slimshay: simple-mind you call it because you are simple-minded. when has denilson ever won man of the match in about 130 appearances for arsenal? none! he has never taken any game by the scruff of the neck. he hides. he doesn't dictate games and his number of passes is commensurate with the number of appearances. if other midfielders cop the same number of minutes than denilson, they will make more passes. that statistic is a fraud. i can understand an arsenal fan rating denilson. in the country of the blind, a cyclop like denilson is a king. |
![]() |
Ibime: barca actively seeking his signature hardly proves anything. barca actively sought after chygrnysky or whatever he's called. they were after alexander hleb, etc. denilson adds nothing to arsenal. arsenal can do without him. i will even go as far as saying emmanuel eboue is a more important player to arsenal than denilson. yes, he makes 500,000 passes per season but how many of those are sideways and backward passes. how many of those passes are more than 5 yards? certain times when fab4 is injured, the role of the creator falls on nasri's feet when he plays centrally - not denilson. denilson has no creative bone in his brazilian body. |

duduspace: this can only come out of the mouth of a tropical squirrel with poop for brains. |
![]() |
debosky: i have seen delusion of grandeur but duduspace takes the cake in chatting bunkum. denilson is shyt and will always be shyt. |
![]() |
he will be fit for arsenal. |
![]() |
debosky: thanks for admitting you are water-brained. no wonder you were writing nonsense on the chelsea thread yesterday. |
![]() |
debosky: you are discounting the fact that the rhesus monkey in question here is water-brained. by all means, a piece of sanitary towel is further up the evolutionary chain than a brainless monkey that you are |
![]() |
debosky: and i am telling you water-brained rhesus monkey there's no luck in football. |
![]() |
debosky: only idiots narrow down a team's success to luck. if united didn't make incursions in villa's box, macheda wouldn't have scored. if nani didn't beat two men on the left flank and crossing to the far post, vidic wouldn't have scored. there's no luck in football. what you put in is what you get. let's blame luck on arsenal's barren seasons for 5 years - fortune just refused to smile on wenger. how the gods of soccer must hate the french ba$tard. |
![]() |
RuuDie: about time they clear that pik loan rubbish. debosky: this statement lacks substance. when people narrow down united's work ethics to luck, it makes me smile and wonder about their level of intelligence. was it luck that took the ball from van der sar to friedel's net? instead of these idiots to give credits to fergie for sending two rookies to confuse villa's defence, they are blaming it on luck. fergie deployed chris smalling as a centre forward to hustle aerial balls with richard dunne and gooners are here saying it's via sheer luck united got two goals in the last ten minutes. the average gooner is dumb. no apologies! |
![]() |
debosky: so why make a daft comparison at first when you were always going to bring van persie's x years at arsenal into it? did van persie join arsenal at the age of 26 like chamakh?
van persie copped 8 goals and 8 assists in all competitions in fewer games - you really need to stop the chamakh cyber-fellating. he has made 18 appearances for arsenal in all competitions so it's not rocket science he's your top scorer. |
![]() |
debosky: as at nov 7 2009, van persie copped 6 goals and 4 assists before his injury against italy on the 14th of november. |
![]() |
HNIC: i believe that is because he has spent more minutes on the pitch than any arsenal striker this season or you expect van persie to be the leading scorer from the bench? nicklas from the bench? vela from reserves? |
![]() |
this chelsea loss is overrated in my opinion. any good team can be caught out on a good day and get spanked. man united almost had their asses handed to them by aston villa but for fergie's last throw of the dice. losing 0-3 at stamford bridge is not the end of the world. chelsea were without their spine(terry-essien-lampard) and drogba is fighting malaria. chelsea are still favourites to clinch the title and are still a better team than arsenal. |
![]() |
StarBoard: the team has improved. chicharito is exciting. obertan turned it on when he came on @ villa park and i think smalling will do well. fergie still has welbeck and mame diouf to come back in after their loan spells. i am not too worried. the draws will turn to wins in no time. be patient. |

