danvon: Are you God? Who are you to decide who gets Bethlehem? Bethlehem is now with Palestine. Jordan retained control of the city until the Six-Day War in 1967, when Bethlehem was captured by Israel, along with the Sinai and rest of the West Bank. In 1995, Israel turned it over to the Palestinian National Authority in accordance with the Oslo peace accord and the Sinai was returned to Egypt. Most of the sites we read in the Bible are under the control of the Moslems today; the Palestine Arabs already have Bethlehem, Damascus is in Syria, Mount Nebo in Jordan, Seven Churches of the Revelation (Ephesus, Pergamon, Smyrna, Laodiciea, Sardis, Philadelphia, Thyatira) and Assyrian Orthodox Church of Virgin Mary in Turkey and so many in Iran, Iraq, Egypt etc. More than half of Armenia, the first Christian nation is now part of Turkey. All these sites were taken over during the Islam conquest. Jerusalem which they now say it's their third holiest site but it's the only holy site of the Jews. They won't give it up. |

SOURCE : THE INTERNET WHAT IS BITCOIN?IT'S CALLED MONKEY BUSINESSA long time ago in a village far far away.......A lot of monkeys lived near the village. One day a merchant came to the village to buy these monkeys! He announced that he will buy the monkeys @ $100 each. The villagers thought that this man is mad. They thought how can somebody buy stray monkeys at $100 each? Still, some people caught some monkeys and gave it to this merchant and he gave $100 for each monkey. This news spread like wildfire and people caught monkeys and sold it to the merchant. After a few days, the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys @ 200 each. The lazy villagers also ran around to catch the remaining monkeys! They sold the remaining monkeys @ 200 each. Then the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys @ 500 each! The villagers start to lose sleep! ... They caught six or seven monkeys, which was all that was left and got 500 each. The villagers were waiting anxiously for the next announcement. Then the merchant announced that he is going home for a week. And when he returns, he will buy monkeys @ 1000 each! He asked his employee to take care of the monkeys he bought. He was alone taking care of all the monkeys in a cage. The merchant went home. The villagers were very sad as there were no more monkeys left for them to sell it at $1000 each. Then the employee told them that he will sell some monkeys @ 700 each secretly. This news spread like fire. Since the merchant buys monkey @ 1000 each, there is a 300 profit for each monkey. The next day, villagers made a queue near the monkey cage. The employee sold all the monkeys at 700 each. The rich bought monkeys in big lots. The poor borrowed money from money lenders and also bought monkeys! The villagers took care of their monkeys & waited for the merchant to return. But nobody came! ... Then they ran to the employee... But he has already left too ! The villagers then realised that they have bought the useless worthless stray monkeys @ $700 each and they are now unable to resell them! Nobody has use for stray monkeys.... The rush into trading in Bitcoin is the next *monkey business* Once the trading stops who will want to buy a digital code with no intrinsic value ? It will make a lot of people bankrupt and a few people filthy rich in this *monkey business* That's how *Monkey Business* works |

This is misleading though, the system should be amended to follow your line of thought. Whaooo, this is a negative development. US Embassy should fix this, it is not an efficient use of IT platform. If she is not returned, she might have to prove that she is capable of paying her medical bills and she needs big money for this. If unable to prove this, she will be returns at POE The change of intent form do not really count. The visa must be used for the initial purpose it was obtained for, and she shouldn't be pregnant at the time of the visa interview. in order words, there must be a minimum of nine (9) months from the interview date and expected delivery date. |

