It reasonable for the VO to think that way, but she equally had an open mind. She gave you the opportunity to clear her doubt by following up with question on your job the second time.

You don't have to visit other places if you really don't want to, but next time you should learn how to demonstrate that your well paying job/business is your "strong tie" to Nija.

However, since your children already knew they should go on vacation to US you can make up with a visa stress free country like UAE.

I hope it wasn't an annual figure, because it would be difficult for any VO to believe you can conveniently afford to spend a whopping 3 million naira on vacation.

However, if that's your monthly income you refused to shine, when you were asked about your business the second time. The VO gave you a second chance but you didn't take it.

If I were you, I would have said something like "I am into production of animal feeds (or whichever aspect of agriculture business you're into) with average yearly turnover of XX million naira. I paid personal income tax of xx hundred thousand naira last year".

Only if you're a dependent of G visa holder that you can get G visa (for dependents) by not appearing, even as a first timer. In a simple term, is your spouse or any of your parent working with international organisation such United Nations, IMF, World Bank etc. If your answer is "No" then you're likely to have been scammed with a fake visa.

If you finish from for example Chrisland College Lagos, you only need 10 months to do your A-Level. 2.5million naira. Pass it and you will be in a UK university doing a 3yr program.

It appears that you didn't include your Uncle's name as a relative in your most recent visa application form, because you were surprised on how the VO came up with his name. Unfortunately, you had earlier stated his name as a relative in previous applications.

VO was of the view that you lied.

Equally, your Uncle's status in USA could be an issue.

I Disagree with u but theres no point arguing with u......the govt is aware d company exist and like I wrote earlier your business has to be worth £200k to qualify for entrepreneur visa and not all companies are worth that.....i pay my taxes and I never had a problem renewing my visa and I always indicate what I'm doing for a living when renewing or at POE.... don't talk about what u ain't sure of ...Google is ur friend.

Thank you......but take note I didn't work illegally in the UK...my company is registered in the UK and it's not considered working illegally unless u take a physical job from a UK employer....there are many companies everywhere that owned by foreigner ...I've done nothing illegal.

Self employed or entrepreneur visa in UK and US requires your company to be worth a certain amount £200k in uk ...bit sure how much in US but I think $100k or more ...my company isn't on that level yet ...so I can't apply in that visa class ....

In UK, "working" is not restricted to "physical work", "online work" is regarded as normal work. You need a self employed or entrepreneur visa to work for your UK incorporated (or registered) company while in the UK. Doing that on a visitors' visa is a violation of your visa terms. You are not even permitted to do voluntary or unpaid work. It is same rule across Europe and North America.

I paid the application fee and was trying to schedule family appointment(my wife/myself/kids)
I added my wife to the profile successfully, but each time i try to add any of the kid's info, it will return a message that reads:

Unable to add applicant because some or all information you entered belongs to another applicant.

My wife and kids got their passports the same day, so date of issuance and expiry date is the same. This is probably what the error message is all about as every other info is diff.

Please how can i add my kids to the profile successfully?

Firstly, recheck their passport numbers and be sure there is no mix up.

Secondly, ensure each applicant's DS160 confirmation numbers are not mixed up.

And thirdly, if GTB issued different payment confirmation code for each applicant be sure you stated the right code for each person.

Are you sure of the man's monthly salary? Air tickets alone for four them, if they are all traveling would cost him at least his salaries for six months.

Well since my company internet based i can work from anywhere...so I work from Nigeria as well. But the only tie to Nigeria is that I help my dad monitor his properties here in Nigeria when I'm in the country...
i think i have more ties in the UK ...i spent virtually the 1st quarter of this year in the UK on a visit visa. (My 2 year uk visit visa just expired in July but wanna apply for us visa before i renew it ).

This is a red flag. Since you can work from anywhere, you already implied that you can stay put in US and still continue online work.

Second Bolded
You just confirmed that you'll violate your visa terms, if given. You worked illegally in UK, so why won't you work illegally in US too.

The only business allowed on visit visa is business meetings (including negotiations, contract signing etc.) nothing more. Online work is not permitted. Online work falls under self-employment, and self-employed visa or work permit is required in this case.

200k is not too expensive because it would cost a fortune to use search engines like google. You (or is it your friend) better grab it while the offer lasts.

You obviously didn't state the correct information, except if you did not complete and submit the DS160 form within 30 days (hope I got the number of days right).
Last time I retrieved a DS160 form, I could recall stating the DS 160 confirmation number. And thereafter, the system requested for the first five letters of my surname, year of birth and answer to my security question.

Every error in a DS 160 is treated the same way. Fill a new form and write to the embassy to swap the forms. Read the first page of this thread. It's stated there.

Statements are not asked for at the US visa interviews. If you want to carry, do so. However it will be a waste of your money

In specific, retrieve the DS 160 form and create a new application. Simply correct the error(s) on the newly created DS 160 form and submit, then go to profile section of the appointment portal and replace the old DS160 form number with the new one. Thereafter, print a new confirmation of appointment paper.

I do not think any VO would ask a self employed person such question. Rather they would be more interested in his business income, amount of income tax paid etc.

This is the second script, I am seeing this question in two weeks.

My sense is that this is a way VOs now assess the credibility of employers. It's most likely that if your company's email address is xxxx@gmail.com or yyyyy@yahoo.com (or any of those free email domains), you may be refused visa because companies using free emails addresses, are not regarded as serious organisations.

You didn't answer the last question, and I think that is where you lost it. I have a feeling that he/she wanted to reassure himself/herself that this dude would come back to his work. You missed the opportunity to give that assurance.

Your script is similar to someone I know, almost same salary but she did her masters in UK.

Her response to that question was something like...... When I resume, the first thing is to read the debriefing memo written by my colleague that would handle my duties in my absence, and thereafter ......

Before she could finish her statement, the white paper was brought out by the VO.
