Agreed, I made a mistake by marrying her in the first place, but it has already happened, what do I do? I'm not foolish or careless as somebody commented above.

My brother, a lot of NLers have rightly advised you and I wish to add my voice. In as much as there is no infidelity issue, please continue to do the best you can to "upgrade" her. For the sake of your children, do not divorce.

It's not cheap to deport. The most important thing is for Nigerians to respect the laws of other countries. No one should enter any country illegally, as it would be almost impossible to legitimize one's stay as undocumented immigrant.

Someone earlier suggested that Nigeria should go to war with Libya because of this incident, this is a joke. It's almost impossible to justify going to war with any country because of "criminals".

I don't know cityhood personally, but I think it will rather be so unfair to call him a scammer.
Not every deal or sale end up smoothly.
And the fact that two, three deals went bad does not mean dealer is fraudulent.
Cityhood has been selling cars on this platform for over 3 years now and we have never heard of complaints until recently.
At a point cityhood was nauralands' no 1 most trusted car dealer.
He might not be well educated to come put up a defense on these allegations or convince nairaland auto section members as the damage to his name, brand and business has already reached an irredemmable stage, but with the little I know of this guy- I think he doesn't deserve this treatment ya'll are giving him.
There are associated risks buying stuffs online-one of which is, you won't have a feel and sight of what you want to buy until it gets delivered. I bought an infinix phone last year on jumia during black Friday. I unboxed the phone personally and gave it to my bae as a gift. The issue with the phone started with the battery, which did not last for even 3 hours with data on. Many other customers have also been complaining about jumia products as well... That does not mean jumia is a fraudulent company or all their products are bad.
And if cityhood decides to migrate to another platform to continue his business having had his name and business smeared with dirt here should be nobody's business.
He has never hidden his identity, his picture, phone number, business name and office address is always on his adverts. A deal gone bad would have been better resolved through a visit to his office for a better negotiation.
Putting up threads like this with all the name calling is totally uncalled for.

Probably you're not aware that obtaining money under false pretence is a criminal offence. This is commonly called 419 in Nigeria, a crime named after the number of the section in the Criminal Code, stating this type of fraud.

Cityhood actually obtained money under false pretence, selling cars used in Nigeria as Tokunbo, lying about the cars' mileage etc.

He is nothing, but a fraudster.

Selfish interest or not? This is good for governance. Patriotic and serious minded Nigerians should support this bill, and put pressure on PMB to sign it when eventually passed. It would also be a plus for his anti-corruption crusade.

What I have learnt from all the threads opened about Cityhood is that his 'Bobo' game is on point. The guy can sweet-tongue for Africa. He seems to have a ready made answer for every complaint, no matter how ridiculous the answer is...and one way or another he is able to convince those who bought his scraps with those answers.

I am not an authority on religious matters, however, my observation is that the Arab Christians feel more comfortable with the Shite Muslims in their countries. I really don't have an answer for this.

However, looking at the pro Christian tolerance level of the spiritual headquarters of the two groups, Iran Shites still allow native Christians to exist unlike the Saudi Sunnis. In Saudi, all her citizens are by law regarded to be Muslims and the penalty for conversion is death.

Today, there are at least 600 churches for 300,000 - 370,000 native Christians in Iran.

Christians should wake up to the lies they display on the faces. Deep inside most Muslims, they wish to encourage or force Islam on you, if possible. Even your most friendly Muslim neighbour not exempted. They are out to bastardize Western education and teachings. See any government school in Nigeria, I mean a tertiary institutions headed by a Muslim VC or provost and investigate on the recent appointments. No more strict adherence to appointment guidelines, but Salam maleku is all needed. Why won't there be a drop in quality? I guess you shall be in awe till it dawn on you that Trump's approach is really called for. Now in England, they're beginning to out number the Christians, and a first Muslim mayor won and was sworn into office in the Church. Very soon when their numbers are high enough in public offices, they shall advocate to change the laws there. Perhaps, start holding swearing processes in Mosque, based on the candidate's religion. That religion is a time bomb if no drastic measures are put in place, so that the law of the land supercede all other religious beliefs.