If it has been used once for the initial purpose the visa was obtained for, then it can be used for birthing. Other people were virtually on their laptop searching for new dates, after a while a limit was introduced to how many times you can log in within a certain period. babaolofin: Bros, let me tell you the truth the Ibos, Yorubas & the SS are far better off existing independently. The whites know this. We were giving independence under regional system. Our regional system is similar to the autonomous community of the 7 regions that made up Spain, but 1978 constitution made each region of Spain more independent. Take a look at the Emirates that come together to form UAE. Each emirate has her ruler & independent with some powers giving to the centre.
The North & the Nigerian elites do not want us to return back to the regional system. The south have been going to the conferences with different agenda.
The North has been accusing the Yorubas of being behind Biafra & Resource countrol agitations of East & SS. Mind you, the old northern political elites & their counterpart in the SW have been on the battle for regional autonomy since the military era.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/07/restructuring-southwest-troubled-nigeria-since-1953-yakasai/
The inability to have a common stand in the South has imprisoned the SS people that have been exploited & imprisoned in Nigeria. The vendetta carried by the Ibos aggravated by various false information & highly inflated propaganda against the Yoruba because of civil war has further caused problems. While Abiola was in prison, the Ibos were very happy. Every week, the Ibo rulers & elders struggled to pay homage to Abacha in Abuja. No tribe in Nigeria ever did that, not even the Kanuris, Abacha tribe.
With the level of insults the Ibo youths have heaped on Yorubas on the social media, it would be very difficult for the youths in Yorubaland to agree with the Ibos. I had my first degree in the east (IMO) long time ago where I spent 6 years, till date, the Alumni association is almost inexistent. The people there are not totally receptive to other tribes. It pained me while I see ABU or Ife people getting excited to see or meet each other, my people have a non fellowship attitudes toward themselves. In fact one of them brought the injustice of Nigeria toward the Ibos as a topic in yr 2000 when I visited another Alumni (Yoruba) working in the same company with him. Since then, I stopped asking after him whenever I visit that office. That was almost 17yrs ago. With this mindset, it would very difficult to work together. Even while in the campus, they did not fully integrate with us with the exception of few social ones & those that grew up in South West. We were like orphans in their midst praying just to graduate & leave. Less than 1% of the student populace is from North. I believe things changed later, but with these ipobs attacks on social media things might get worse again.
When I read that Chief Afe Babalola was a major signatory to the Ibadan meeting, I suspected Pa Ben Nwabueze is involved at the background. The issue on the ground is the orientation toward having a united south. The north does not want this. Also, the SE & SS should observe that there is a cultural linkage between the North & SW. There are also people I called Yoruba Fulanis in Osun, Oyo & Kwara. These are the Yoruba speaking Fulanis whose ancestors have lived & died in these places. So, all these factors must be considered to arrive at unified position for restructuring. Well said. My take is that we should continue to dialogue in an environment devoid of harassments (from the authorities) for as long as the agitations are peaceful. |

babaolofin: You want to confuse & encourage Biafra with Catalonia issue. Spain is not a federation but highly decentralised unitary state. Catalonia is one of the autonomous communities that formed Spain. Each autonomous community has their leaders & regional flags & their system of governance. This is recognised in their constitution. What is happening in Spain is within the purview of Spanish 1978 constitution. Despite the constitution, the central govt has set a legal trap against Catalonia.
The people are more refined & civilised. They have not harrassed & insulted the remaining autonomous communities & neither have they engaged the Spanish Army.
The barbaric behavior here is animalistic, intentionally creating nuisance to embarrass the government of Nigeria.
Wisdom is required. What can put us in the present Spanish condition is to return back to regional system - restructuring. In UAE, it is easier for any of the Emirates to go, so also in Spanish autonomous communities.
The Ibos are the enemies of restructuring. Bolded That is a very sweeping statement. The video I saw online did not show that the campaigners were armed. We should be tolerant to others' views. I did not and never support cessation, all I am saying is that the authority should be civil in dealing with the campaigners. There is nothing wrong in the authority having constructive engagement with them. One fact is that the Igbos are better off in a bigger Nigeria because of their commercial nature. If there is any ethnic nationality that needed Nigeria most, it is the Igbos. The Igbos are everywhere in Nigeria, even in the remotest LG area. We should not be intellectually lazy. |
