A hate for tinubu is a hate for yoruba people, now is there time, stop hating on them and their candidate.
When Yoruba (Lagos) was on fire what did your Tinubu do?
treesun: Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday raided the Wuse Zone 4 bureau de change hub of Abuja over the falling naira.
The PUNCH learnt the EFCC operatives are investigating claims that some individuals are mopping up and hoarding foreign currency thereby causing a scarcity that is driving up the value of the dollar.
An EFCC detective who wished to remain anonymous said, “It is true. We stormed bureau de change firms in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, for a covert operation to dislodge currency speculators who are alleged to be massively mopping up available foreign currencies.
“The raid is a product of weeks of surveillance in which agents of the EFCC have been monitoring the activities of most of the bureau de change operators in the Wuse 4 axis.
“The anti-graft agency is working on intelligence that some forces with massive naira inflow have mobilised resources and, are busy buying up available foreign currencies especially the US Dollar, to either hoard or smuggle the same out of Nigeria.”
It was also learnt that some operatives of the commission had been deployed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja as part of a coordinated operation to halt the activities of currency speculators.
The Spokesman for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached for comment on Friday.
The Central Bank of Nigeria has in recent times come under criticism for failing to stabilise the naira which has continued to dip against major currencies.
The ruling All Progressives Congress had in 2015 promised to stabilise the exchange rate which stood at about N200/$1 on the black market at the time.
However, the naira hit an all-time low of N710 to the dollar earlier in the week, attracting criticisms from the opposition. The naira has, however, remained stable at N420/$1 on the official market.

Edo-based Clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has reacted to claims that he is diabolic and has had extramarital affairs with a number of actresses, both home and abroad.
Reports were rife online this week with claims that the clergyman who was enmeshed in a sex-scandal involving a Canadian-based lady, Stephanie Otobo, a few years ago, is diabolic. A list of the actresses he has allegedly had an affair with was also passed around.
Responding to the allegation, Suleiman who was preaching in a crusade, described the people peddling the rumor as ''Fools''.l
In his words
''I heard that they are dragging me on social media, that the man is diabolic. Diabolic kill you there! You want to drag me? We will drag ourselves.
With regards to the list of actresses he has allegedly had intimate relationships with, the clergyman said he cannot deny his ''children'' and the people who have visited his church before
''The list nor long sef'' he said
He said no one drags him because he would use the dragging to gain more popularity for himself.
Devineee: I almost go lured into a bush in Oyo state according to him. More details shortly.
Updated
Update going on right now I called for help on nairaland due to the fact that I have tried every possible best in my life to be able to secure a job but all of those things were not successful, so someone here on nairaland told me he will help me that I should contact him through his DM. so I contacted him thinking that he was genuine I was so serious with his conversation that I accepted to work with him with all my heart but from the way he hides his identity and the way he usually call me and the way he usually complain even when he hasn't given me the job really made me found out that something is really really wrong with the job he want to give me, so I was told by him that he will give me a job in a farm in oyo state I was so happy that I promise myself to do anything possible to be able to stand for the job, not knowing that he was trying to take advantage of me. he was using the advantage of my suffering to be able to get me, he always call me and never let me call back whenever I ask for his ID he will never show me his ID, he always tell me he is a millionaire but he will never help me with my transport so I got confused and I decided to let go of the job, because recently people has been using social media to lure people into bush and kill them there. so I advise myself at the grace of God no matter how my suffering is I will not be use or killed, after that I started seeking for opinions from people I was able to discover that that place he was trying to lure me to is a very dangerous place, and that's the best thing I can do is for me not to go there, so I told him I won't be coming any longer that was after he told me to find 2,000 naira before he can book a car online for me to come and meet him directly in the bush he called farm. I really thank God today he proved himself. he really has bad intention towards me, while seeking for help today, he commented under my comment section that after giving me all the hope why will I still go and be looking for work again he got offended and started threatening to hurt me or hurt me in any way he can thinking that he can put fear in me so that I won't let anybody know what he has been doing. I didn't care I asked him politely why are you getting angry ? you gave me no such thing as a dime you didn't give me any help and you are trying to stop others from helping me you are always online trying to find people to lure them into the farm if actually the farm is real, and as I'm telling you, you all can see his threats In the other threads. Be careful who you go to for help. cuz most of them will take advantage of you, majority of them are not genuine imagine if I go to the bush and I get ambushed by people nobody will know I was there and I will just be wasted just like that and the worst thing is he don't want anybody to know about the farm he only talk about it offline the only thing he does is giving a fake analysis about the farm please do not fall victim to that kind of job employment if you value your life.
He almost got you cheap. My only advice is for you to go improve on your IQ, bro. And it will help you get a good job going too...
Newphiligeek123: A 37-year-old Nigerian woman, Portia Odufuwa was taken into custody on Monday after she fired several rounds inside Dallas Love Field Airport in Texas and was shot and injured by a police officer, the authorities said.
The woman was dropped off at the airport just before 11 a.m. and appeared to change her clothes in a restroom before emerging and opening fire inside the airport, Chief Eddie Garcia of the Dallas Police Department said at a news conference on Monday afternoon. A Dallas police officer inside the airport shot her, striking her “in the lower extremities,” and she was arrested and taken to a hospital, Chief Garcia said. Her condition was not immediately clear on Monday afternoon.
It was unclear whom or what the woman was aiming at when she fired. Chief Garcia said that the officer fired several rounds at her after she began shooting.
The Police Department said that she had fired a weapon several times in a ticket counter area of the airport.
No other injuries were reported, the police said, but the shooting sent travelers scrambling for cover and delayed several flights. Before the airport shooting, Odufuwa had racked up a string of arrests for arson, robbery, criminal trespass and false reporting across North Texas.
In April 2021, she was accused of pulling the fire alarm at a Mesquite hotel after staffers refused to extend her stay. When police asked for her address, she allegedly gave that of musician Chris Brown’s mansion.
In October 2019, Odufuwa allegedly set a house on fire, but the Dallas County District Attorney’s office declined to press charges due to a lack of scientific evidence. After telling police she was “responsible for the fire,” she said she had set the blaze because “I am God’s prophet,” according to an arrest affidavit sighted by Afrotimes Newspaper.
She also allegedly told officers that she wouldn’t say anything else until she talked to Chris Brown, who she claimed as her husband.
