We always celebrate failures in this country, why celebrate the rise of a foreign reserve that was $68bn in 2008,is that not backwardness? Hi Poster, In as much as i feel your pains on this figures thats been thrown around, i think we can help educate ourselves on why this shouldnt be a celebration. With that been said, our reserves was never 68 billion o! Am sure the best we did was within 51 to 52 billion within that period. As for me, i think it's a laughable achievement in a country where oil prices as average over 107dollars ytd as against the budgeted figure of 75 dollars per litre. Also, we havent done below 2.2 million per barrel since january. Do the maths and you will see the incubument administration has a lot of explanations to do. I dont go about celebrating figures that's actually meaningless. GDP grew by 6.17% and 6.28% in Q1 and Q2 this year and inflation has been around an avg of 12% hitting a year low of 11.7% last month, yet poverty index remains high why my disposable and discretional income keeps shrinking. proudlyafrican: This is just a daily occurrence as i have had the experience 3 consecutive times, they succeeded ones because i was carrying my wife and two kids.My wife was so scared that when i refused to roll down the glass she started pulling me that i cannot afford to kill her and the children with my stubbornness, people were just watching as if it was a movie while all this was going on.I had to relax myself rolled down the glass and they made a way with our valuable but not without a gift for my stubbornness,as they used the butt of the gun to hit my head,i started bleeding managed to get to a point and parked. The guy behind me saw everything and really gave a helping hand to tie my head with his T-shirt as mine was already soaked with blood, he also helped in directing me to a nearby hospital and ensured i was ok before he left. It is really sad and i don`t wish anyone to experience it. I wish Nigerians can be allowed to carry arms for self defense as obtainable in the U.S because for me that is the only remedy.I couldn't agree more with the last part of ur post |
Last Monday made it my third occurrence. 1 Eko bridge @ 1pm 2 Eko bridge @5.30pm 3. Mile 2 @ 3.30. Na wa o. Lord knows am getting a jackknife, cos I know I can take on them, one on one. |
I will advise you try a different mech. Had similar problem once, only to discover there was a leak. |
Dotman01: Malta guinness- i dont like it, has tooAm sure you haven't tasted the low sugar, cos the sugar is really low. Wonder why people get sentimental and throw objectivity to the wind. |
teskyg: GTB habour a lot of Criminals.I lost ma BB Bold 5 at their Ikosi branch.I dropped the phone to fill ma teller and forgot to picked it from the counter.I return after 5 minutes when I realised that I forgot my fone and didn't find it there. My appealed to them to checked the CCTV camera was rebuffed with an excuse that it was not working.I quicky closed my account in GTB.Am sure the bank staff were not the only on there at the teller point. Any other customer might have walked to the teller point to lodge or withdraw and could have taken your phone. So let's try and put things in perspective abeg. Although it also sad that that the CCTV was conveniently not working sha. You could have taken it up with them. Also, this goes out to the poster that was complained about the bank using mainly contract staff for their operations. Am sure if you knew a thing in organisation structures and efficiency you will sure agree its the way to go. Besides, it's a job so if the employees are not cool with it they can always leave. We all know there segregation between OND/HND and BSc holders. Kindly educate us on the largest employer of OND/HND if not GTBank. Lets give them some credit now |
I couldn't agree more with miss parts |

Sir, I sent you a mail yesterday and am still yet to receive the pictures. Kindly accede to my request. Regards |
Nothing like 3 mortuary standard biggies (Guinness Foreign Extra Stout) and a place of spicy Isi-iwu to clear the dirty eyes at Jide's place @ Wilmer Ilupeju. |
Is this still available? |
Still no comment. Are there no mini flats in Maryland? |
Boss if you really want this property to fly, you need to post pictures. We need pictures |
I usually don't do this and I hope he doesn't take it the wrong way. Lawyer's post is explanatory, he wasn't attacking any profession. I wonder why the poster took it personal? Poster, please re-read the post, but try and be objective this time. |
Thanks for your Input. Please, what the size of the Land? MacLovington: OP, |
Please, I need a nice mini flat apartment in Maryland. Preferably within a quiet environment. Also, the preferred rent should be a year as I could be moved out of Lagos anytime. Anybody with the above information should kindly drop a response. Please no time wasting agents. Thank you |

Hi, I really appreciate your "mature" response and I wish all sellers on NL could take a few ponters from you. Please, am willing to patronize you and I will like to know what comes with a purchase besides the software and cable. Quote author=scanthecar] @cooldudeng, Thanks for your contribution, I have personally used this scanner on a 1998 camry that had transmission problems and it brought out the transmission code P07... So I guess on that my personal experience would stand as a correction to your claims. When you said you have a similar scanner, do you mean a Launch CreaderV? if it is from a different manufacturer or it might be a "clone" you might have the problem you encountered. I would also like to know the source(s) of your research that supports your hypothesis. Thanks once again for your contribution.
