Sagamite: I thought your were right or at least specious until the last paragraph.prove it..... - He has been the worst best more than anyone.i am guessing you mean world's best - its political....in 2010, milito/sneijder should have won it but the award still went to messi for doing absolutely nothing in the world cup/champions league. - Despite Xavi/Iniesta being as good as they are, Messi is still better and more skillful than them.iniesta/xavi are by far more skilful than messi....it is messi who needs the duo not the other way round. xavi/iniesta won titles for barcelona(before messi), they won titles for spain(without messi). messi has not won anything @ senior level without the duo. - Despite not being an out-and-out striker, he has scored more goals than virtual all in that list, even those that are out-and-out strikers.messi became a centre forward the season guardiola arrived in barcelona. etoo moved to the left side of the attack and henry moved to the right. - For the out-and-out strikers in your list, he works harder than them and is more creative.messi does not work as hard as rooney, etoo, drogba or david villa...but he's more creative than them! - For the offensive midfielders out of that list, he has more goals than them.messi stopped being a midfielder after they were dumped out in europe by man utd under frank rijkaard. guardiola moved him to the centre of the attack after that season. when he was on the right side of barca's attack, he was outscored by ronaldo, villa, forlan, etc. - For all of them, he has broken all their scoring ratios (bar Pele) and their awards won.ronaldo has a better scoring record in la liga. - Worse still, he is still young and is only at the midpoint of his career.he would be 27 by the next world cup - time is running out on him! If there are football fans that would think he is not great like the person above, they, need to stop watching football.messi is great, very great but i don't think he's better than cristiano ronaldo! messi plays in a far better team than ronaldo, equipped with the best creative midfielders in the last 5 seasons or thereabout! there's a reason spain have won all the international tournaments they have participated in since 2008 without messi....those 2 midgets(xavi/iniesta) are the force that make messi tick! |
tpapi: I jus can't understand how a married woman wit 5 kids wil be comfortably n confidently hammering bottles of gulderbottles? stop exaggerating.... we are talking about drinking with moderation here......l |
debosky: ^^ Effix Ludalix?so debosky read asterix and obelix? nice.... don't worry about ludalix looking like obelix cos it's not possible. the only human that looks like obelix in this generation is ibime. ![]() |
pazienza: A great player inspires his team to victory, messi has failed to do that so far for argentina. Go and and read about eusebio and his crappy portugal team, there is more to being a great player than just scoring goals. Cretin.you have raised a good point - you are not just wording it properly.... messi is a great player and extremely talented but it also helps to have the greatest creative midfielders as team mates.....barcelona have 4 of the top 5 players in the world in their team - there's no way any striker would not score goals at barcelona. samuel etoo became a legend at barcelona..... that being said, ronaldo and the other strikers from the other clubs cannot be compared. they do not have talented playmakers like messi does. you cannot compare ozil/alonso to xavi/iniesta. you cannot compare carrick/giggs to xavi/iniesta. everything has been designed to make messi the greatest club player in the history of football..... until messi wins a world cup/copa america, he would not convince many football fans that he is indeed the greatest player of our generation. fat ronaldo, zidane, maradona, xavi, and pele would always have that edge over messi. |
debosky: Nothing has changed in one breath, and then she lists two 'major changes' in the next. . . .na wa!i can write everything bluediva knows about football on a mustard seed! ![]() El Guapo: Coogar Stop Posting Sh1tz Here Ok -- Your Pundits Suck. . .More Sentimental than anything I could think Of.torres was in the zone in the first place because chelsea did not play to his strength. the underperformance led to his lack of goals which then culminated into his lack of confidence! |
StarBoard: My point exactly.if you are not voting take your agbero self out of here and stop constituting a nuisance to others.....dang! the topic says nominate not castigate! |
