Ignore them, concentrate on your girl and be happy that you have what other people are dieing for. |

I dream all right. But the ones I ever remember are my enemies running after me, trying to capture me and all of a sudden I start to fly. And they never could catch me. |
What is it about Ghanaian girls? |
Follow your heart. |
So touching! |
lostgirl: lostgirl: lostgirl:What exactly is your problem? |
When kids grow up and start to leave home one after the other, either to work in other places or marriage, the house becomes empty and lonely for the mums. So I subscribe to this new addition that would probably keep the mum company and busy in future. |
'He who runs from a battle lives to fight another war'! I think your friend should leave her kids behind and go take care of herself at her parents place or where ever - health is wealth! Am sure the husband will look after the kids. It's only when one is strong that one can fight. She can later return to her husband's house if she so desire or go back for her kids. |
Why would any sane person want to be married anyway? |
Love is not a decision. It is an extraordinary feeling peculiar to you alone. One doesn't decide to love or fall in love! Love happens! |
One never can tell! |
No. Money is. |
posakosa:See me see trouble! Did I mention you? |
I'll stand by him all the way. |
N101:I love you N101. Some people just argue blindly. |
Thanks. |
My kindness to a fault! |
Have you thought of changing your number? |
posakosa:I don't like the use of the word rubbish, I was only passing on information I know is correct. posakosa:Witness or no witness has there ever been a marriage conducted in a Registry without a certificate? posakosa:Loads of them. But the so called new American wives are not psychic, so they could never have know these guys had wives hidden in Nigeria. And the many Nigerians who do this know that they have to divorce one after some years before they could marry another or file for their real wives and take them to US. The US have a record all right, and to think you live in the US!!! |
No. |
Most gals have slept with a guy before marriage! |
And as SHAM as the marriage may seem, it was made legal by the fact it was performed at a Registry. |
posakosa:The US State Department lists the documents that it accepts to prove certain events abroad, such as marriages, on its website. These are also the documents that US immigration accepts. Here is what it says about Nigerian marriage certificates: Marriage Certificates Available from local government bodies if the couple performed civil marriage at the Marriage Registry. Traditional marriages may also be recorded with the local government and a certificate of marriage issued. Places of worship that are registered with the Nigerian Government may also issue marriage certificates for ceremonies performed there. It is obligatory that every registrar and religious minister furnish such documents to the Lagos Marriage Registry, but some fail to do so. Records are generally available through the local government where the marriage took place. The Marriage Registry in Lagos has marriage records dating back to 1802. They are filed by year and place of marriage and can be obtained by writing to the Marriage Registry, 19 Kingsway Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. Since both parties to the marriage technically must be physically present at the same location with witnesses to sign certain marriage documents, proxy marriages have ceased to be valid but still occur. |
posakosa:Every marriage conducted in a Marriage Registry is legal whether for green card or not!. lostgirl:You cannot conduct another marriage if you are still legally married. It's called Bigamy and punishable under the laws of US if it blows into the open. lostgirl:You don't have to return to Nigeria to divorce him, you can file for divorce in US and that will give you a better chance if he is stuck in Nigeria and cannot attend the hearings or has no representation. But you're not free of him believe me until you do that. He is also not free of you. |

Sometimes you don't get to marry your first love. |
I believe everyone deserves a second chance! What led the lady into prostitution in the first place we would never know. And what's prostitution anyway? sex for money. Every decent man, woman has done it directly or indirectly one way or the other, with your partner, boss, spouse etc. And come to think of it we have seen prostitutes become first ladies in some countries - so what else is new under the sun, tell me? |
justwise:Yes. (below culled from UK Visas website) How do I qualify to join my fiancé, fiancée or proposed civil partner in the UK? You must show that: * you plan to marry or register a civil partnership within a reasonable time (usually six months) * you plan to live together permanently after you are married or have registered a civil partnership * you have met each other before * there is somewhere for you and your dependants to live until you get married or register a civil partnership, and you will be able to live without help from public funds, and * you and your dependants can be supported without working or claiming any help from public funds. |
For breakfast try pap and beanballs. |
