Do you guys honestly see mentorship as your right simply because you asked someone to mentor you? Do you know the mental drain it takes to mentor someone? There has to be a relationship and a good one at that for someone to them decide to escalate that relationship to a mentorship. Like someone up there said, “No one owes you shi shi”. A mentee has to show considerable level of initiative and willingness to learn to for a more experienced person to take on an unpaid role to mentor them. Many experienced people didn’t have mentors. They literally learned on their own overcoming all the odds. Make una rest with all these emotional blackmail. If because person no mentor you then that person is wicked , then yes they are wicked. How many people do you think Dangote, or Otedola or Elumelu mentored? How many people reached out to them for mentorship? Does the fact that they declined 99% of mentorship request make them wicked?

What many of you here refer to as mentorship is you looking for someone to spoonfeed you, plan your learning, follow you up and basically be a teacher for free. Well guess what? There are many free learning tools. Use them

So I'm really puzzled when young guns here rubbish the language. I recently came across a software called Pixelfed which is a "replica" of Instagram for the fediverse and was stunned to find out it was built with PHP. Good evening Nairalanders, I have been contemplating over a month now whether to bring this issue here or not but I felt since this forum is full of knowledgeable individuals in all areas of life, then I may get something useful that will help my condition and heal me.
The chronicles of my agony started early this year when I discovered that the rate at which I visit the toilet is abnormal. I used to go to toilet like 10 times in a day (not exaggerating). I went to the pharmacy where I complained and was given several drugs which I took. The purging stopped for like a week but resumed later and by this time, I observed that there is this tiny boil around my anal area and it is constantly discharging pus.
When I observed this, I went to the hospital immediately and several tests were carried out. The doctor said my stooling is caused by food poisoning and the pus is just a matter of time that I should receive injections and everything will be fine.
I took the injections( can't really remember the name again) for three days, but then I observed the stuff still persist (stooling and pus discharge) so I had to visit another hospital and the doctor there carried some tests out too and made me understand that the food poisoning is right and made mention of the bacteria responsible for it based on the test being conducted. After this I start another injections and treatment in the new hospital.
The stolling stopped but the pus continued so I went back to the hospital, the doctor recommend me to a state hospital and when I got there I was told to do a process known as (Fistologram) when the result came out, I was told what I have is Anal Abscess and prescribed injections to buy for me (Rocephine) with some antibiotics. I used 5 rocephines with the antibiotics yet the pus did not stop.
I have been battling this condition for three months now and it has really affect my social life as I am always thinking that the pus coming out could be noticable by people despite the fact that am using cotton wool to cover it.
Doctors in the house, pls help me I have spend close to 150k on drugs,injections and test and yet the problem still persist. If there is anyone who has passed through this before please how did you get cured? Please you guys should come to my aid and save me from this mental depression.

Pls pardon my typos, I am not really in a good mood typing this.

My own case is that I was the one being taught how to drive. I begged my boyfriend to teach me how to drive for ages. Until one day he decided to have faith in me and teach, that was the first time and almost the last time I would enter the driving seat of a car long story short, I ended up ramming his rear bumper into another parked car. He had to pay for both his damaged car and the other person's. Omo, he did not talk to me almost 2 weeks any food I cook he will tell me he doesn't have appetite.
