An executioner can't bear to be executed! |

White Halo:Yes. I suppose with the provision of basic amenities: good roads, shelter, good health services, electricity, water, good schools, and overall good environment, any sane person would realize it's a responsibility and be willing to pay tax. White Halo:In the event that these are not provided, I would not be willing to pay any tax knowing fully well that the monies paid will be going into some peoples pockets. |
Corruption of the highest order will finally and totally be eradicated. |
the hell is "tete a tete"? What does that mean?
'Tete a tete' is a french word meaning a private conversation or interview, usually between two people. |
It took me a long time to understand the special treatment. I've always thought my neighbour was only being kind and considerate in the way she relates to her houseboy. You see, this tall, handsome and hunky houseboy started working with my rich neighbour over a year ago. He does everything from cleaning, washing/ironing, gardening to cooking, and I used to think how lucky my neighbour was to have gotten a help like that. But recent happenings has proved to me beyond reasonable doubt that the young man is more than a mere houseboy. Now he drives madam's car, watch TV in the living room sitting on the sofa, and a complete new change of attire!. Recently I had cause to go see my neighbour for an urgent important issue, only to enter her house and there was nobody in sight. I decided to go into madam's room (we've been neighbours for so long, and I've been in her room a couple of times in the past), only to find the houseboy half dressed, sitting comfortably on her bed, having a tete-a-tete with her. I must have been more embarrassed than they were. Tongue tied, I forgot the reason I went to see her in the first place. My neighbour coolly led me out of her bedroom as if nothing is wrong. I never asked any questions but I have a feeling there is more than meets the eye. The situation is my neighbour is married and the husband only comes home weekends. |
amsky:Thinking about it, it wouldn't be a bad idea! ![]() |
When 'am happy I cry. When 'am upset or sad I cry. Normal things like saying goodbyes bring water to my eyes. And when we meet again I cry. Good news makes me cry and of course bad news as well. I can't bear to see people suffer and their success stories make me cry. In one word 'am highly emotional. Is it only me or there are others like me out there? |
"Sweet mother, I no go forget you for the suffer wey you suffer for me o, when I no sleep my mother no go sleep, when I no eat, my mother no go eat, She no dey tire o, sweet mother, I no go forget the suffer wey you suffer for me oh oh" |
Nah which one concern you? 'KONKO JABELE'!!! |
chika98:One can actually do that you know. Its done all over the world. You write your own simple vows and the priest use it. |
what language is this? |
How come you're holding the lady like you're afraid to touch her? By the way I agree you've got lovely set of teeth. |
The Vice Chancellor, Dean of her Faculty, Head of Department and some lecturers should all be sacked with immediate effect as a lesson to others. |
Propaganda or not, it's only in a country like Nigeria that a person that has been deemed unfit to continue serving as a Police Officer in our Armed Forces, as a matter of fact kicked out, would then turn round to emerge as the governor of Oyo State. So sad. I weep for Nigeria |
Texcee:I agree with you o jare, plus unreserved apology and adequate compensation to all passengers on board. |
Someone sent my kid "ABD Yoruba fun awon omode ati alakobeere". It's a yoruba beginner educational picture book for children learning the language and adults refreshing their knowledge. It's a good start for children and parents both at home and abroad who want their children to learn Yoruba. www.yorubabooks.com |
Hey people! Do you have kids? 'Am sure those two little angels don't deserve to die the way they did. For crying out loud they were butchered to death in Iyabo Obasanjo's car. They died her death. They had all been together shortly before then as family friends. That and the fact they were killed in her car is more than enough reason for her to join in keeping their memories alive. To do her possible best in supporting any cause in remembrance of the two little angels. That I don't think is too much to ask. Nobody would ever pray for his/her kids to even die not to talk of dieing the way they did!!! I wouldn't wish that for my enemy. I feel for the kiddies mum and I pray God will continue to give her the strength and fortitude to bear the loss of two children at the same time. |

@Aderoy: Very funny, am laughing. Don't tell me my friends mum will end up like that o! Thanks all the same for your contribution. Ah! plus contact info, later. |
I would say all the cement sellers in Akure are stupid and a bunch of idiots who cannot think. Why do they have to report Alasoniyi to the Deji for selling lower than everybody else? Why doesn't anyone or all of them think of becoming Alasoniyi's customer - that way buy all his cement of him at N1,600 a bag, then take them back to his/their shop and resell for N2,000(the exorbitant rate everybody is selling in Akure), and make some extra good money for nothing. That way everybody would be happy and there won't be any bad blood. Can't people stop and think in this country. I think Deji of Akure should not be blamed, he has judged wisely. |
