Omo e gba mi o!!!  embarassed

I just noticed I have committed one of the biggest offences in CICOLOGY; last Thursday before I left for my small vacation in Antwerp (Belgium) I prepared my selling mandate for UTC but for unexplainable reason I forget to send the mail.
I was just updating my portfolio now when I realized that the UTC mail is still pending.
The thing don waka from about 42% profit to about 28% today.

Which kin wahala bi this now? If I say make I re-send the mandate now, before that my (Ajebo) broker could sell the thing maybe another 10% go still commot

Abegi my people make I still send the selling order or una think say better still dey for this okro soup?

I issued sale mandate for my UBA and FCMB, I don tire for now, I'll get back in them later, for now, even if the money earns 25% it'll be way better than what they've earned me the past 3mths, -5% grin
I have the same problem myself, really don't know what is wrong with all the banks stocks

I have about 40% of my portfolio in Fidelity stock bought at 11.30 since July last year before TS thinking after TS the plane go move but the thing just dey dance one step forward 2 backward since dem lift the almighty TS.

It's 11.75 today I thing I go just commot for the "keke elemu" jare.  (palmy bike)  grin

ojukokoro lo n worry e (na longer throat dey worry u  grin)

u obviously didnt set an exit point on a stock i am almost certain u bought for CICO puposes (abi i lie?  grin).

have u noticed it is slowly getting harder to make even the proverbial promised land of 25% lately? the market is overbloated and u are wondering if u should sell after 35% profit post charges? ole ole ole!!!  grin  cheesy. You know i am only kidding i hope. i don't mean to be disrespectful at all.

seriously, no one can ever predict the market, it is fickle and is promiscous. ie she is not like a faithful wife, she(the NSE) will leave u at the exact time u think all is going well with your relationship with her.
For all u know the same UTC could lose 20-30% of its value in the next few weeks, especially if this rise has been manufactured.

Once u've hit a comfortable target, sell and move on, close your eyes to any further gain, u don chop your own, that way u defeat that feeling in your gut called GREED aka the green eyed monster.

just my opinion though but what do i know.
Omo cool down now this your hand too much o jare  grin DJ and Yemi go chop now. You come turn me to "wonbiliki wobia"

I thought you witness the signing of the treaty by FO2 that CICO is 0-3months and anything inbetween.
Na 3 weeks ago I buy the thing and e don skyrocket.

Thank God for a newly discovered theory sha i.e. I have noticed that anytime my instinct tells me to sell a stock and ask opinion about it here on Nairaland, that same day the stock will starts depreciating. UTC proved it today.

So to whom it may concern 320kg UTC for sell going! going!! GONE sold to the man in the centre with Man U T-shirt  grin grin grin

cool

Is kind of hard to make good money with stock if you don’t have good money
The problem is not about good money but the fact that you are busy doing something no matter how little like what Napoleon Hill says:

"Do not wait; the time will never be "just right." Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along."

@ Pumping777, upward, Mr. Risky, RoughCut, yodiyokun, Easimoni, Wanaj0, W. Wendy, Aktopgun (MIA) and other gurus and guguru's

Hey guys I need your help here, I am undecided on what to buy. I have tons of cash with my broker for more than 2 weeks now, but still don’t know what to buy.

I guess it’s my newly acquired knowledge that is disturbing me, previously to my new knowledge on Nairaland I just jump into stocks without reading fundamentals or do any technical analysis; I just enter into stocks based on my own personal sentiments.
I was the one that bought Afroil and Capoil (based on the fact that the names carries OIL) I was able to made more than 3000% each on the stocks.

Nowadays I have to check and double check before I make a move; I guess ignorance sometimes do have its positive side.

Here under are the stocks I am contemplating to enter;
Livestock,
Tourist and Co,
G. Cappa
These are the one I was planning to increase my takes in;
Unic,
Union Homes,
Dunlop

So gurus (my teachers) and guguru’s (my class mates) what is your opinion on this my dilemma
