Amazingly, ever since we began the public ministry, people have been listening to us. I never expected that to be honest. But now, I'm sure that we'll cross the 8million mark when the stats are out in the next service year.
Parents that use to chase us away, now push their children to listen to us 'Stand up Junior, go and tell that uncle to study the Bible with you'
Once I asked an 8 year old boy to help me conduct study with a group of young boys but older than him cos I'm not fluent in the local dialect. I noticed that the woman was actually hiding behind the curtains as we sit in the corridor, she flipped the curtain to look at this boy. He was so good
People really underestimate us o, but we remain the most powerful and yet most peaceful group
Maybe we should open a thread to start sharing what we have accomplished. How many times have we appeared to knock on someone door who was just about to hang himself? How many times have we approached a strange house to preach and the owner says that no one has passed the path we took and lived?
Why is it that some brothers who were once juju doctors were always warned by their gods in a revelation never to allow Jehovah's witnesses who were coming into the village but did not receive such warning about other religious groups cos Jehovah's Witnesses are dangerous. It was curiosity that made them listen and our Bible message helped them break free
Once two brothers went to preach and approached a place they did not know was a shrine and the juju man was wicked. When they called out, the man came out in the regalia but he was calm, the brothers were uneasy though to be honest. They told him why they came, this man quietly went in and brought out 4 chairs, not 2 but 4 chairs. The brothers were shocked but they did not ask, they just quickly shared the message but this man was listening like a child and asked them to meet him in his own house which he described for them
When they came later, he brought out 2 chairs and they conversed. When the brothers asked why he brought 4 chairs the other day, the man said that he saw 4 persons but the other 2 looked somehow unusual. Well, who could that be? It reminds me of the fourth person king Nebuchadnezzar saw in the furnace when he only dropped 3
