European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Cougar: 10:06pm On May 30, 2008
@ eldee,

arsene wenger has got his work cut out next season. he will be under massive pressure if he doesn't win any title next season so i expect him to take one(probably the carling cup). you guys need to chill and stop jangling your nerves. you can forget about the premiership, fa cup and the champions league but u should nick the league cup. cheesy

Dyabman's post is the most interesting thing I have ever read on this thread

Usually the vocabulary veers towards pillock-spew-desert eagles and such nonsense.
interesting stuffs. from what i can deduce here, simpletons thrive on this forum because they have a listening/reading audience who cheer them. what a life. the degree of the social decadence is alarming. moderator, i think it's about time u sanitise this place. get rid of morons who writes gibberish and the audience who cheer.

Fact is i can't be on all threads at the same time . and reading that post there is nothing wrong with it. .

Members will report posts they feel they were attacked on

Lol . your assumption is soo wrong . . grin . . grin it makes me laugh grin

We have gone offtopic too much already . ciao.

Someone created a thread on moderator on sports . .you can post your grievance there
don't get me irritated with your defense. a moderator should know when to delete provocative comments that may spark fights. u do not wait for members to report to u before u delete threads that are being recycled. why do u now need members to report comments before u can delete them? we are not going off-topic, mod. i am just asking u a simple question why u allow senseless posts to thrive on threads.

Before i came on . all this people replied him. They should have ignored him or better yet reported the post.
in other words, unless members report the moderator cannot discern herself that some comments are ludicrous or senseless. this is interesting.

whats that about? huh Nairaland is a forum where everyone is allowed to express their views as long as the views expressed are within the rules and regulations of the forum.
i see.

can u tell us what the above drivel has to do with this thread? in ur rules, it was clearly stated there shall be no off-topics. i will so much appreciate if you show consistency when enforcing your laws.
SportsRe: The Game Hates Manchester United by Cougar: 3:19pm On May 30, 2008
game hates man united? Why won't everyone hate ferguson's boys. people are getting bored of man utd winning everything in this country.
they wanna see changes but no manager has been able to break fergie's hold/dominance in the english league. it's not by coincidence that no english club has ever won the champions league. all hail sir alex.

what amuses me is how the sports moderator allows fleabags like dyabman to roam freely on this sports section. i suggest a proper brain-check should be done for all the schmuks running around this zone. how come? congratulations to all the man utd fans in the house. more success shall follow this.

is this true? alexander hleb is buying out the final 2 years of his contract for 3 million??
as much as i cannot stand arsenal, hleb is one player i admire.
is arsenal crumbling as a club?
TravelRe: United States Of America Vs United Kingdom by Cougar: 9:26am On Mar 31, 2008
united kingdom rocks!!!

london is 500000 times better than america. there are so many other factors that places london higher on the rung than america. i have been to american and i wasn't really impressed by what i saw. the whole place is a joke .

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 5:48pm On Feb 02, 2008
@ debosky,
the man in black has been pathetic. he has given spurs all the decisions. we are not getting anything at all. oh my god, ronaldo shouldn't have squared the free-kick to rooney. what is going on? tevez-ronaldo-anderson-nani-wazza. man utd is about throwing away the record at white hart lane. this is catastrophic.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 5:39pm On Feb 02, 2008
@ debosky,
relax your nerves. man utd will come back. just one goal and its advantage man utd. where the goal will come from, i dont know. anderson is making things happen. spurs have been superb.

@ pataki,
this is not as pathetic as the game arsenal lost 5-1 to the same team on the same ground. at this stage in the game, arsenal had conceded four goals.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 5:11pm On Feb 02, 2008
@ jackal,
i am not happy. we were too static in the middle of the pack in the first 45. we haven't really worked spurs' keeper. i hope carrick sits and allow scholes to roam and do the damage. this time last year, it was 4-0 to man utd.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 5:03pm On Feb 02, 2008
it is imperative man u wins this game. good tactical change by ferguson. hargreaves out, carrick in. come on red devils. knock the gunners out of the top position.

