Donpuzo: An employer has a right to go beyond academic test to interview on morals or decency.
No concrete statement on her part to conclude that it was not a mere test. Most especially drawing from the fact that someone made the recommendation.
Just my view though, I might be wrong. What are the instances when a supposed pre-employment interview crosses the line between test and harassment? |

Kingbilo: You have compromised your job search by putting this post up with your face on your profile There is nothing compromising about that. What is compromising is an older lawyer with poor ethics. There is nothing special about his firm...he is just a plain, ordinary lawyer jobbing it like anyone else. maestroferddi: The conduct of the interviewer was undeniably reprehensible. However, you need to get street-smart. Your comments sound/look simplistic and naïve. You should grow the thick skin requisite for survival both out there and in the corporate jungle. And that is not suggesting that you compromise on your morals and values. Just learn the skills that are vital to keeping your head above water... I still think she handled the situation very well. Any other way, we would end up with another Unilag Dr.-admission student type of scandal. And you are witness to some of the silly statements and comments defending the he-goat. |

indigene: See you Nwa lawyer. You re also a sinner before God, if you believe in him. Your saying committed relationship? Are you married? Committed relationship, No cheating! Likely you and your boyfriend has been changing bedsheets far more than married people. Get married to be legit. As a lawyer don't you known what living with a man who is not statutorily married to you amount to? Blockhead! |

Jumokes and Tolus are sultry. Dejis are big boys. Funmis are sweet and/or naive. Tolus are boisterous. Tokunbohs are gentle. Yemisis are very assertive, blunt and almost rude at times.
However, I totally admit that all these are just coincidental stereotypes and the inverse is veritably true for some other persons. |

Politics › Re: Why Is Rivers State Sea Port Underutilised While Lagos Suffers From Congestion? by Crieff(m): 7:52am On Oct 09, 2015 |
jaymichael: PH port is a cargo port. The port/terminal these oil vessels use are different from cargo ports. If PH port is underutilized, the fault lies with Igbos like you, why do you route your cargoes through Apapa and TINCAN, why not fill PH when opening your form M. Don't you people control 95% of importation again? or is it The Yoruba that domiciles in sw that will route his cargo via PH? you lots are so blinded by tribalism hate and lies that your brains have totally believed your delusions. If you had read my previous posts, you will know that I said most ports in the ND are used by mostly the oil industry who care less about the cost but are concerned mostly about proximity and convenience. I also stated that ND and Eastern business men do use the ports too but most times out of absolute necessity. Tell your people when importing to always use PH port and STOP COMPLAINING THAT IT IS YORUBA PEOPLE THAT ARE PREVENTING YOU FROM UTILIZING PH PORT. Educating bigots like you is pointless and me am not ready to bathe a live porcupine. |
