Bishop1monte:It is a big lie! Governors can pass instructions to security operatives through the right channels. There is a policing structure which each governor should understand. All that a governor requires is to leverage the structures to issue instructions accordingly. When it is time to issue directives to their police details to carry their bags and those of their wives, who do they consult? |
Fahdiga1:The same way massive infrastructural revolution is taking place under the same junta. Meanwhile, click on the link below to see that your saviour Jonathan did same with Alex Badah as Chief of Defence Staff. You are obviously a man of short memory. https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/amp/lifestyle/164746/jonathan-extends-badehs-tenure-as-defence-chief.html |
Fahdiga1:Just as infrastructural revolution is happening under the same junta... |
Fahdiga1:Try and be analytical for once. If the same constitution that empowers the President to appoint an IGP is silent on if the IGP's tenure could be extended by the President, what is the implication of that? For me, it is commonsensical. The lawyer who went to court is clearly dumb just as many of his colleagues. How many of your people are willing to join the police and expose their lives to danger? All you want is IGP position. Abeg, make we hear word. |
Vicotex:Na we hold ourselves. Nobody hold us. |
Bishop1monte:Oga, Jonathan was generally voted out for non performance. Not just insecurity. Tell me one sector where he did well. Itakpe-Warri, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, East-West Road, Mambilla Power Plant etc, remained uncompleted. Let me even ask you about his Cassava bread project? How far? Bonny-Bodo Bridge, 2nd Niger Bridge and NLNG Train 7 Project were not even started, despite the oil windfall. What about Airports upgrade projects across the country? Nothing to write home about. It took a Buhari to complete the Ogbia Central Water Project in Bayelsa as well as the Zik Masoluem Project in Onitsha. Go and read your constitution well. Every governor is the CSO of his state. It is his job to protect his people. Ask what Fayose did when Ekiti had running battles with herdsmen. Fayose didn't go crying and wailing. He equipped local hunters to protect his people. The SE must stop fooling around and start electing real leaders. Not those who are only experts at blame games. Abeg, go find something chop, na hunger dey disturb you. |
Mokason288:Buhari and Kaunda na mate? You can go first...abi your mates wey don go nor dey? |
Christane:Same way you were paid to be bitter and wail perpetually, causing yourself retrogression and illness. |
abobote:Abuja-Kaduna Railway. Abuja Metrorail Project Itakpe-Warri Railway after 33 years. 2nd Niger Bridge. Akanu Ibiam International Airport Rehabilitation and Upgrade. Bonny-Bodo Bridge. Lagos Ibadan Expressway. Lagos-Ibadan Railways. You want more.... |
Nbotee:Oga, na Buhari get Borno. Forget that thing! If you knew how crippled Borno was before Buhari came, you won't say what you are saying. Thousands of people have returned back to their communities since 2015. |
Elonmuskfan:Oh, Israel or UK? You are not even sure. Sounded more like 'go to Aba and Umuahia. So your leader is not even in the country? |
FBIBOT:Including you that is his work tool, do you know his whereabouts? Leading and inciting his group via social media...make e come Nigeria na. |

Na your type dey kill other people and burn down public buildings in the name of protest. If you are genuinely looking for looters, why do you exempt your LGA Chairmen, State Assembly members, NASS representatives and Governor? Because they know Buhari has done well with infrastructures, they are using insecurity and killing people. They should try it and again. Go to Akanu Ibiam International Airport today. Despite having three Ministers from the SE, nothing significant was done until now. Same applies to Aminu Kano, Murtala Muhammed, Port Harcourt International and Nnamdi Azikiwe Airports. Lagos-Ibadan Railways, Abuja-Kaduna Rail Project and Itakpe-Warri Railways that was abandoned for 33 years has been completed. Has your governor complained to you that Buhari hasn't given him your state's allocation? |
FalseProphet1:But he has safely returned to Aso Rock. Please, reserve your satanic prophesy for your household. |
Bishop1monte:Go bomb am na! This is part of the nonsense we get from unregulated use of social media. Every unwell person could get online and post whatever they want. If I were President, your likes will be handled in the language that you understand. |
Coldshisha:Kaikai talk! |
Letusgivepeacea:The Igbos have proved not to have what it takes to be at those two topmost spots. They are either wanting restructuring yesterday, Biafra today or referendum the next day. Quite a pity! |
Travelau:Oga, the whole of Nigeria is a massive construction site. Projects all over, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Bony-Bodo Bridge, 2nd Niger Bridge, Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway, East-West Road, Port-Harcourt-Enugu Highway, Itakpe-Warri Railway, Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Mambilla Power Plant etc. We see what the money is being used for. How do you get investments in when you lack basic infrastructures? |
