cosade: I doubt if legal action would work, because they made all participants to endorse a clause which indicated that, participants should only contribute the amount they can afford to lose. Nothing would make me endorse such a clause. FlirtyKaren: Chuddy Ugorji, according to his wife, brought MMM to Nigeria. 3 days after the website froze participants' accounts sparking reports that MMM has crashed, Chuddy has finally addressed his members.
According to him, he woke up on Tuesday and saw the news that accounts have been frozen for a month just like every other person. Chuddy explained that he has always encouraged members to provide help only with their SPARE MONEY and also get help at the end of 30 days.
He is hoping MMM comes back healthier and stronger in 2017. Read his statement below.
Meanwhile, his wife has deleted the open letter she wrote to Nigerians from her Facebook page.
"Goodday great mavrodians, This week has not been easy for all of us due to the news update on our POs As we all know ,the media has been a tool used by anti-MMMites and pessimists to fight against the growth of MMM Nigeria. Unfortunately some ignorant Nigerians who don't understand what MMM is all about have been brainwashed by the information broadcasted by the media and social networks
Regarding the frozen mavro. It is clearly stated on the news section on the website Confirmed Mavro will be frozen for A MONTH .
The reason for this measure is evident. The system needs to prevent any problems that might arise during this festive season and this measure will be cancelled once the festive season comes to an end.
Frozen of mavros does not mean MMM has stopped operations or crashed rather the system has adopted this measure to avoid any mishaps. The support system are working on issues to enhance the effectiveness of the community. Also let's note that contrary to what has been published by cheap bloggers, Am not the Admin of MMM but one of the top guiders of this great community. And non of us has access to the site, I woke up on Tuesday and saw the News on my PO like every other person. The MMM website is been managed in Russia by their control and supervisory team. They are responsible for every decision made, like pairing of participants to provide help and get help, resolving issues on the platform etc.
I have always been passionate about tutoring members and guiders about the ideology of MMM , the rules and the risk; I have encouraged members to provide help only with their SPARE MONEY and also get help at the end of 30 days.
The reason members have to continue in this pattern of provide help and get help process is to ensure the sustainability of the system, because the platform is a peer to peer system, members knows that they own the system and pay only to themselves, There is no CENTRAL ACCOUNT. . Regarding getting help, every guider in the MMM community has a limit to withdrawal and I have never made withdrawals above my limit ,rather have always helped to ensure the growth of MMM Nigeria community. Instead I have given more to the community through charity works and teaching of the ideology of MMM.
Bloggers who get paid for promoting rumour, when ignorant Nigerians click on their blogs , Google Ad sense pays them per click. Hence they seized this opportunity to enrich themselves even when most of them are participants and have taken more from the community, many of them are involved in uploading Fake Pop's and multiple accounts all in the bid to frustrate the programme of the community and that is part of what is been looked into and it would be stop so that we have a healthy and stronger MMM NIGERIA in 2017.
MMM founder is a Russian Sergey Mavrodi not a Philippines. I have never been to Philippines ,the stories about going to the Philippines are untrue. I stand for the true ideology of MMM which is anchored on providing and getting help willingly.
Let's hope the best and STOP the PANIC! We shall overcome by God's grace ."

http://www.lailasblog.com/2016/12/mmm-top-guider-chuddy-ugorji-reacts-mmm-crash.html These MMM guys are smart by providing escape routes for themselves. But sha, it's not their fault. People signed up with this kind of caveat, are to be blamed. All these noise about no central account is arrant nonsense. Yes, there is no central bank account but there is a central IT platform which can easily be manipulated to the desire of the top MMM guys. |

gj22: You are right partially but there is no scam. That's why it's called ponzi scheme not ponzi scam.
They deliver on their 30% promise. So, where is the scam? cosade: Investing in economic activities cannot compared with gambling. Even if you incur a loss, you would have learnt something, so it's not likely you'll repeat the same mistake again.
However, gambling is not an economic activity. It is a game of chance with extremely low probability of success. In case of success, rate of return is very high as against the low rate of returns in economic activities. Games of chance are licensed by governments.
Pyramid schemes, such MMM are scams thus fraudulent operations. It is a combination of stupidity and greed that drive it. Only the promoters and early starters would benefit. It cannot stand the test of time unlike gambling and economic activities. After MMM another pyramid scheme would resurrect and gullible Nigerians will embrace it. No government in the world would license a pyramid scheme because it is not sustainable.
It is instructive to note that post does not, in anyway endorse gambling. It is a scam because the Promoters knew before hand that, only themselves and early starters would benefit from the scheme. No Pyramid scheme can stand the test of time. MMM is not the first pyramid scheme in Nigeria and won't be the last. The country is not short of greedy and/or gullible people. Another will come and people would still lose money big time. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme#