@ chacal,
thank u. i can see it's a circus here. it seems i don't belong to this habitat. chacal is cougar campaign is really gaining popularity. i will try and check back later when we can have a decent debate. have a fun-filled feast.

@dr ferlie,
ban cougar? why? i didn't force this drama on jackal. some sports member did. i am online now and he is online and some people think we are the same.
let people say what they want to say. whatever rocks their boat.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 9:47pm On Jan 28, 2008
@ dayokanu,
this is ridiculous. you zealots are still on cougar=jackal equality. this is delusion at it's very best. its like seeing white and calling it green. u even know how many times i post on sports. dayo, do u work for the fbi?

@ jackal,
well done. west london residents are idiots, right? u stay in london as well so why do u support the red devils? it's not about the distance and i am no plastic fan. i dont really know how to cyber-diss(i wish i could). do u still want us to kontinue the ferguson selection debate or not? cheesy cheesy cheesy
p.s. i will only enter this debate if you can assure me there will be no strong language. agreed?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 2:30am On Jan 28, 2008
@ jackal,
please desist from trading such vile words. come on man. dont let anyone rile u, man. there's no point stooping this low to prove a point. let them say what they like. i am signing off. lets continue our banter tomorrow. cheers. cheesy
SportsRe: Nigeria V Benin Rep. Wld It Be Worth Watching? I'm Heart Broken by Cougar: 2:17am On Jan 28, 2008
@ vieira,
nigeria can still qualify. remember canada '87? we qualified with a win, a draw and a loss and lost the final via penalty shoot-out. never lose hope.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 1:58am On Jan 28, 2008
@ chacal,
are u trying to be rude? what postcode are u repping? leave west london lads out of this. what is the sense in juggling the midfield at the expense of points/results? we shouldn't have lost to the hammers and bolton if ferguson wasn't playing roulette. arsenal plays same personnel everytime unless one of them is injured/suspended. why cant ferguson do the same with man united? saha's injury has been a blessing in disguise. that has forced ferguson to play ro-te-ro. if saha was fit, ferguson would have played him to the team's detriment. these players earn money. let them sweat for it. cheesy
SportsRe: Berti Vogts Must Go by Cougar: 1:50am On Jan 28, 2008
berti vogts should be retained. he is a world class manager. the nfa should work with him and ensure adequate preparation next time.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 1:36am On Jan 28, 2008
@ chacal,
i wouldn't go that far. cheesy cheesy lets just take each game one at a time. we have a nagging selection problem in the central midfield. scholes, anderson, carrick and hargreaves. ferguson does not know the best combination and he keeps juggling them everytime. i think scholes and carrick complement each other and the newbies(anderson & owen) provide a wonderful cohesion in the middle of the pack. fergie should stick to that and stop playing roulette with the boys.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 1:21am On Jan 28, 2008
@ chacal,
holland park is where i rest my head at. cheesy cheesy cheesy it's just between shepherd's bush and nottinghill gate. why are u so legendary on this forum? did u see the game this afternoon? i think ronaldo might bag forty goals plus this season and surpass ruud's record in 2002/03.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 1:08am On Jan 28, 2008
@ jackal,
where have u been? u got everyone on sports saying cougar is jackal. it shows how judgemental some people can be. cougar/jackal are brothers. jackal is cougar's father and all the prattle u can hear only from the mentally-ill. anyways, welcome back. don't do a runner again. cheesy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 8:50pm On Jan 27, 2008
@ tboy81,
i say lets meet arsenal now at the emirates and give them a game. i fear small opposition these days. they tend to force ferguson's hands to play disparate players together. strong opposition will compel fergie to play a strong team. fergie's strong team means one thing:emphatic victory! cheesy
bring on arsenal.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 7:54pm On Jan 27, 2008
manucho is sheer class. he will be great aerially for man utd.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cougar: 7:08pm On Jan 27, 2008
manucho goncalves is proving to be a good bargain. what a header from the big man? i was getting impatient until he powered that header past tony sylva. i hope he gets his work permit issues cleared off and start making ronaldo's cross count. two goals already in a poor angolan side. manucho is flying.