|
Hi poster, Pleasee what document comes with the purchase and what's the size of the land? Awaiting your response Thanks. |
Good day my fellow country people, There's a popular saying that says "two heads are better than one", so I for one don’t believe five (5) SANs can all be wrong. I strongly believe there's more to this; taking a look at previous antecedents didn’t Ibori "jump" the LAW? |
Good day sir, Please I need clarifications. Your post claims that the scanner can check the status of the engine and transmission of a car. I stand to be corrected but I don't think this scan can check the condition of transmission of all OBD2 cars. I have a similiar scanner and it doesn't check the transission status of my camry 2.2. Also, I did a quick reseach on your product and it support my initial hypothesis. Kindly, note that the aim of my post is not to spoil your hustle but to help understand the difference between your product and my existing OBD2 scanner. Your kind response will be highhly appreciated. Thanks |
@ Success4 Am proudly Yoruba. I just feel it's wrong to get all "tribalistic". At least if there's anything that have observed and learnt so far, being "tribalistic" will get us no where. I believe we will be better individuals and a country as a whole, if we break away from the views that one tribe is better than another. In reality we need to co-exist to function as one! Also, sincere apologizes for my outburst( if u feel my words were insulting). No harm intended. |
@Success4 You don't have to be abusive! Was only commenting on posts that have said that Yorubas don't have great leaders. I hate the comparison thingy but i said "only fair" and ended it with "my 2cents" (of course that's if you know what those means). Why not educate us then. Also, who are you to call one a vegetable when it comes to "great" men. I will advise you share with the house your wealth of knowledge since you seem to be "all knowing" and the next best thing after google. Once again, my 2cents! |
I think it will be very wrong for us to get sentimental and tribalistic about issues. I didn't grow up in Ojukwu's time and my history is also a bit poor, but i can say authoritatively that bulk of the people that have commented on NL have either poor history as well or just myopic. In light of the several comments on NL, have done a bit digging up my self and i would say Ojukwu was a great leader. please note that am Yoruba(but really that shouldn't be an issue) so it's not like am trying to "sell" him. For a whole commercial hub like Lagos to come to an "halt" to respect him and in the presence of great men. We need no wisdom of King Solomon to know he's a great man. Please don't compare him with Tinubu cos i believe they both :existed" at different times. It might be fair to compare him with other great men of his time (likes of Zik & Awo). For all those people that have been talking negatively about the Yorubas and not having a great leader, please read up about great Awo (Late chief Obafemi Awolowo) before commenting (it's best we educate ourselves before passing shallow comment). Even the great Dim said that Awo was the president that Nigeria never had. "he was the best President that Nigeria never had". Just my 2cent! |
Don puzo, I really must commend you on the WHOT! Game. It's totally awesome. However, they are some slight issues I noticed playing the single player mode (option1) as am yet to try the multiplayer mode 1) The game freezes when the "computer" plays a pick 2 card and there's one card left on deck 2) The game restarts each time one navigates away from the game screen to reply to an IM or any other thing. 3) Also, the score board restarts when a new game is started or when the game restarts from 2 above. I strongly feel a pause/continue option won't be a bad one! In ligit of the aforementioned, the game still remains awesome. It's been hard dropping my phone after I installed it. |
youngmonie:Nicely said! However, there's no direct tax for incomer earners below 30K. Although, the indirect ones like VAT and Tolls which could be avoided exist! |
