Walahi the man no go die for a long long time to come with all the rumours. Remember Nigerians 'buried' the guy sometime last year and he is still alive today. |
Uniformed men anywhere in the country do not pay transport fare, they believe it's their birth right. They just stop a cab get in an out of it finito. Now do you blame them when most of our commercial drivers don't have their vehicle particulars? |
That is not within my power or anybody's else for that matter. God decides who goes first when and how. |
Common sense. |
Getting engaged? You should be excited and happy - on top of the world, and really looking forward to it, NOT SCARED. Pause and think. |
I would say whenever the occassion demands it. If one has to do it all the time to save one's marriage, fine. |
Gettolove:Very funny, these people will kill me o! am actually rolling on the floor. |
Yes. And I especially love the "The First Knight" style. You all remember the film that starred Richard Gere as the knight and Sean Connery as the king who later died and was cremated at sea. The part where the arrow was shot at the raft carrying the body and it went up in flames was so touching. Better than being eaten up by termites and crawling insects. |
chisomquee:So soon! |
How long have you been married? |
Poor girl! I hope Jude and Anthonia are duly punished but sometimes that is even too much to ask for in a country like Nigeria. People have done worse and walked away free. |
My kind heartedness and love for humanity. |
My father must have lived his life, presumably he should be much older. My husband who would be younger than him should have a right to live, look after me and raise his own family. So I would save my husband and pray my father joins the saints triumphant! |
Sometimes you can't win with really troublesome kids so I would say "if you can't beat them, you join them" - not 'beat' as in 'hit'. They drive you crazy, you drive them more crazy. |
jemima2007:May I ask why you dont trust him in the first place? |
ud4u:This is on the 12th of August. Three days later, ud4u:Interesting! |
Why not? are they not all christians? |
bawomolo:Search me! ![]() |
I would think if you're really partners there should be no secrets whatsoever. |
Nothing. I'll only thank God for the new addition to the family and make it a point of duty to personnally supervise the child as he grows, just to make sure he/she doesn't eat salt. That way he/she retains the pure attractive 'oyinbo' complexion. |
This question is rather confusing, do you mean I get married to my husband and he takes me to live with his younger sister or can his younger sister live with us in our home? I'll answer both: first question - No way! be it with younger or older sister or any of his relatives for that matter - as in I would never go and live with them. I married my husband so I should be with him not them. 2. I would allow any of his sisters or relatives to live with us so long as they are not mischief makers. As soon as I suspect they are I send them packing. |
Mismatch in some cases, and probably medical problems. The way forward is to seek professional advice. |
With me the question would never arise. I would never carry an unwanted baby whether raped or otherwise. I am on contraceptives and choose the right and convenient time to stop and raise my babies. |
How much per night?
we paid N7,000 for the fully air conditioned room we had but I suppose the prices differ. Am sure it will be on their website. Am not their PR o, I just fell in love with these people. It's hard to believe there is a place like that in Ibadan. |
landis:www.deexecutivesuites.com sorry tried to upload some pics of the place I took, no luck here. Check pics on their website |
Kudos De Executive Suites!!! I was in Nigeria and wanted to visit Ibadan for a couple of days. A friend recommended De Executive Suites and it turned out to be 'Paradise on Earth'. Now where do I start? Is it the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, the genuine warm welcome, the pleasures and comforts of the hotel, the executive treatment itself from start to finish that would make you want to return to De Executive Suites or the strategic location at No 1, Oba Akenzua Avenue, Old Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State. With fully air-conditioned rooms and suites to choose from at reasonable and affordable prices - the ball is in your court! Other facilities include: A Restaurant and fully stocked Bar Indoor Swimming pool 24/7 Internet access Games: Table tennis, Snooker and Badminton Laundry Services. Whats more, They also have Shuttle buses to ease your movement in town So when next you're in Ibadan people, visit De Executive Suites. |
I would say go for the registry marriage. That is binding anywhere in the world. And that is why you see some people go to the registry first and again repeat the marriage in church as some churches are not licenced to join couples together. But a lot of people do not realize this in Nigeria and they feel they can get married in any church, so long as it is their church - these pastors have a marriage certificate they have printed for the purpose. So I think registry is safer, but go for church if your church is licenced to do that. |
