PoliticsRe: We Won’t Allow Hijab In Kwara Mission Schools - CAN Insists by Cousin9999: 11:17am On Mar 07, 2021
tbh Seeing women wear a hijab seems so oppressive. You can't compare it to a nun because they choose that. And not every nun dresses that way.

It just seems fundamentally wrong to do this to women. I don't see how parents are comfortable putting these things on a child. What do they tell them when they do it? Do they tell them something is wrong with them and they must wear it? Do they fill the child's head with all kinds of nonsense about gender and sin? What about when the daughter plays sports? Yes they have sports hijabs, but that's still inappropriate and limiting.

It's a soft form of attacking the dignity and humanity of women and young women. Women and girls should be free to be who they are and express that, and live full lives. They don't need to walk around with a tablecloth draped over them.

And hijabs are so ugly. They really are. Why put that on a woman? If you believe in a creator, then did it make her to be hidden away, or for her to be another beautiful expression of creation?

This isn't new information.

Furthermore,

The custom of wearing labrets has a long tradition. Labrets appeared independently several thousand years ago in various culture groups in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
SportsRe: Isreal Adesanyo Loses UFC259 Fight Against Jan Blachowicz by Cousin9999: 8:26am On Mar 07, 2021
hayoholla:
I was worried before the fight, I knew Izzy won't have it easy. Jan has a big build and is a bit taller than Izzy prev opponents like Costa and Romero even with big body build. Jan's grappling also worried me, because it us an important edge over Izzy, and it sure did. Well Izzy now knows what the LHW division is made off. Tbh, he tried, to go that extent loosing to Jan by unanimous decision. He can have a edge next time tho. I am still pained by the loss embarassed
Izz is taller.

And better looking, gets more girls, and makes more money.

goatgoat093:
The fight was a mismatch from the onset, a classic case of power vs technique, and sheer physical strength won at the end more than anything else. Adesanya will surely rebound stronger from this but he should fight within his weight category abeg.
Power and weight aren't the same thing. Jan is fat. lol

KosiGee:
It was a power vs technique. Jan is bigger, stronger and more powerful. Izzy is known for his technique, speed and intelligence but he failed to apply those in this fight.

Congrats to Blachowicz.
If Jan was that powerful and strong, he would have dropped Izz. He didn't. In fact, he was gassed by the end of the third and resorted to sitting on Izz or leaning on him.
SportsRe: UFC 259: Adesanya Vs Blachowicz SATURDAY 10PM EST by Cousin9999(op): 7:27am On Mar 07, 2021
Jan is fat as ____ and basically sat on Izz and tapped him while pretending to fight. Apparently, the judges think that deserves points. I thought they stopped rewarding that scam.

But Izz isn't used to fighters at this weight. He needs to use bigger guys in training. It's not like he doesn't have the skill and strength. He's just not used to sumo wrestlers.

https://foreignpolicy.com/2017/07/24/the-harsh-reality-of-being-african-in-india-race-violence-college-students/

In March, not far from her neighborhood, a roving mob beat up a number of African students in multiple attacks. Some of the violence was captured on a widely circulated video of Indian men storming into a local shopping mall, kicking and punching a black man, and thrashing him with metal trashcans and stools. The severely injured victim, a young Nigerian, survived, but Okoyeegbe and many other Africans in the area feared enough for their safety to remain indoors for several days, in some cases weeks.
The past few years have seen several clashes between the locals and an expatriate African population of about 40,000 by some estimates, many of them students. In 2013, a minister in the state government of Goa was criticized for referring to Nigerians as a “cancer.” The following year, a mob assaulted a group of young men from Gabon and Burkina Faso in New Delhi — an attack posted on YouTube. In January 2016, Indians and Africans alike were appalled again when a Tanzanian student was pulled out of a car, beaten, and partially stripped in the southern Indian city of Bangalore. She was allegedly targeted by an irate mob after an intoxicated Sudanese student ran his car over a couple, killing the woman and injuring the man. The Tanzanian student didn’t even know the Sudanese driver. She and her friends had only driven through the accident site and inquired about the earlier incident. The police confirmed that she was presumed to have been involved with the crime, simply because she was African.
The 25-year-old Nigerian student came to India from the state of Ebonyi in 2013. Since arriving, he has been mocked, stared at, and called racial slurs like kalu, a Hindi word that translates to “blacky,” and habshi, a derogatory term for people of African origin, which has its roots in Arabic.
He has run through eight houses in the last four years. “I pay my bills and rent on time. I keep my house clean.” When he asked the owner of an apartment why he suddenly had to vacate, Alagba says the landlord told him that “tenants complained that their culture forbade them from living with blacks.”
“Landlords have always overcharged them. What is new, and especially disturbing, is, first, the level of police harassment, of which there is anecdotal evidence, on the pretext of combating drug peddling and prostitution and, second, the increasing tendency for some Indians to resort to violence.”
Today, Okoyeegbe regrets her journey eastward. “My dream was to study medicine. In Africa, India is known for medicine,” she says. “Many Africans travel abroad for medical treatment. I thought, ‘Why not go to India, get the knowledge and a correlation with Indian doctors so that Nigerians don’t have to travel to get basic health care?’”

Now, the only thing keeping her in Greater Noida is her coursework, which she is on schedule to complete by next year, and her tenure abroad is tinged with bitterness. “I can never let anyone I love take a flight to India and live here,” she laments. “I wouldn’t even advise my enemy to live here.”

Since 2018 I think. The trailer looked lit. But I was surprised there wasn't any hype for it at all or media coverage. It just fizzled out.

I've checked Nollywood Download sites all to no avail. undecided

The trailer looked so good. I'm wondering if it was just a short film to attract investment and other projects.

But these same demons are making a movie about a black man betraying Garvey.

Ukraine is regarded as a slum by just about every nation and ethnicity in the world. It's mostly known in the west as a hub for criminal activity, and a place for old white men to buy a young white wife.

People visit Nigeria regularly as a vacation. It's regarded as fun and rich in culture. European women like visiting for the chance at romance with some young, fit, handsome local guy.

No one vacations in Ukraine. It's a toilet. No women are checking for Ukrainians.

https://www.ozy.com/around-the-world/why-sub-saharan-african-immigrants-to-american-are-the-most-educated/349123/
In fact, according to data collated by the Migration Policy Institute from the Census Bureau and American Community Surveys:

40 PERCENT OF IMMIGRANTS TO THE U.S. FROM SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA HOLD AT LEAST A BACHELOR’S DEGREE

That’s compared to 31 percent for the country’s overall foreign-born population and 32 percent for those born in the U.S. Nigerians and South Africans are the most highly educated, with 61 percent and 58 percent, respectively, holding at least an undergraduate degree.
She says that Ghanaians, for instance, have a sense of community that often insulates them from distractions, and keeps them busy in churches and classrooms.

Hey, I've heard about liquid amino (soy sauce substitute) before, but I've finally decided to give it a try. I'm skeptical because I've seen the effect of bad soy sauce, so I hope it's not like that.

I'll report back.

I really want to stop giving Asians money, and liquid amino is something anyone can produce inexpensively and easily. I would love to see us stop using soy sauce and rock with liquid amino (which is healthier), and produce our own brands.