BlueDiva: Long long tory.create chances for him and he would score. you keep repeating nonsense over and over again like a donkey speaking in tongues. no striker does it all by himself. you saw rooney's goals yesterday - which of them was due to his individual brilliance? my grandmother would have scored both goals with her eyes closed - if the delivery is decent, strikers would score tap-ins! https://i.minus.com/ibkpA8V7JxysT7.gif https://i.minus.com/inBlPNCxQpd5U.gif |
i just don't understand why arsenal fans criticise wenger and not the board......not even the combination of del bosque, guardiola and mourinho can push arsenal further than wenger has pushed the club. it's a miracle arsenal are still challenging for the scraps wenger has had to work with..... https://i.imgur.com/nuxFs.jpg |
OCTAVO: Be it Monday morning or Thursday afternoon, getting drunk is getting drunk. Which is irresponsible.getting drunk is a loss of control just like if you overspeed, overdose, overeat, etc. there's a consequence for doing anything excessively. food kill people more than alcohol so no one should eat food again? matter of fact, i don't think i can even marry a woman that does not drink at all - such women have no way to destress - they constantly carry a constipated face around, very frustrated with a very short temper! |
slimyem: Passed-around info...digital images of how many camps...and how many diaries did you read?Duh!i only need to read 2 to get an idea of what obtains in nigerian youth camps. i don't really expect my cousins to make up such stories - it's not like they are getting paid to exaggerate! ...you don't know nothing about me,where i have been or haven't so don't even go there!Yes...the same way i think Cocoa house is situated at Maitama,Abuja.by the words that come out of your mouth, i can tell you are clueless.... All i'm saying is not all Nysc camps are as terrible as you think still.whoever said all NYSC camps are terrible.....are you making your own arguments here or you are just arguing without logic? i said the living conditions in the damaturu and the abia state camp are horrible - i never mentioned lagos or the hawaii camp you served at! There are camps that give people reasons to want to stay for more than 3 weeks.Keffi camp in Nassarawa for example is in good conditions like Pak stated same as Osun state camp...and a few others.you wouldn't know what a standard living condition should be - so going to the bush to spread your butt to shyte would be a perfect living condition to you. as for me, i see that as something from the stone age. i don't expect to get the 5-star hotel treatment but at least make it conducive and cosy - not somewhere i would be infected because of the poor hygienic conditions. |
this idiotic ram known as jonathan should talk less and act more.... why shouldn't we lose faith in a country rife with kidnapping, armed robbery and terrorist bombings? in other developed countries, the leader would have resigned voluntarily for his failure to keep the country in control! there's despair everywhere in the country and this hat-wearing, armed-robber looking, piss-stained president wants us to keep faith with a failed state. i cannot wait for this dude to complete his term and fück off! |
nipeks001: moderation you say.Do you think anybody really want to be drinking 5 bottles per day?NO!!!!!,It all starts from a cup to a bottle then 5.We all know it's addicting.Only a person deceiving himself will say"i will only take a cup"if you don't have self control, go to rehab! every substance can be addictive including food, water, gaming, drugs, tobacco, etc. moderation is the key - i have been drinking for 12 yrs and i have never been drunk once cos i know my drinking limit and i would never drink beyond that limit - people who get drunk have self-control issues but it can be coached into them. the only period a married woman should not drink is when she's pregnant! |
OCTAVO: Seriously, I see this as height of irresponsibility!why shouldn't a married woman drink alcohol? moderation is the key.....there's nothing absolutely wrong in a glass of wine or champagne....only the people with village mentality would see anything bad in men/women drinking alcohol. |
slimyem: Have you been to Damaturu or Isiala-Ngwa?contrary to what you think, i have heard from people who camped there - seen digital images of the living conditions and the diaries they kept while they camped there for 3 weeks......people like you who have never ever been out of lagos state tend to live in a bubble - your mentality = "what does not exist in lagos does not exist anywhere else". i bet you think there's a beach in every state in nigeria, don't you? |
