built a brand new PRIVATE HOSPITAL in my hometown though the hospital will commence operation sometimes June this year. The woman agreed to make up a space for me in her hospital but I must do INTERVIEW for formality sake in which I totally agreed and ready for BUT my concern now is that WHAT POSITION CAN I APPLY OR FIT-IN IN THE ORGANIZATION

The courses worth studying in Nigeria are ;

Medicine and Surgery
Elect/Elect Engineering
Mech Engr
Computer Science
Civil Engineering
Pharmacy
Nursing

And maybe Law

In short ; Professional courses and courses that are practicable in an average society.



Studying a non professional course and a non - STEM based course is almost a sure way to poverty if your parents are not well connected. Imagine a guy with struggling parents studying Zoology, Botany, Linguistics, Classics, History, Philosophy etc. Nah big suffer ooh.

NOETHNICITY:
How can someone think that studying was a bad option and still wish he had studied computer science.
Anybody can be a guru in computer knowledge, but only few know law

•Nursing
•Pharmacy
•Computer Science
•Radiography
•Some engineering courses

If it's not any of the above, abeg sit down for house, use that money you would have used to pay school fees and get a Laptop... start learning to code,in 8 months time,you'll be glad you did so.

What I came to realize about life is this; our parents know what they've seen when they urge and insist we study "professional" courses in school,but we young folks disregard their point of view as "ancient"... I for example was studying Botany in the university, reasoned what I'll do with this thing in the long run... omorr I saw I was just wasting my time oh,took jamb in my third year,applied for pharmacy in a federal university, got the admission... I'm really glad I made that decision.

Living in Nigeria is hard... don't make it harder for yourselves by studying Nonsense