chamotex: Mr_TA: get over it lads, the league is now a level playing field. some charlatans will come here and say the premier league is rubbish, it's predictable and so on and so forth but i know real zaragoza will not beat barcelona 3-0 at nou camp. i like the way the mid-table teams have stepped up a gear cos it now means victory is not guaranteed anymore. big sides have to work for it. StarBoard: considerably weakened villa side? agbonlahor? young? dunne? downing? friedel? collins? don't believe the media. villa were as strong as we know them to be.
we have no goddamn right to win every game. we got 0-0 there last season when we were good. chelsea(the best team) in the country got a draw there. the performance was horrible, i must admit but you have to remember united played 3 league games within 6 days with the last two away from home. the team is ravaged by niggling injuries and half of the team is carrying the virus.
berbatov won't return back to his blistering form until rooney gets back into the team. he is now having to play deeper to accommodate chicharito. earlier in the season, rooney was the one operating from the deep with berbatov staying in the box and getting the goals.
villa just caught us on a bad day. we were disgraceful for 80 mins. completely slaughtered and ripped apart but the last ten minutes gave me hope. i was convinced if the boys are determined to get a result, they can be unstoppable. some of the wave of attacks i saw yesterday against a very mean villa defence were oustanding. nani has to be the best winger in europe. |
![]() |
chamotex: so you actually think fergie and his players care about the unbeaten run? they wanted to win at villa park. villa's defence held with all the things united threw at them. the carnage thrown at them in the last ten minutes is the best football we have played away from home this season and friedel was in superb form. |
![]() |
Mr_TA: the squad is not as bad as people make it. we just need players to come back from injury. losing rooney and valencia has been a blow. they were one of the top performers of the league last season. we cannot buy players in january. there's a squad cap. start praying for valencia and hargreaves' quick recovery. |
![]() |
the fact is arsenal as a team create far too many chances per game. that chamakh has scored 5 league goals or 8 in all competitions hardly proves anything. ricardo fuller would have scored 10 goals in chamakh's shoes. any decent striker should be putting those chances away. adebayor(not a world class player) did wonders for arsenal in 07/08. bendtner is right feeling aggrieved about his limited involvement in the team. it's his career we are talking about here. |
![]() |
buzugee: like i said, it's the bubble-gum generation. the same set of people will tell you kanu nwankwo is more talented than segun odegbami because nwankwo won the caf player of the year and the olympic medal. |
![]() |
bxg: 2 difficult away games within a space of three days didn't help as well. i am happy we got those two draws. united played late at night on wednesday and they were the first team to play the early kick-off away from home on saturday and this is a team ravaged by niggling injuries and the virus. that united got those draws is a testament to their mental strength. chelsea got a point from the same fixtures, we got two. it's a point gained rather than two points lost. |

guddsid: fela schooled abroad. his recognition is a given. mariam makeba fled africa and was exiled in the uk/usa. the fact that she was also a political activist against south africa's apartheid means you cannot even compare to a naija-based shina peters. shina sang in his dialect, shina has sold more albums than 2face and the single fact that shina can play musical instruments makes him better than 2face can ever be to you bubble-gum generation. |
![]() |
guddsid: listen to yourself and see how your comment reeks of idiocy. majority of the awards you had up there were not in existence in the era of shina peters. one sings in dialect, the other sings in english. does that not tell you 2face will have a wider audience than shina peters. would 2face get the same recognition singing in his native dialect? ask your dad who he thinks has more substance between the two and maybe then you will appreciate sir shina peters. |
![]() |
allboyz: what are arsenal fans turning the churches into? wenger's temple? |
![]() |
lots of funny comments in here. my 2 cents. . . .shina peters is a legend. his afrojuju album was reported to be the first yoruba album to hit platinum status in 89/90 circa. he is an instrumentalist, way different to the new generation artistes who know nada about instruments. i cannot really comment on his "2face is empty" rant because he might have been taken out of context by some trouble-brewing journalists. if he meant 2face has no substance in terms of projecting african music and tradition in the real sense, he's got a point. |

debosky: i doubt this. you are always given the option of putting badges or not. 6 quid for the badges or no badges. even if arsenal do it per badge, why would it make sense to add one badge when epl teams wear 2 badges on their sleeves? people who customise shirts do it 100% not half baked. the dude in the yellow shirt is wearing a fake shirt. i am 100% sure. |
![]() |
debosky: of course, they don't but the guy in the pic is wearing an epl badge on his shirt, which means he is not wearing the cl shirt. cl shirts don't carry epl badges, they carry the champions league insignia and it's one badge on the right sleeve. |
![]() |
debosky: they have been selling the fake shirts in nigeria since may 2010. the guy in yellow was wearing the fake one, it has one epl badge on it's sleeve, it should be two or none. |
![]() |
ibro911: if you think you are being ripped off, why don't you start your own business and sell at the rate at which you buy them. omagames is not a charitable organization. they are there to make profit while providing quality service to their customers. you shot yourself in the foot comparing amazon prices with the prices on the high streets. if you think you are being robbed, dust your visa, buy a ticket to the ukk/usa, buy your game and go back to nigeria. |
![]() |
the last few pages have been mad funny but i can conclude this. -arsene wenger is a hypocrite -arsenal are the dirtiest team in the league. -gael clichy is finished as a left back defender. |
![]() |
dayokanu: it was a one-off season and other players chipped in. rooney scored 18, tevez scored 19 and ronaldo scored 42. it wasn't only ronaldo's goals that got united through that season. the defence was also outstanding. one can have a brilliant super duper striker scoring freely and still miss championships a la thierry henry of arsenal 2005-2007 or ronaldo of last season in real madrid. |
