easimoni:
Based on my (short) history in this market, it appears the forwards EPS (and thus PE) is the best way to predict underpriced stocks. At current conditions, a PE of 20 is a reasonable way to forecast future price. The report Emaachile posted at the top says the market average is 24. (not sure if it's arithmetic or weighted)

If you calculate the forward EPS of say M Benefit to be 25K (I came up with 24k) then a reasonable target is N5.00 as shigidi rightly pointed out.

On the other hand, due to all the additional shares C&I sold, their forward EPS is 22K, therefore you can target N4.40.

M Benefit is now N3.25, C&I is N5.50, which would you buy?  grin
Easimoni, I really don't know how to pray for you and the other dudes in the house.
You can’t believe this, I called my broker this morning and instructed her to acquire some C & I for me, I just came back from where I went to send the money (western Union), I was about to call her and give the control number when I thought of checking the net first and re-read more about C & I and to my ultimate surprise I read this thread about Mbenefit.

Men! My calling her now is to change to Mbenefit immediately.

Thanks again guys and God bless.

hey, crazyT, do you have any info on Dunlop? i'm interested in the stock - is your recommendation based on fundamentals, market sentiment or some news from the grapevine?
My recommendations are based on 2 different ideologies i.e. "news from grapevine" and ,  (I'll keep that one to myself) But if you think I am just a joker (don't take to my advise) but don't forget to write down those stocks I mentioned and check them out in November. Have you noticed Guinea Ins already? That is the beginning.

I have asked this question earlier with no responce, now the question again
What's your take on Capital Oil?

I have about 200k units (bought @ 0.33kobo) and still planning to double it (if it's available) but I have not read anything about it on this thread yet.

I have the feeling that the future is bright with Capital Oil. Or am I just dreaming?

Is it that they don't have enough money to maintain that site or have they changed the address? If you have any idea please let me know, that site was very useful to me in my share dealings.
Thank God for this message at first I thought my internet was acting up or I miss-typed there address, I hope they come back on time o, because they are my source of information.

Ojukwu_rsg:
Egoldman,

You failled that ABC is facing stiff competition on the West Africa route by Chisco Transport, another reliable transport company. Chisco offers more flexibilty on this lucrative route (LAG-ACC) than ABC. Recently ABC staff have become a little reckless in handling their responsibility resulting in their being delayed at the boarder crossing. A case was recorded just two weeks ago when ABC was delay for 4 hours at Togo/Benin boarder enroute Nigeria for carry banned goods. They could not even "settle" and had to ask the passengers to contribute money for settlement. They were further delayed at Benin/Nigeria boarder for the same reason.

The regulated speed of ABC is not and advantage. 80km/h is rather too slow for this long route. Chisco is doing much better at say 100 km/hr and they have good safety records too.

Finally most road traveller's don't like booking in advance for their journey. The next time I travel home from ghana, I planned to use Chisco or some other commercial cars plying the route.

The point am noting is that ABC has not great advantage over the other vehicles plying the road.
Cheers
But your favourite CHISCO is not listed on the NSE.

@ Aporo

My friend you are on the right path to make good money come December, just mark my word.

As for me and my house ABC Transport is our NR 1 stock for this period in time,  grin

My advise will be:
Niglamp (although the volumes are not much but if you can drop some cash with your broker, he/she can start getting them little by little)
Dunlop
Vanleer
GUINEAINS

If you are able to get any of these stocks then you'll thank me later (don't ask me how I pick my stocks)

My previous advise on stocks:
Afroil was 0.42kobo and later got to 9 naira plus, Lasaco  was 1.20kobo got to 4.80, Capital Oil  was 33kobo and is now 0.58, Afprint  was 0.98kobo and now 4.25.

So feel free to take to my advise or reject it, afterall it's just an advise.

Bottom line is Jimoh is simply spitting out vitriol (my spell check is back on wink ). All 3 of them are billionares and no one ( not even Jimoh) has the full financial picture of Dangote. No need to get personal and call peeps "illiterates" because they owe banks money. I have money to pay my current mortgage but I chose to invest it the NSE instead and I'm up >100% since Jan. Am I an illiterate? Pay-off a debt at 6% or invest it at 100+%. It doesn't take a PhD to ansah (this silly spell-check again) that question! There's a time to borrow and time to pay back.

First thing first, read and re-read what  DARKBEAUT wrote in this thread and then this one (under) from CUTIEPIE and add this common saying to it:
