Validated: This is like the judgement removing Lyon. Like Lyon, Oshiomhole never dreamt of this.
After this, Obaseki will go ahead and demolish his house in Benin because it was built on government land. Then his country home will be seized by Edo State government because it was a proceed of fraud. This isn't about your local oba or whatever you call thereat. This is about national politics and the kingmakers have said No to his excesses. Again, understand that the Nigerian governors are two powerful that they wield too much influence as to, at merely flip of a finger, be able to bring down a mere party chairman.
My sincere advice to Oshiomhole is to go and beg the follwing:
i. Odigie Oyegun ii, Oba of Benin
Then, these two will intercede for him in the court of Governor Obaseki (Oba does not go to the market), yet Oshiomhole does not know and he started dragging Oba to the market place. |

And most of them comment out of lack of exposure and ignorance. I don't like Fr. Mbaka for running his mouth every time like tap water but he is very very smart in business and in his calling as a Priest. Just look at these: 1.) His sachet water brand ''Aquarafa'' is sold in many parts of the East especially Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi because its source is a confirmed natural spring water. Enter any shop in Abakaliki or Enugu and ask for sachet water, you'll be offered AQUARAFA. 2) He produces High quality Yoghurt, Polyethylene and other polymeric cans/bottles. 3) He gets a lot from political patronage 4)He gets a lot from offerings because he has large followership - mostly on Sundays/Wednesdays. 5) He gets cash/material gifts from the rich and the poor as well. Most people outside the South East don't understand that place and don't Know that the people living there have strong purchasing power and can afford to give meaningful gifts, especially to a Catholic Priest. |

Dammit.
In fact, looking at the above statement, one might as well say that without Nigeria, there is nothing like Africa.
Yet some idiots want to split up this country into little, inconsequential Liberias. When you sneeze nobody will notice.
Rubbish. How does that bogus claim translate to an individual's daily economic lifestyle? Those angling to secede are doing so because people like you have refused to allow Justice, Equity and fair Competition which are the traits of progressive nations to have a firm root in Nigeria. Nigeria would be better as one country when these traits are allowed but will be best as a balkanized nation, if stronger nations with futuristic plans for her citizens will emerge therefrom. Those who are feeding from Nigeria's stagnation want her remain the same since 1960. And those people hate to hear the word ''restructuring'' because they're born naturally lazy and unproductive. |

But ask yourself: - Has teh SW ever murdered Igbos en-masse in the SW? - Do Igbos live and thrive well in the SW, thsn in any other place in Nigeria? - Can you do all the things you do and enjoy the freedom you enjoy in the SW, anywhere in the North? - The Zango Kataf riots that killed hudreds of thousands of IGBOS, WAS BY WHOM AND IT HAPPENED WHERE? Is it the North of SW? - The burning fo Churches and killng of igbo Priests, is happning where and by whom? - The Maitasine riots that killed thousands of Igbos was carried out by who and where? - The eviction notice to vacate the North was given by who? - The 1966 Coup and then the Civil was sef, was started by which region?
The problem with you igbos is that you dont really know your enemy and friend and that is why you are where you are and will remain there till una borrow sense. The greatest curse on any human being is not to make their enemies their friend and make their friends, their enemies. It is Finished for that person. Just kontinue, you hear. We also deserve a better and good life. Without any doubt, this government has made Nigerians understand what they should look forward to and expect in a leader. Buhari is a visionary leader with real, genuine and pure intention for a better Nigeria. Either you wail or not what PMB is doing is what Nigeria need at the moment else it would be grounded totally. Corrupt politicians will confess to you that this corruption fight is real but they will never admit to that instead they will want to manipulate the populace to rubbish the effort of any government that want to take the bull by the horn. How long are we going to keep developing other countries? When a country border is closed, the sole aim and expectation is for the citizens to bring fore their creatively and sell to both local and global market but in Nigeria, the reverse is the case with very! very!! very!!! lazy people who want quick money. China close its doors, reinvent itself and came out very strong. China phone is called palasa with a very bad ringtone but today 80% of mobile cellphone are from China. No doubt this government security strategy and chiefs has failed Nigerians with more killings daily which should be a topic of discussion and not economy or suffering. But when we build our cars, you don't buy because of who made it; when we make shoes and clothes, you call it Aba made. The Chinese you talk about wear 50-50 naira polo; they started wearing cheap things until it became part of their lifestyle, yet they habitually save so much in their bank accounts. They make improved quality goods for export and for the rich amongst them. In fact, we attended a Chinese wedding in Nanjing and most people who were there were too casual to a fault. Truth is: Nigeria will never work until restructured for different regions to compete healthily. Healthy competition will kill religious and tribal discrimination. |

