oluchisimfred: Peter Obi, the PDP Vice Presidential candidate in the 2019 election, has slammed Rotimi Amaechi over his Igbos can’t succeed Buhari claim.
Recall that the former Governor of Rivers State said he would have helped the South East bargain for Igbo presidency, if they had supported Buhari 2019 general election. However Peter Obi who slammed Rotimi Amaechi over his Igbos can’t succeed Buhari claim, recounted how the Minister of Transportation could not deliver his home state to the APC in the Presidential election.
Obi who spoke with newsmen at the Rivers Government House in Port Harcourt, mocked Amaechi over the outcome of the general election in Rivers.
He said: “He’s is not from South East so he cannot speak for us. He’s not in a position to make such statements. Even he that’s in the APC didn’t contribute anything to that the success of that election. He didn’t not achieve anything to in his own state.
“Those of us from the South East in the PDP contributed to the the success of our party. For example, PDP in my state got 95 percent and they (APC) didn’t even get 25 percent in Rivers. So, he isn’t competent to speak on that”.
https://unclesuru.com/2019/05/27/youve-failed-in-apc-peter-obi-slams-amaechi-over-igbos-cant-succeed-buhari-claim/ I Can recall that some igbo here said Amaechi is an igbo man. |

Idemujoseph: Beautiful question! I am a corps member(NYSC). I will be rounding up in 3 months time. I don't want to stay idle after my nysc and be waiting for job that might take infinite years to come. So I have decided to go into farming(vegetable). Vegetable need much water. The cost of drilling borehole here in Benin is from 250,000 upward. After drilling the borehole, I will need a very big generator to pump out water because the water level in Benin is very deep. The cost of generator 150,000. That will be 400k aside PVC pipes and hose. To drill borehole in warri, I learnt that with 25,000 I will get a working borehole. All I need to pump water from it is just pumping machine which is not more than 40,000. So, you can see my number 1 challenge farming in Benin region. 400,000 against 65,000 to get a working borehole. Nevertheless, all things being equal, farming in Benin is far better that warri because Benin land is more fertile, Availability of cheap labour, many markets to market your products, e.t.c There is also availability of market in Warri, depending on your product. one product that will make a kill in the market are okra, pepper, pumpkin and water melon. |

Aside corruption and stealing of government fund, one other qualities I found outstanding among some of our political class is the ability to create jobs for the people. Atiku quickly comes to mind as a job creator, imagine his Intel logistics employs has over 5000 employees not to mention his other investments. This present failed government now want to bring this company down as if the current unemployment crisis they created was not enough. As wealthy as Buhari,Tinubu,Saraki and Abachas can anyone , point to one single company they owned that employs labour. in Nigerians. We have once again threw away another opportunity to vote the right person. |

Rules are made to be followed but we want someone to come remind us everyday to not break them. The man in question definitely knows the rule and decided to break it. Let's stop blaming government for our own stupidity and crimes. Nigerians are disobedient lot,you don't only make rules for them, you enforce it with big sticks. We take pride and joy in breaking laws. |

The crux of this matter is that Daddy Showkey has endorsed fraudsters and is encouraging them to steal from others.
I wonder how he wants to explain this same thing to people who wake up to find their entire life savings wiped out of their account by these thieves. You are talking of a person savings being wiped out by fraudsters. Can you compare that to the future and collective destinies of Nigerians being wiped out by the age long looting of our treasury by our political office holders, and non of them has been convicted and sent to jail despite the setting up of anti graft agencies here and there. The fight against corruption should start from the top. |

I am surprised that this is coming from a largely agrarian state. The white sacks they use to package some agricultural products is made with strong polyethylene. He shouldn't have banned it outrightly,POLYETHYLENE(RUBBER) has their own usefulness, especially when used to package liquid materials, and for it's toughness and durability. So, sachet/can water will be affected also. Paper bags are good for packaging light/ dry materials Even if the paper bags are glossy it cannot stand water/liquid materials for long. |

It's a shame that, Nigeria leaders are still proud to receive foreigners, who come here to market their products, without thinking of how to tap from them. Asians worked hard and they've gone to the moon, make ttheir own cars and electronic gadgets, and we are here mopping. Our school curriculum should be practical oriented(technology based) .
