Everyone knows it is possible.
INEC itself has confirmed it.

But, I hope they not referring to the one they will sit in Dubai and be busy hacking INEC server.
Says the server election winner of Nigeria's last presidential election....

I do not think we should be talking of any electronic transmission of results when a significant portion of the country remains uncovered by telecommunication network.

To desperate politicians, this only amounts to collecting ripe plantain from a monkey and giving it ripe banana.

Nothing aids rigging or anything illicit as extensively as technology, if not managed properly.

See the way the courts are just packaging and selling injunctions in my state, Anambra and across Nigeria.

This reminds me of how Peter Odili got one perpetual injunction against trial....whatever that means. E-transmission of election results won't change anything, if we do not change our mindsets.

The rate of inflation of general commodities especially food items is alarming to me angry. I have been in the southeastern part of the country since the end of January and some commodities like bread, soft drinks and even food have inflated by up to 50% since January. Please I am really confused about this situation.
And also surprisingly no one is talking about it.. huh
Economists and analysts in the house is there any particular reason for this fast inflation... Is it oil?, naira? Incompetence? Or even corruption? Fulani herdsmen? flood? I am really being sincere with my question!

Good afternoon.
There is nothing rocket science about understanding the reason for the high costs of commodities in Nigeria, and elsewhere.

The global economic lockdown occasioned by Covid-19 is chiefly responsible for all of it.

Only a child would downplay the implication of shutting down the world's economy for several months. What do we expect? That everything will just bounce back overnight after several months of lockdown?

I understand you very well. The other day, I watched a video of Joe Biden giving statistics of the jobs he created and more to be created since assumption of office and the same video showed how Buhari was telling Nigerian youths that there's no vacancy anywhere for them. Use your head.

Abraham made comments in the media. We have no known comment from Eze.

Therefore, as I said, how should I know the state of Eze's mind? We only know the stat of Abraham's mind, which is that he clearly has no regrets, and that is the subject of discussion anyway!
England o, Nigeria o.

People should play anywhere they choose.

That's my point.

People should stop implying that there has to be regrets playing for Nigeria. Regret could come from playing anywhere.

So, use your head too.

No society without the poor. They are everywhere.
The ubiquitous nature of poverty isn't what counts.

What does is, how much effort others make to lift as many people as possible out of its dungeon.

How well or much this is done defines society's security and safety for everyone.

Hustle oo ... Money stops nonsense
That's why I will always be against these new generation of 'rich' guys and their witless display of wealth.

Mindset is everything. See Oba people scrambling for rib bones from cow meat.

Before you call me names, I am from Anambra state. However, I think that we should start doing away with these 'stupid acts' of senseless display of wealth, in the midst of substantial lack.

Imagine, if all the funds, over $300million, Dr. Godwin Maduka used to build various infrastructures, including a 17 storey Medical Research Center, in Umuchukwu, was used to do suya?

It couldn't have been indigenes of Ikorodu in Lagos state, Kwali in the FCT or Ukanafun in Akwa Ibom, that were scrambling for rib bones from cow meat in Oba? It certainly is people from Oba.

This is indeed shameful.

festacman:
1. Pres. Buhari who as military Head of State oversaw the botched abduction of late Umaru Dikko in UK would literally break the vault of CBN to arrest Mazi Nnamdi Kanu anywhere and anytime. He didn't need any funding assistance to arrest Kanu in Kenya and ferry him to Nigeria.

2. Pres. Buhari who believes that most Igbo leaders secretly support IPOB and therefore refused to distinguish Igbo from IPOB in his TV interview couldn't have trusted Gov. Obiano or Chief Chris Ngige to top Intel about Nnamdi Kanu.

3. If this statement truly came from IPOB then it means the Fulani have gained massive psychological victory over IPOB. To them, confusion in the camp of the enemy is a soothing song to their ears.

4. This accusation is a dangerous trend that will further alienate more Igbo people from IPOB. Obviously, from look of things, more lgbo leaders will be tagged Judas. However, I have a feeling that dragging in Gov. Obiano and Chris Ngige might be a deliberate ploy for IPOB to destabilize Anambra State governorship election.

Fahdiga:
All this gibberish doesn't change the fact that you are the worst disaster that has ever befallen Nigeria. You have officially made Nigeria the most dangerous place in the world. Under your watch Nigeria is now the poverty capital of the world. Abnormality is now the new normal under your incompetent administration. Your terrorist brothers have continued to kill and displace people from their homes and you kept mute while at the same time sending soldiers after peaceful protesters. Nigerians never had it this bad
Let him be. We like am like that.

If other administrations had committed to fixing and building infrastructures as PMB is doing, Nigeria won't be what it is today.

You are just so ignorant about how complex managing insecurity is. In case you do not know, security is the most localized segment of governance.

Whether you agree or not, the gross incompetence and sheer ineptitude of LG Chairmen and State Governors are largely responsible for the insecurity in the specific areas that we are witnessing them. Follow what Fayose, even as a PDP governor, did to growing insecurity in Ekiti while still in office.

Wike, though I am not a fan of his tout-like, dominating kind of leadership, also showed real capacity and leadership by not allowing the activities of the proscribed IPOB group, to metamorphose into civil disturbance and insecurity in Rivers state.

If you analyse what is happening in South Africa, you would get an inkling into how much Buhari has faired with managing insecurity. Drug trafficking and abuse of hard drugs have been at the center of fueling insecurity in Nigeria.

I am certain you have not been following the recent interceptions of large amounts of illegal arms / ammunition and hard drugs across the country. For instance, only last week, over 4billion worth of hard drugs was intercepted. There are many of such instances.

It is amusing how you call looters and destroyers of public properties peaceful protests. Where a person's or group's rights end is where those of others begin. Crippling economic activities and causing civil disturbance is not no protest.

This is a democracy. If we must operate a democracy, then grievances should be passed through the State Houses of Assembly and NASS. Why do we have the legislature? People can't just wake up from sleep and shut down roads, towns or cities; loot stores; burn down public buildings; attack and kill security operatives, in the guise of protests. No president will allow that.

If you really are convinced that Buhari is a terrorist. Take him to court with your facts, instead of coming here to say what you know nothing about.

But if we all switched to pay as you go, their revenue would decline so drastically that there's no way they would be able to pay for TV rights ( which is paid for in dollars that is ever increasing against our Naira).
In fact even in South Africa, I see nothing like payg.
Let's be sincere, it's not going to be feasible.

Have you imagined that their TV rights and other costs is no where close to what obtains in telecoms? So, how come telecos haven't gone underground?
