IslamRe: Why Do Muslim Guys Prefer To Date Christians Girls? by crazyT(m): 9:24pm On Nov 16, 2007
Because the Muslim guys wants more converts to Islam and getting more babies through that is another option.
Don't forget that Muslims are allowed to marry many wives so after the Xtian wife, they will then go back for Adijat, Aminat, Kuburat etc

@Wanaj0 and other Guru's

Based on the released result of Fidelity Bank, is it advisable to bail out immediately after TS? Fidelity it's about 45% of my portfolio, I bought at 10.60.

I'll like to turn the table around and makes Insurance coy 50% of my portfolio (it’s about 10% now)

FoodRe: Amala And Gbegiri Lovers` Forum by crazyT(m): 1:51am On Nov 12, 2007
Hey guys! Can you all just be considerate enough and stop all this Amala stories?  grin grin

Don't get me wrong I love amala to a fault but the last time I smell (not to talk of eat) Amala and gbegiri last was about 7 years ago.
Can you believe that the pizza and coca cola I was planning to eat before reading all this amala stories now looks like sand and water now?
How I wish I could run (about 6000 km) down to Shitta or White house Sabo now and grab Amala with gbegiri, goat meat, bokoto and orisirisi. Men! I really miss Nigeria.

Gbam! You put it right and to add to it, some Nigerian women are raised (brought up) to respect their husband and some of these ladies see "carrying of shopping bags" as disrespecting to their husband. BTW is the said woman complaining to you?

well i think the naira is gaining back the values we must commend the cbn governor and the federal goverment
My friend, how did you come to that conclusion? Naira is not gaining value it's the American Dollars that is losing value. Just try and compare Naira to the Euro or pounds then you'll know the reality of things.

TV/MoviesRe: How Much Do TV Writers Earn Per Episode? by crazyT(m): 8:11pm On Nov 08, 2007
You just have to set your budget and don't you ever go above it, Crew members are the worst people in productions, they are never satisfied. They will always complain, so fix your budget and stick to it.
TV/MoviesRe: How Much Do TV Writers Earn Per Episode? by crazyT(m): 8:00pm On Nov 08, 2007
Sleekymag and Krisbobo are both right, the reason been the fact that there are many factors that determine things in Nollywood.
First is the budget of the production, if the budget it’s big and it’s known to all the crew then they all will demand big.

2nd is the bargaining power of the writer, if the writer know how to sell himself to the producer or the producer is a novice in the industry. Then the writer will or can demand more than his or her normal fee.

The third one has everything to do with the second factor; your bargaining power comes from how experience you are too, if you have made names for your self in the industry (that is) you have written some blockbusters, then you will demand more. For example you can not pay Emem Isong the same money you'll pay a new writer etc

But everything still come down to the fact that things are not regulated in Nollywood, individuals determine their own fees.

So what you are saying in a nutshell is the time factor? But Flour Mills carry weight o 80 bucks!!! This means one needs to really consider the two i.e. the price and the time factor and chose the best alternative.

@ Wanaj0

I have this question for you, this is based on the fact that I have noticed (on this thread) that you are good at jumping out of a ship before it wrecked, so when is it advisable for me to dispose my CAPOIL shares? I set my target at 300% (based on scarcity) but now that the stock is on his way to 400% without any fundamental do I bail out now or still wait to ride the bull knowing fully well that the stock is not liquid.

spikedcylinder:
Yes, I can't agree more! The christian God, and the muslim one are very different beings.
The christian God is very manipulative, inconsistent and hypocritical.
The muslim God is quite violent and has severe punishments for both forgivable and unforgivable crimes against him and mankind.

They possibly can't be the same person!
Don't you think you are going too far by abusing the God some people called Holy? Though you have your own right to say what you feel or think but not to the detriment of another man's GOD

debosky:
May his soul rest in peace

I think too many people are being hasty in their judgment here.

The man had a terminal illness, the CMD of LUTH came out and said he is being given the best treatment available now, and it would be detrimental to his health to fly him out. We should wait for the results of the autopsy and the verdict of the LUTH medical team before blaming government.

Stella Obasanjo died abroad, does that mean that they do not have sound medical facilities there?

Sometimes due to the nature of an illness, there is little that can be done to remedy the outcome.

Flying him abroad will not necessarily solve the problem instantly, people die of cancer in foreign countries as well.
Once again, let us remember the man and his achievements for the nation, and not turn this to another blame game session.

My point exactly!

grin  My friend Seun, you ask for advice and that is what you get, don't forget that advice is an opinion or recommendation offered as a guide to action. So what you need to do now is to take action, you can't eat your cake and still have it; so it's either this way or that way.
SportsRe: Coach Yemi Tella Is Dead!!! by crazyT(m): 4:10pm On Oct 20, 2007
Who is government? I thought we are all government, how are we so sure that he will survive the illness even if he was send (earlier) to the abroad we are all talking about? Where did Stella OBJ die?
Why is it that when people died, we always want to look for someone to blame; this time around is not witches but government.
I beg na him time reach our own is at the corridor may his gentle soul rest in peace. Death is inevitable.   cry cry

Is Yar' Adua going nut? How on earth can a sane man increase anything at all by 200%? How on earth is he going to justify the increment? The problems this increment will cause will be too much for him to handle.
Because “if sand is too much inside gari, blind man will see it”. Niger Delta wahala is not curtailed yet, he wants to add the whole nation to it.

It is not a liquid stock. How many shareholders do they have? That's why you have limited deals and few units being traded. Placed an order over 5 months ago but yet to get a single unit to BUY.
Same with me I place and order about 6months ago for 500k units was able to get only 140k @0.33, guess it's time to bail out or NOT?
TV/MoviesRe: Must We Produce All Episodes Of Our Sitcom At Once? by crazyT(m): 1:59pm On Oct 18, 2007
@ Seun, I agree with you 100%, my arguement is based on the fact that I am filmmaker with more than 20years experience in TV production I think am qualified to tell you that no production is done without a TV pilot; this are test episodes (about 3 episodes of an intended TV series) This is used to discover whether an entertaining concept can be successfully realized. You should see it as prototypes of the production.
You don’t expect advertising companies to go through the whole 13 episodes; the most important thing they want to know is if you have the story to sustain the 1st 13 episodes.

So Seun you are right not to want to go for the whole 13 episode, because if your story lines are okay and the plot of the 1st three episodes really goes according to the script, it’s the advertising company that will be running after you guys.

Zeb Ejiro did the same with most of his soaps; I remember when Nigeria breweries gave him about 28million Naira after seeing only 2 episodes of his soap series.  Despite the fact that his name (Zeb Ejiro) carries weight, NB still need to see the pilots first before committing themselves to the production.
