Abeg, who be your broker? That will help me to deduce what the problem might be. Did your broker take the forms to CHAMShuh

I know for a fact that CHAMS got a N5bn cheque from UBA before the start of the offer!!
Partnership investment is my broker and I guess they submit the form at UBA. I was made to believe that their Oga even tried to pay more in other for them to pass the  PP through but all to no avail. Hope that helps.

BTW, whats your take on this Capoil, Afroil palava?
Because I get hand and leg for inside o, my Capoil has gain about 4000% (through, I have cash in my initial investment and small profit last year, based on your advise then) same goes for Afroil.

Guess it's time to say goodbye wink Abi?

CHAMS PP

I got a mail today from my broker about the chams PP, here under is piece of the mail

, I am very sorry to tell you this but chams returned the forms we sent, they(chams) said they've realised all the money they wanted before the offer because some groups bought them out so in order to avoid paying interest on un-allotted shares.

I am glad my money was not kept for months before they returned it.
I guess this confirm what Napoleon and Wanaj0 were saying concerning PP's

Transcorp has crossed the N4 barrier today with almost 5% gain (6th day on a roll)  and the only news on Transcorp for now is about the Nitel (which is not positive) or are we missing something here?

Mr. Risky:
ahhhh I see.  Then, for you to be able to pay good bride price, UTC and FA prices will have only way - NORTH, NORTH. Afterall, una fit roof una house with FA and supply your kitchen with UTC,  I like your plansooooo.  Hope that will not stop you from seeing us here in Nairaland.  I hear say some de take their dividend de marry.  That na another tori grin grin grin grin
I no dey use UTC and FA do marriage o, after the fight I had with that woman yesterday na fresh money I need to use i.e. "Aunty Juli" money (long term)
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by crazyT(m): 4:57pm On Feb 12, 2008
@ AKTOPGUN

Thanks for the warning, CICO keh! CICO will not be enough for marriage now and the wedding is not really planned for this year unless something (good) happen earlier than planned, then the invitation card will come your way this year.

@ Wanaj0

Thanks for the advise on price limit

@ Risky

UTC and 1st Aluminum

Did I just hear you say I was complaining about my broker? For where, na my accent dey confuse you. cheesy
UTC don take off with about 0.73 kobo gain in 2 days and 1st Aluminum too no wan hear.

If my Broker could get me “Aunty Juli” tomorrow again join this one, ago just marry the woman lady (broker) straight.   grin grin grin
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by crazyT(m): 12:24pm On Feb 12, 2008
@ Pumping, Wanaj0 and others

Can you believe I made one silly mistake; I place an order for UTC and First Aluminium since 28th of January without a price limit. I have forgotten about it until yester night when I called my broker (to discuss something else) that she told me they were able to buy both stocks for me at 7.42 and 5.21 respectively. All I could say was “Mo gbe o!!!”

Do you think I can still CICO on these stocks with this price?

During our discussion she also told me that their firm Partnership Investment is going on PP very soon; I guess the recapitalization has started, so we should all expect more PP’s and IPO’s from all these investment companies.

Hi to all.
Please need an advice!
Lasco @ 5.70,is it time to sell??
Regards,
hg.

@ Hg

How do you mean "is it time to sell??"

We don't know how much you enter Lasaco, so it will be difficult for anybody to determine for you if the time is right.
I entered Lasaco @ 1.80 so jumping out of the ship @ 5.70 is more than enough. So at what price did you enter Lasaco?
CultureRe: Can A Nigerian Man Be Happy With An English Wife? by crazyT(m): 4:42pm On Feb 09, 2008
@ YVSKC

I am happy for you because God has blessed you with a good home, I guess your attitude to life is positive that is why positive comes your ways.

I am in the same boat or rather I am in a bigger boat than you, am a Nigeria (Yoruba man) and my woman is white we have being together for about 14 years now with 2 handsome boys and in all these years I have never raise my hands on her and I don’t see any reason why I should disrespect her at any time because doing so means I don’t have enough respect for myself.

I remember few years back she was trying to learn Yoruba language; I was so impress because that shows me that she really loves me. She has perfected the act of cooking and eating almost all Nigeria food. Come and see her with cow legs, shaki, orishirishi and fufu with okra soup. tongue

We have tried all we could to get Yoruba books and interactive CD’s in Dutch language but to no avail, I was the one that advise her not to worry herself doing that any more because to me love is what really matters, love speaks all languages.

All my siblings are married to folks from our home town but it’s unbelievable that she (my woman) is my mum’s favorite daughter in-law, despite the fact that they both communicate through interpreters. My parent could see and feel how happy and contented I am, so that transcend the language barrier.

So my friend, don’t worry about the Igbo language, because action do speak louder than words.

My recommendation for Transexpress was for long term. All the same I will consider some profit around N7.90 if it hits it tomorrow or early next week
For where, na first class I buy for this one o so na N12 we dey see next coming week (mark my words).

for real?
I saw the same thing this afternoon (though it's the volume) and that really baffled me, I made some calls to Naija and to my surprise Transcorp is the inn thing at the NSE since yesterday. I just ask them to get me 200k units for CICO for next week.

Maybe by so doing I can averaged my IPO money

Still inside the UNIC flight o (economy class) thanks for the Champagne (the hostess gave it to me), I am happy to know you are still holding your first class sit.

It was the drink that makes me hang on, I would have jump out with those Taliban’s at 25% but today we are at 40% and still going strong.

Just want to repeat Dollyp1cute question, what is going on with ABC Transport? I bought the stock just this week for no tangible reason (the little change that was just lying on my account) but to my surprise it has gained about 15% today.

Is there any news at all?