Agbegbaorogboye:Where is ESN sef? Na wetin I dey plan to ask since? |
booscy:E pain am. |
Buhari is like the seller who quarrels with good paying customers regularly because of ego, and plays nice to creditors so he can continue to borrow money to keep his business afloat. He’s a very bad leader and also a bad businessman. Here’s why: Nigeria makes only $100 million from the internet annually. South Africa, by comparison, makes $650 million annually, and their population is just about 1/3 of Nigeria’s population. This shows you there is so much potential on the internet for more revenue. Instead of enhancing this potential, he’s more interested in going on a social media war and regulating free speech. Then he goes borrowing from China to fund infrastructure projects.[/quote) What does free speech mean? You call those nonsense Nigerians, especially IPOB apologists and the vast bunch of illiterate fellows, post on social media free speech? South Africa can make the whole money for all we care. Speech has to censored to engender a decent and civil society. |
Fahdiga1:It wasn't even Jonathan's administration that started it, na your dad administration start and finish am. |
alsudan:I am not a party person, though I like Buhari as a person. I agree with you. Tinubu won't preside over Nigeria. Not in 2023, not anytime. Let watch things unfold as we inch close to 2023. I already see two persons from the SW becoming..... |
socialmediaman:Mark my words. PDP can't win the next presidential election. |
Multiplier7:APC and PDP can never be similar, let alone the same. PDP is nothing to write home about. |
Rissimenky:You can educate them again bro. I am and will remain a Buharist. Only projects are common good, and can guarantee sustainable investments and employment generation. If we keep allowing sharing of money, how many people e go reach? Na why I no dey use ear hear PDP. Who takes a party that spent 16 straight years in power without being able to complete her own National Secretariat Building, seriously? Dem no do for themselves na we dem wan do for? |
Ifearnoevil:Meaning NIWA isn't an authority to disclose such information? Una matter eh. |
okoroemeka:This isn't about poverty. How often do your in-laws come to your house? I don't think you understand. The fact is that OP has to have serious discussions with his wife. Marriage isn't a few years affairs. The woman's family must cutdown on their visits. Perhaps, OP and his wife can agree a monthly budget to support her family otherwise things might get out of control between them. Her family is actually too large, I must say. This is not about asking OP to be more patient or run away. It isn't about poverty or anything else. Nothing pulls anyone down like having too many dependants. The fact remains that none of these people will cease to exist if OP is no longer there. Yes, it is good to support family, but not to the extent of loosing our minds. The siblings of OP's wife should at least be doing something to support. They can't all be minors. Her mum should also be up and doing, being in her mid 40s, except she is incapacitated. I think that her siblings and family are lazy and naturally too dependent. Perhaps, that's how they were raised. I have seen people marry into poorer families, and hardly have their in-laws visiting let alone coming to eat like elephants, every now and then. Lazy and dependent people consume in large amounts and hardly show empathy to the one who is spending to buy these things. Laziness comes with irresponsibility and insensitivity. If you pay bills you will be mindful when creating them for others. So, OP should have a firm discussion with his wife, and they both will have to make a stand on what her family gets monthly as some form of support. His wife has a big role to play in speaking with her family to ensure that the situation isn't misconstrued, otherwise this may negatively impact her marriage. If the wife believes that it is not something her family would understand, she and OP could workout a discreet relocation plan, from where they can execute the monthly support idea for her family, if they want their marriage to survive. |
Jamesbally:Who will believe it took a Buhari to complete Warri-Itakpe Rail Project 33 years after it was started, whereas PDP spend 16 years in office before Buhari's coming. We should never forgive PDP. It is just that most Nigerian youths are plain fools. |
Kuceeh:Travel a bit more. Ngige has not said anything outside the reality. Buhari is the very best. Governance isn't about sharing money. |
richmond500:Most Nigerians will never know the man Buhari. I have been supporting him since 2003 when he ran for presidency alongside the intellectual, Chuba Wilberforce Okadigbo (Oyi of Oyi), who hailed from my state. While I must admit that no man is a saint, I make bold to say that Buhari is one of the best of his generation. For me, he is the best president that Nigeria has ever had. I wonder why this is coming from the hypocritical FFK. I dey always suspect any praise coming from this man o. Abi, PDP don stop to dey pay am? |
nairalee:Lol. He wants our market yet thinks he can start by bullying our president. |
