"Ibi gbogbo ni ilẹ ọwọ"! Whichever. |
@ efosanice Why would anybody run a race he doesn't have the stamina for? Desperation, everybody is looking to be able to make two ends meet. But at the same time wouldn't you say that is foolhardy on their part. bibiking1:Rightly said. All the allocation for first aid and medicals must have been shared by the officers. The question now is do these people in hospital and the families of those that die get compensation from either the Federal government, Ministry of Interior to the Nigeria Prisons Service, Nigeria Immigration Service and Customs Service. These people die on their grounds in the process of interview. |
The boy is only a child and should be in school, period. |
aderonke12:Happily married? And you're still giving your married ex audience! Then you're asking us what to do. I think if you're that happily married you should be able to discuss this with your husband. |
Ajebota:Thank your stars you're too far away from prying eyes of extended family. You and your husband can sit down and plan your family the way you want it without interference. |
Upbringing. |
No. |
Lack of communication, understanding, trust and loyalty. |
Nothing wrong with it, 'What a woman can do a man can also do!'. ![]() |
She doesn't love you, if she does she would respect you. Obviously she's more matured than you are and just toying with you. |
Oh, I've had a relationship that I wouldn't exactly say ended badly, but I knew from the beginning it wasn't going to work and trust me I still went ahead with it. The writings were all over the wall, I could see it very clearly, but I chose to ignore it - but all that is history now. |
Rabeshi: zeal500:Don't tell her. SHOW her. Action speaks louder than voice! |
bookione:"Words of wisdom", those are the words of our parents, and it's always good to heed their warnings. If parents don't agree to their son marrying a lady, I think the son should find a way to stop the relationship fast and not stubbornly go ahead to marry the lady - such marriages don't last. The parents must have seen, heard or stumble upon some facts about the lady or her family and don't the Yoruba's say again "oro agba bi o se l'owuro, bo pe titi a se lojo ale" - it's only a matter of time. bookione:Do you know that in those days there is what is called 'arranged family weddings'. Most popular in the Northern Nigeria and also among the Ondo people in the south. Two close affluent families would, the moment they have both sex children, decide there and then they would be married when they grow up. The families also become in-laws immediately. And no matter where these children are raised, home or away, whether they've met or not, they know they have a wife/husband waiting for them somewhere. And when the time is right, they are married. I have seen arranged marriages like this work over and over again. But times are changing, and its changing with our custom and traditions, and most young men nowadays feel they have a right to decide for themselves. |

Suprisingly the smell of tobacco trips me. And yes I would date a man that smokes. |
No. But respect does matter. |
brownbaby:Black is beautiful. Don't damage your skin. And congrats on your wedding. |
eminemkayc:If the couple are not slated to be married in an Anglican church(cause they frown against that nowadays), or are born again christians(they also say no to sex before marriage), I would say get pregnant before marriage. Sometimes the excitement of the whole celebration, the reality of change and stress of marital life prevents some brides at times from getting pregnant immediately. |
The prophet according to Fela "everything is upside down, disorganised patapata" first the teachers, now oil workers, who's next? |
baby4u2:She is not bound by marriage to the guy, they were never legally married. @ Poster: First the bitter truth: The law says they are not legally married, only traditionally engaged to be married. The guy can go ahead and marry someone else legally whereever he is and he wouldn't have committed bigamy and that would be his lawful wife. Your sister is just the mother of his child. A marriage certificate is more powerful than bitter and cola nuts! That notwithstanding the guy had been a let down. But it happens - there is nothing new under the sun, people change. We should all learn to move on and not hang on to the past. 9years is too long a time. Live!!! |
@ deor03 "All these from this poster from previous threads, I don't see much credibility in your stories." @ poster July 07 it's "i and my oga dey go out, each time we are in the office he is always requesting for sex" July 07 again: "we've been doing it but it's always in hotel" July 08: "am being impregnated by my stepfather" Is this some kind of joke? |

Work experience teenager in £13K law firm fraud 9/07/2008 A work experience girl who tried to steal more than £60,000 from a top law firm was jailed for five months yesterday. Titilayo Olaifa joined Freshfields but within three days had used their computer system to generate 11 company cheques. She forged her boss's signature and paid six cheques into her bank, a court heard. But the City London law firm became suspicious. Four were stopped in June 2007, but two totalling £13,500, were cashed. Olaifa, now 19, of Clapton, East London, admitted theft and fraud but refused to say what happened to the cash. At Southwark crown court, Judge Martin Beddoe said she "betrayed" the firm's trust. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/topstories/2008/07/09/work-experience-teenager-in-13k-law-firm-fraud-89520-20636776/ |
aysometin:UK if you're british, resident there or can comfortably afford to pay the hospital bill. Ireland if you're Irish, have a stay or can afford to travel and drop there. Nigeria if you're Nigerian, live there and can't afford foreign bills ![]() |
It's some sort of propaganda! I don't trust these politicians. According to the news story, he was poisoned some weeks ago, flown abroad for treatment and is now back in the country. Why is the 'poison' story just breaking out? why didn't anybody, not one single newspaper report it then? There's "fire on the mountain" in Ogun State presently and that is a good way for the government to divert our attention from the crux of the matter. Or maybe a way to whip up our sentiments! |
Feesha:Then tell her soonest in a nice friendly way and don't unintentionally lead her on. |
Moyola:I wonder o! |
bisibaby:I take it you are a christian and that was your pastor you went to see. But is your fiance one or a non-believer? Did you discuss the counselling with him before you went and alone? And what sort of church do you go to - some men abhor some churches. Maybe what you need to do is find the right time and place and try talking to him again about this if it's that important to you. And he is the only person who can tell you if he truly loves you. |
nalijah07:No, we do not eat together. I don't even have a dining table, just a kitchen table. And we do not eat the same meal nor eat at the same time either. So it's not uncommon in my home to see me eating rice or drinking 'gari'(cassava) for lunch and somebody else is eating beans and another a take away. |
