Thank you for this update
[Qquote author=Jefa4real post=60892096]
Straight to the point.
Essays alone are not responsible for the invite. CVs, transcripts, WASSCE, International passport and several other documents are mandatory for being shortlisted. If successful, you get to write a test before being invited for an interview, the test is 100% SHL verbal and numerical reasoning. From then on, successful candidates are invited to PORTHARCOURT for an Interview with TOTAL's international and local HR and education team.
ABOUT THE ESSAYS
1. Go online and begin searching on how to write a good scholarship motivational statement. 2. Read as much tips and examples you can find; internalise them and then practise writing your own essays. 3. If you do this, it would help you present a compelling argument at your interview, because a genuine and well-written essay leads you to self discovery. 4. Go and dust your WASCCE english essay notes and recall the rules of COEMA: coherence, organisation, expression, and mechanical accuracy. 5. Let your essay communicate your passion for the program and the country, a description of your suitability for the course shown by tangible evidence in your professional and academic achievements, a clear post-study career plan and a commitment to use your training to contribute to the development of your country, Maximum of 1000 words used judiciously should help you deliver.
Simple as this guide is, following it would help you put in a winning application. Na overconfidence they kill pass.[/quote] |

Bros, did you really read what he wrote? He said * everyone who was awarded the LSS were all contacted*... So whoever among the LSS that is not contacted, definitely isn't awarded or successful. Magicc: You are too confident about your assertions, but they are not all correct. Not all LSS scholars were contacted. |

Both Sumonu and Aborisade taught me back then at the department.
I believe Aborisade carry more supporter than sumonu...
Sumonu just came back to rejoin.
Concerning the news, this is a great development for OAU students, to cover up for backward academic calendar. |

Great!!! Love is so great... Hatred is too much a burden to bear... We all need to embrace love. Onogiede: A lot of youths today are blamers. They are haters. They are not employable. A lot of us are not fit for marriage. A lot of us are not fit to be parents. Majority of us are not fit to be leaders in the society. A lot of us attended secondary and tertiary institutions but yet uneducated. How did we get to this point. Tribalism, nepotism, bigotry, corruption, self centeredness, hatred, aggression, non contentment and inferiority complex. How can grow and live beyond all these aforementioned? Simple: *Love more *Hate less *Be selfless *Read more *Listen more *Give more Be a love ambassador. Do not join in the broadcast and promotion of hate. It will do no good to all of us. No one has monopoly of violence. War is just a three letter word but capable of bringing down a powerful nation like Nigeria. Good night guys. |

Sigh!!! flexisafsupport: Hello, Kindly be informed that the calls that were made to some applicants were in no way a signal for shortlisting. We had some issues confirming some information which is why we had to make the calls.
We are simply trying to clear the air such that people who have not received similar phone calls would not feel like they have been rejected
Sincerely, FlexiSAF Support Team |

Education › Re: 2017/2018 PTDF Scholarship Scheme (Overseas And Local) by Crane1: 11:51pm On Jul 08, 2017 |
Amen to this bro... God should intervene for those who really burn their candles at both ends. wo1F: Sadly the exam as it were, was deeply compromised, mostly the English part. Peeps have no idea just how bad it was. I saw folks looking up words on Google with their smartphones, people copying those words out for their friends in the next batch to study and I'm thinking wtf? Don't these kids understand what they're here for Then the grand compromise was the highly appalling & regrettable leak of the questions before hand to some persons. Make no mistakes about it, the exam we wrote today leaked. I feel sorry for flexisaf. But they showed why multinationals prefare to go with Dragnet. In all my time writing dragnet tests there has never been any incident of alleged exam leak. Also you dare not take your wallet into the hall muchless your phones. Lastly they have a robust question bank that no two candidates answer the same set of questions. Flexisaf really bungled this. It would have been a fair contest had the process provided a level playing ground for all. My prayer is that God still finds a way to reward all who genuinely prepared and wrote the exams without seeking undue advantages to get ahead. God bless us all |