Trut: The annoying thing about you visionleess bloggers and Nairaland miscreants is that you guys do not participate in MMM. Instead of you guys to nurture, protect and encourage the sustainance of MMM which has reduced over 20% poverty rate in the country for the past year, you poor people are supporting in the very government that brought HARDSHIP on you masses to kill MMM.
Honestly, the worst thing that will ever happen to any human is been a BLACK MAN/WOMAN, most especially Nigeria brid of BLACK. We hate good things in our lives, all we know is to kill and destroy. Unfortunately, no one can sustain what is not sustainable. The crash of MMM is a certainty, it's just a matter of time. I am yet to know of any pyramid scheme that stood the test of time. |
Politics › Re: Ondo Poll: APC Leaders Divided Over Tinubu’s Role by cosade(m): 11:39am On Dec 03, 2016 |
SillyMods: My sincere take in all of this:
1. Tinubu obviously tokk some wrong steps. E.g, openly attacking and asking APC Chairman Oyegun to resign. No matter how powerful he is or thinks he is, that was a step taken too far and also an insult on the president who is definitely the number one leader of the party by being the president.
2. Asking Oke to decamp to AD and asking his supporters to work for him (though alleged but he never denied it; and we saw how he refused to attend the grand rally and also prevented Aregbe and Ambode from attending).
3. PMB and Oyegun have equally not done enough to accommodate Tinubu on some of his needs/demands. This is what has caused mistrusts and divisions.
To remain one party, APC MUST NOT sanction Tinubu for whatever anti-party actions he has done in the past. Doing that will surely tear APC apart, no doubt. Instead, the president should invite Tinubu, Oyegun and other aggrieved party members to a meeting, table every issue causing misunderstanding and trash them out.
Any other way outside this is the highway to total implosion. Bolded: It's a well known fact that Segun Abraham was BAT's candidate in the primaries, so why would he direct Oke to join another party and not his candidate? |

NaijaMutant: You gave a judge money as a gift for burial that took place 3 years ago
God punish devil
Zombies should just queue at his house for burial gifts for past present and future burials The All Progressives Congress Legal Adviser Dr Muiz Banire (SAN) has clarified the sum of money alleged to have been given by him to a National Industrial Court judge. In a statement made available to Lawyard he said “Thank you for clarification sought. I have no official relationship with the said judge.” “I have never appeared before him in any matter and in fact, in my entire professional career. I have only recently, about month ago, appeared at the National Industrial Court for the first time before a different judge.” “I had never done a case in that court until recently. The particular judge in question is an old friend in the 90’s who only called me up some years back to seek financial assistance due to his mother’s death.” “Beyond that, I have not seen him in the last almost seventeen years. Up till this moment, I am yet to be invited on the issue by EFCC. Thank you. Dr. Muiz Banire, SAN ----------------------------------------------------------- I believe Muiz Banire in this case. We are talking of half a million naira here, this amount is paltry to influence a Judge and more so the event happened three years earlier. I also agree with the party's decision, no nexus. |

I was feeling queasy from the way Air Canada fly almost vertically for the first fifteen minutes. Its the same all over the world , their breakeven margin is very tight It's like that is the flying style in North America. The first time I flew within US, I had the same experience which was strange to me then. At a point, I was thinking we were in a rocket. Now I am used to it. Daboomb: I am interested in KNOWING what the atrocities of these Shiites, in Nigeria, are?
Where can we get information on what exactly they did in Nigeria, to warrant being shot at?
I dont like to argue from an ignorant point of view, which is what most people here are doing or using bigoted mindset to attend to issues of National interest.
Anyone with knowledge should point us to documented evidence of what they have done, so we can make independent and informed opinion about them.
Until then, we should all refrain from accusing them. These could be interest to you. However, note this post does not reflect my opinion on the issue at stake. Why pay her all the monetary entitlement and then withdraw the vehicle?
To me everything looks premeditated, as they never intended her to part with the vehicle.
Sad " Regarding the issue of the Miss Anambra vehicle, in line with clause 10 of the contract, the vehicle is an official car which the organisers reserve the right to withdraw at the end of the queen's reign." The vehicle is an official car and not a prize. |