The Shiite felicitating with Christians in Church is a mere gimmick to get sympathy at this trying time . It's a sheer Greek gift!

That is discrimination against the Southpaws. I know many Muslims that are southpaw and they eat with their left hands. One even told me the running battles he always have with his Clerics on this issue.

No one has ever said bad thing about him for over 3years I have been following his topics on LN. We need to expose ppl like him for others to learn from our mistakes. For me, I was a victim too. It am too busy now to open a tread on how I was given a dead 2003 highlander by citihood. I paid 1.8M to citihood to deliver a car he claimed was almost toks only to be disappointed by what he delivered. I have never read any negative news here on NL about citihood and that's why I had the trust and confidence he would deliver as promised. The mileage he claimed was 146 was way far above it. The whole electrical components were not working. Fuel pump was bad. I paid him for tracking he never did it and has refused to refund me. He registered th car wrongly without engine number. In FRSC data base, the plate no is given to a V/wagen saloon car and had expired since 2013. Well, by next week I shall bring to light my whole dealings with citihood. I don't regret ever dealing with him but I want others to learn from me. I had trust on him but he disappointed.

I observed two people complained that the Engine numbers in vehicles they bought differ from what is on vehicle documents.

I also noted that another said the number plate on the vehicle sold to him was allocated to another vehicle in FRSC's records.

It is obvious that with these prima-facie evidence that this guy's intention is clear, and is simply to defraud Nairalanders.

Easy come easy go, anyone that works hard to earn money would be careful enough in dispensing the money. Cityhood has not been sincere enough and the buyer was gullible and stupid enough to have sent money to a fellow u never ascertain his integrity. Some auto dealers are pure 419 and one has to be careful.

I don't think it's about gullibility. I almost parted with a million naira for a car without physical inspection. Before coming to that point, I had checked his NL profile and observed he had made over 1,000 vehicle posts. Further check did not confirm any dubious comment on him, rather I saw two posts commending him. That gave me some confidence that I could trust him with one million naira.

The first red flag was when he lied on the car's odometer. I actually overlooked it because I thought it was an unintentional mistake and was at the point of asking for his bank account to lodge the money.

I saw another vehicle of his and decided to ask a few questions. Again, there were some misrepresentations. It was at this point I thought I cannot trust this guy with my money. When I pointed the misrepresentations to him, he resulted to braggadocio.

I called off the transaction but at that point couldn't say for sure what his intention was.

He attempted to pass off the pix of a vehicle when it was Tokunbo as the present condition of the car as a used one.

When I noticed this insecurity, I decided to call off my decision to go ahead with the Peugeot 206 Convertible car we had agreed for 1 million naira.

I am obliged to comment on this post for two reasons:
1- I was once close to buying a vehicle from cityhood.
2- The "Highlander" has been to my workshop for assessment as the OP was referred to me by GAZZUZZ.

The Op obviously has learnt his lesson and is making his experience public for others to learn.

The vehicle in question came with a non-highlander (2MZ-FE) engine amidst so many other issues as stated by the op and will cost a fortune for proper restoration. I wish the mechanic that delivered the vehicle was here to tell us how the journey was.

Subscribing to a Pre-Purchase Inspection is highly recommended for a used car purchase and also the integrity of a dealer especially on a forum like this is necessary for continued patronage.

@Cityhood, find a way to resolve your issue with the young man amicably.

I almost entrusted my money into his care!

When I noticed the inconsistencies in the pix below I decided not to go ahead with the transaction.

The pictures posted on NL were the present state of the used car but when I started asking questions, he now sent another sets of pictures, but these ones, were when the car was Tokunbo.

I pointed him to the differences in the pix but instead of apologizing and withdrawing the new set of pix, he resulted into "bone face". Of course I won't fall for that. At that point I felt something was fishy about the guy and decided not to remit money for a car I love to buy from him.
