The actress playing Faye Valentine, Danielle Pineda is actually reasonably attractive. You just don't cast a Latina to play a Singaporean.

That's what happens when you drop Madhouse studios.

So after the abortion that was Netflix's Death Note live action and the botched circumcision that was the Fullmetal Alchemist movie, it seemed Netflix had learned their lesson with the surprisingly decent Bleach movie.

Now these niggas have decided to do a Cowboy Bebop love action series. Now, this anime is already a heavily westernized classic from the director Shinchiro Watanabe so it was wrote popular in the West. Also, it was set in space so localization shouldn't really be an issue, i.e., Netflix shouldn't have to change sh!t. But of course that's what they did.

Apart from the MC, the main cast was changed radically; Jet Black, the lead character's white-as-fvck partner in crime, was changed to a black guy. Faye Valentine, a Singaporean, was cast as a latina. The frickin' dog, Ein, was changed from a corgi to a husky. Which just goes to show how little Netflix gives a sh.it about its target audience.

Why is it so hard for production companies to respect the source material?

finally watched kabaneri of the iron fortress. I thought it was just a rip-off of AOT at first but they really made their own story out of it. really cool characters, awesome fight scenes and really great sound track. I'll rate this anime 8/10

Total rip-off of AoT. Stunning visuals but terrible characters, asinine plot only made possible by the characters making completely ret,arded decisions.

Why not both? Man is made up of his consciousness and his body, Johnydon in Lordreed's body is just that: Johnydon in Lordreed's body and vice versa. Like Takeshi Kovacs in a new sleeve, if you're familiar with Altered Carbon,

In essence, two new beings would have been created. Johnydon's body would effect change in Lordreed's behaviour. For example, say Johnydon is athletic where Lordreed is overweight, this could encourage the latter to lead a more active lifestyle. Likewise, Lordreed's habits that caused him to be overweight can be carried over to Johnydon's body.

Edit: Alternatively, let's look at it this way: Johnydon in Lordreed's body would identify as Johnydon while everyone else would identify him as Lordreed. What makes him think that he hasn't gone insane? Maybe some rare form of body dimorphic disorder?

In a world where people can change their bodies to better fit the gender they identify as, given that gender reassignment has been said to reduce the anxiety and depression associated with gender dysphoria. Maybe a case can be made that Johny in Reed's body is still Johny, since he identifies as Johny. What do you think?

Only disappointment was that in the end no Casualty... War machine that was all but dead and destroyed he was magically healed and fighting in the end... And I thought Iron Man would die at the end too


Few plot holes here and there.... Seems Marvel prefers the happy endings

It is basically a poor man's Naruto Anime


But it had some small promise at the early episodes, but it quickly turned to shite as the Asta character was just too annoying, plus the Anime art is also hopeless


Only reason I am still following is that I have come this far, and I may as well keep watching, plus the Asta character has the potential to Join the leagues of the OP Anime characters, so many of us wants to see how it will all turn out in the end

Gigguk said it eventually gets good so maybe I'll still give it a chance.
