1. You lied, states are responsible for 16.74%.

2. Even if the states are responsible for 1% of the national debt, it's still a contributing factor, this is basic and common sense.

3. So, in your warped and odious macroeconomic world, 16.17% or N7 Trillion is insignificant?

Dude, feels like I'm going back and forth with a 2-year-old baby with zero sense.
states mostly take loans internally, which is easy to pay back, unlike the federal government who borrow from China and IMF.

Do you know that the federal government is taking loans to service debt.

You are not versed with the monumental debt the federal government has plunged the nation into, state government debt doesn't impact on the nations economy unlike the federal government

Please go and concentrate on your JAMB exam,

When they talk about Nigerian debt, they are also talking about N7 Trillion borrowed by state governments including your own state.

Again, no sense, just rubbish as usual.

So, Tinubu's 6 months admin is responsible for all the debt you accumulated decades before including the N7 trillion accumulated by state governments?

Why is it always hard for you people to make sense?
You are not making any sence either, Buhari borrowed the country to stupour before disembarking.

Nigerians thought with the removal of fuel subsidy, taking of foreign loans will be drastically reduced but alas.

Tinubu is borrowing dollars to shore the ever increase demand because they lack the economic power to generate forex to stimulate the economy, this has led to the flight of multinational companies.

All these moves are only short term solution, the system Will still be strangled, thereby leading to the continuous high demand for the dollar which will ultimately lead to the continued fall of the naira.

Nigeria under president Tinubu is a gunpowder waiting to explode with the incessant borrowing despite the fuel subsidy removal.

Too much money is injected into the economy without a corresponding productivity, the legislatures are looting millions without putting them into any productive venture to stimulate the economy.

The end result is huge debt profile on the country with it attendant inflation.

It's sad story for Nigeria and Nigerians

The Ordinary Nigerian is passing through the hard times after the removal of petrol subsidy and the floating of naira. Look at the amount of money that is to be spent on frivolities under this government, it is shocking and it’s not something that any Nigerian should be proud of irrespective of the party you support. The level of economic hardship among Nigerians has worsened drastically since May 29. Inflation has sent the price of basic commodities out of reach of many ordinary Nigerians, thereby deepening the poverty yet we fight one another for these rogues. All we hear is we will do this and that, the government has continued to insist that the hardship faced by Nigerians is necessary for the country to achieve economic prosperity shortly which we know will not happen with this mentality and spending on stupid things when these moneys should be used for something of more importance.

Billions on car park. God have mercy.
How many trucks of cement and roofing cost billions?

May God will cast terrible illness on these wicked people.
I will never pity a Nigerian politician.
They are heartless.....

You wey de support them. Shishi you won't get. Keep being tribalistic. Everybody go suffer am.

Abeg leave Nigeria if you can. Being abroad and hearing these stupid things relieves you, staying in Nigeria and hearing these things will just give you pepper body.
Nigeria politicians are not the problem,if you go there you will join the bandwagon.

It is the system they met,the endemic corruption, chop I chop and self enrichment that the nigeria system supports.

Until the value system changes, nothing will change.

This is 2024 already, you guys should stop all this dirty beer parlor gossips. Do SE has any commercial or trade volume close to Kano or PH?, does Kano have a seaport?.. By first week of January, y'all would flee SE back to where you sweat it out, while SE becomes deserted. I haven't seen any nation or tribe succeed this way.
landlocked kano state is never a commercial hub centre compared with Lagos with it's functional seaports;no thanks to western politicking.

Kano state gets all their goods from Lagos ditto Anambra state (Onitsha) the big difference is that the Ibos are the major importers even the major warehouses in Kano state are owned by the Ibo's.

I repeat, all Igbos cannot afford to come back home, they can build up their home from their base and that's what is happening in Onitsha and Nnewi which is unarguably servicing the whole south south region

Pretty much everybody is back home having a blast, there are lots of fun, catching up with friends and families, different kinds of ceremonies all lined up at this festive period. However thrilling it might feel, it's nothing compared to making your home a home and not a guest house. The prevaling economic, social, territorial and regional realities throws a huge challenge to igbos to build a commercial center in the southeast. Almost 90% of the wealth transfered back home this December comes from outside. The fact remains that wealth is not distributed through crumbs sprinkling but by proper deliberate investments. The crumbs you take back home every year ending is unstainable to the development of the region. Several decades after, Igbos should be aggressive in replicating a Lagos, PH, Delta, or Kano in the southeast to boost sustainability. Would igbos ever challenge themselves to build home and attract investors than rushing down to catch the next bus going to other regions at the begining of a new year.
what commercial center do Igbos want to build in the east aside Onitsha and Nnewi.
All Igbos cannot be at home, they must go outside to hustle, even Jesus Christ left his place of birth before he started performing miracles .
I don't think there's any commercial center in the country that is bigger than Onitsha and Nnewi except Lagos due to its functional seaports.

They knew Edo state is obedient,so they are about creating confusion so as to divide their votes