StarBoard: Tokyo, I'm here.there's nothing wrong with our midfield......carrick, anderson, fletcher, cleverley, kagawa, phil jones and powell are good enough - it's just that we have an idiotic manager who is bent on playing 2 players in their late 30s. the best attack in the country played with the best defence in the country last night - and guess who won? ashley young's legit goal would have made it 3-0 on the 60th minute and city would have been demoralised had that counted..... even at 2-1, evra had a genuine penalty shout that was waived off by that slimy fool called atkinson! we are doing ok.....if anything, the defence has let us down the most! https://i.minus.com/irKNJUonkRi5t.gif |
dyabman: 'I said before that if the team play well and create chances he will score goals. It's fair to say that we are watching a Torres with more confidence and belief. I was analysing his movements and adjusting a few things. It's a question of confidence and differences in movements. The most important thing is that he appears confident.'fixed for your apollo-infected eyes.... the chances have to come first before scoring and scoring would bring about confidence..... |
slimyem: Most of the info you have about NYSC are passed around stories..why won't you think so when you served in lagos? you should have gone to damaturu or isiala ngwa to see the living conditions. see her mouth like "pass around stories"... |
maclatunji: According to the rules, you run out of camp, you run out of NYSC. Stop giving excuses.why would anyone want to stay in those camps for 3 weeks? my cousin told me he only had one small piece of mattress as bed and they were sleeping outside because of the heat.....i was like wow!!! |
zayhal: ^ I can only agree with the first part of your post but not the last. True, we're our true selves when no one is watching. But been unhappy in a marriage is no excuse to sleep around.an unhappy wife is vulnerable to the whims of any man.....where no one is watching her, chances her she would push the envelope and go for it! On camp then, some of the husbands of these wayward girls would come and you'll see the way they relate as if they share real love. Husband would come with different kinds of gifts and wife would act like she'd die if her hubby leaves, but let the man turn his back...all that is just a façade - without those stunts, the husband would be suspicious. deep down, these women would rather be in the arms of another man. Another disturbing thing I noticed then was that they had a circle of friends whom they discussed their escapades with! They used to exchange notes once they get into the rooms at night.it's like a backpacking experience.... they had it in mind to unleash the moment they get to the camp - this isn't an impulsive or spontaneous action.....it's a well-planned expedition to "open up" I do not think they're unhappy. They're simply wayward!of course, they are wayward but a woman that is happy with her husband would not allow a fellow corp member she barely knew to piss on her matrimonial vows...... |
zayhal: It's really disgusting to think about a married woman sleeping with other men. And people are ready to find excuses for them: they're not happy, husband isn't satisfying them etc. All these are just silly excuses. A woman who has problems with her marriage should quit the marriage before she starts any rubbish. Interestingly, the first place I witnessed such really was on NYSC camp ground. Though I ran away from camp myself, the few days I spent there, it was an entirely new world to me.our true character is what we do when no one is watching...... majority of these married women see NYSC as the place to unleash their frustrations - 3 weeks in an obscure village where nobody knows them...."what happens @ NYSC stays at NYSC"........ i am not surprised at what goes on in NYSC camps, some of these women are not happy in their marriages - they need the something to spice it! |
4llerbuntu: Why SAF no play giggs n scholes naa?you got £24m from the deal, didn't you? £24m could have paid for the services of berbatov, llorente, huntelaar, mandzukic or mario gomez......but you used the money to buy substandard players.... |
montelik: 6 point lead at the top. I am beginning to change my mind, we might just regain our title this season. Nice to see SAF is mostly getting his tactics right for the big away games, exempting Liverpool where he messed up despite our victory. We have now beaten City, Chelsea and Liverpool away this season. We just need to cut out dropping points against the lesser sides due to laziness or stupid team selection.silly team selection cost us against norwich and spurs.... those games should have been won with the number of available players on the bench on those days.....our away record has been perfect - we have now beaten newcastle, chelsea, liverpool and man city away from home....we keep marching on!!! this is why you pay £24m for a top striker.....where's starboard? |