AngryIgboMan: These keke people were a total and complete Nuisance. They constituted a whole lot of mess in Lagos.
Does Okada ride in Tokyo, Japan, Beijing, Berlin or New York?
Even, is Okada in Onitsha? Why would Okada be allowed in Ikeja the seat of government?
For those saying crime rate will increase, thats unless Lagos state government is clueless and stuppid. Sanwo Olu is smart though as far as I know and a very hardworking governor. You can deny this if you want... But the heavy volume of work going on Lagos roads speaks for itself.
Obiano the drunkard (My state Governor Onye Onwu Nkwu) banned Okada in Anambra. Did heavens fall? Rochas even went to the extent of banning keke in the entire state. Did crime rate increase? Was okada not banned in Nnewi even with the rate of billionaire Okada importers from that axis? Did anybody die?
What most of you don't know is that Nigeriens, Chadians, Sudanese, Malians and Somalians took over South West without anybody knowing! It was gradual, crude and definite.... But they were almost succeeding before I believe Sanwo Olu stepped in. At a time, I was asking myself if there is no regulatory body managing these people in Lagos anymore.
They virtually took over Lagos with there stuppid, crazy and mannerless style of driving. They felt like Lords of the city and if you try to caution them, they will bow there heads in foolishness to thank you. But in there hearts, they were calling you Mumu after scratching your car.
What is Keke doing in Victoria Island the financial and industrial hub of Lagos? Who even brought this useless and worthless contraption called Keke to Nigeria? India that manufactures these nonsense made moves to regulate them.
Google Indian roads and see how organized keke driving is. But in Lagos, its madness! They will keep on creating multiple lanes that cause traffic, scratching peoples car with no mercy, hitting pedestrians with reckless abandon while using there Okada and useless keke to rob at night!
I ask again, is Lagos no longer a city? Why is there no Okada in Tokyo, Japan, Beijing, Berlin, Stuttgart, Dubai, Osaka, Chicago or New York?
Sanwo Olu if you are reading this, its not much about making these laws. Its about enacting and enforcing these laws! Enforce the ban and see sanity return to Lagos! But do make available more organized and well tailored Public system of transportation and movement! If Eastern Governors banned Keke and Okada and heavens did not fall, NOTHING DO YOU.
cc
NB For those quoting me and saying "Why am I working and investing in Lagos and why not the East"... My answer is very simple.
Lagos gave my life some meaning that our five hopeless Eastern Governors never gave me. Infact, Sanwo Olus government has been so good to Mainland Lagos where I do busines. Why would I hate him? Why bite fingers that is trying to give my life a meaning? Infact, more of Gods blessings and protection on him as I believe he is taking Lagos to its original plan which in my opinion, AMBODE ABANDONED. Every other thing you wrote made sense until ''Lagos gave your life meaning bla bla bla..''. I was doing fantastically well in Lagos too but I relocated to my Igbo state and now doing larger things. When I build a plaza or 3-storey commercial building, you get your cash en bloc and have rest of mind that when you die, your children will not lose those property to tribal hatred. And because you fear your Innocent uncle in the village is not enough to remain in another man's land. Lagos belongs to Yorubas! My town's guy lost his 50-room hotel building in Borno and he's now playing ''Draft game'' in the village. Recently, one Odunukwe who imported FIRMAN generators wanted to sell his #900 million property and relocate to Igbo land, he was surreptitiously killed like a Chicken. Igbos have the highest purchasing power in this country, so ignore governors that will come and go and invest home. Is Ebonyi governor not doing roads and other infrastructure? Go to Ebonyi and you'll begin to appreciate the Abakaliki people you once thought are underdogs. Just change your thinking! I'm not preaching you but I was reasoning like you before. |

Never mind you are cutting your nose to spite your face in doing this since Amotekun, and its equivalent in every region, is what Nigeria needs to tackle the menace of nameless marauders who have the main advantage of becoming 'shadows' , i.e moving from region to region and even nation to nation, to help them butcher innocent Nigerians.
A group comprising well-trained local volunteers can tackle this menace not a policeman from Enugu posted to Osun State or a Kogi cop stationed in Delta State.
For your info, Yorubas are the only ethnic group the North fear and worry about. They crushed your IPOB because they don't fear any backlash from Igbos who are generally too greedy, materialistic, unprincipled and divided to ever form an effective pressure group capable of causing a headache for the FG.
The Yorubas have done this many times and led other Nigerians by example. The North will know they don't need us starting anything that can snowball. Even our leaders join in, unlike yours, when the issue at hand transcend religion, status and social strata. Everything fails for you guys because you never confront the reality of how your leaders are the greediest and most unprincipled in Nigeria. You therefore keep praying the leaders of others will be same. Not possible.
If the North try to handle this Amotekun issue in a dictatorial fashion, because they are in power, there will be problems short and long term as the Yorubas are the only ethnic group they cannot get away with doing that to. You're misdirecting your frustration as usual. IPOB and the entire Igbo support AMOTEKUN. Be smart to understand that some Fulani impostors here are using Igbo names as moniker. |