valencia is a shyte player..... majority of our build up got wasted by him.....i am pleased with everyone but him! |
mukina2: gooaal!!!! |
what a good first half.... funny ish is everyone now knows we are better off without the OAPs.....however, fergie would start them again in the next games and allow our adversaries to catch up. city can have the middle of the pitch but united would rule on the flanks. ashley young has been massive for us.... |
chaircover: . . . You!!!!!! Kobojunkie accusing someone else of arguing like a twattt!!! I laugh in sheratonesehttps://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_med3inbYd81rmu9kdo1_400.gif |
bjcole: We r heard some much complains here, some women cant control themselves, some men dont ve morals, sleep wit anything in skirt be it goat or mammal. These is so much rampant in our society, church, school, government, workplace, everywhere, someone even said as far as Naija women r concern, trust only urself, so what is d solution? we r so much in d worship of God, i dnt know if there is any nation that worship God more than us or we r just bunch of hypocrites, lets not pretend, this is real, why?why do you want solution? if 2 consenting adults decide to roll in the hay, i don't think it's anyone's business......what is immoral to you could be perfectly moral to the people you are concerned about. i am not trying to play the devil's advocate here but you have to admit our way of life continues to change as we embrace civilisation. it's not unusual these days to find married couples inviting a 3rd party into their beds to spice up their sex lives.... why would a man want to dog a married woman? maybe he's aware someone is dogging his own wife too! tït for tat - fair exchange! |
nateevs, na you get their time..... personally, i am done on this issue apart from having tété-a-tété with bluediva to wind her up once in a while. empirical evidence was provided that majority of his goals were scored by letting him have a run at goal with only the keeper to beat(we never said all his goals were like that). the single most important issue we criticised was the few number of chances he was getting......but trust the charlatans to shift the post and still demand for more. useless troglodytes! |
montelik: My spy tell me this is the line-up today.Confirmed line-up MUFC# De Gea, Rafael, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Valencia, Rooney, Carrick, Young, RVP, Cleverley this is a strong team, i like this... |
chino24: You are still talking gibberish..you have the brain capacity of the pubic louse running amok in your pubes. can you not read the profile of sir mobolaji? a man that became self-made shortly after the second world war in the mid-40s. I ask again if those fools you mentioned were that rich and powerful why didn't there names appear in any sentence regarding the visit of the Queen? Or maybe they were still at ojuelegba bridge picking pocket..why should their names appear? chief odutola had a vehicle then(vintage rolls royce) that could buy the entire collection of sir louise ojukwu's automobiles. i am sure you know the facts but you are just saving face with your vacuous arguments - as long as you have grabbed the message, i am fine. you can continue to troll till you are blue in the face....... |
nateevs: This has been repeated so many times now it has become boring. Not one single one of you has ever provided proof of this. The shocking thing is, if it indeed does happen as many times as you claim, it's easy to prove.don't mind the charlatans.... they would continue to type rubbish - what did torres do today that he wasn't doing before now? when the service is shyte, they blame torres for not receiving a shitty pass. even mata knows what the problem is - he said they are used to the way drogba played and he wants torres at 28 to adapt himself like drogba instead of the midfielders to adapt themselves and play to his strength.....the mind boggles!! |
chino24: Mr man go get some sleep..i said maybe sir louise was closer to the queen....emphasis on the word "closer". sir mobolaji bagged his OBE before independence....it's the queen that awards the OBE so she must have also known sir mobolaji! Again you said Mobolaji maybe out of the country then..that was your word. Maybe Mobolaji was still on apprenticeship when Sir Louise was already hosting the Queen of England..maybe, maybe not! all i know is sir louise ojukwu was never the richest nigerian in the 60s! not even close. he might have been more famous internationally - but as per riches, forget it! dantata and sir mobolaji would employ sir louise as their butler and pay him wages! |
