Will you like Nigeria to be ruled by such a deranged man? Definitely NOT Who is deranged between Buhari and Bakare? He's the 16th. Live or die with it. |

rontolo: People are mentioning Nigerian soldiers in same breath as Spetsnaz. This is an insult to these Russian warriors. First, Nigerian regular soldiers are not half as capable as the Russian regular troops. Nigerian special forces (annoying the way our unprofessional soldiers are given this designation upandan) are not even at par with soldiers / conscripts in the Russian ground forces. Spetsnaz is different class, similar to US Delta Force (CAG), US Navy Seal team Six, British SAS, Israel’s Shayetet 13 etc. These guys are extreme warriors. Just one battalion comprising one of these forces will destroy boko haram quickly (using advanced intelligence, logistics, special ops capabilities and deployment etc)
The Nigeria army is an unprofessional ragtag, inferior even to Chadian soldiers. Nepotism and corruption decimated the Nigeria military, long time ago! Unfortunately, this is the truth. |

MejiLoyon: I've always loved driving. The feel of the engine beneath me as I rev towards my destination, the AC in my hair, the sound system blasting my favourite jam ,all these makes it something I look forward to...
In the States I meant. In Nigeria it's nightmarish. Well since I came home I've mastered some skills and I hope you will learn a thing or two. Enjoy
1. Be bold. Have no fear brotherly. When you drive zero your mind. Especially in holdups. Once you're scared dem go just dey pass you any how. Enter any vehicle front. Don't trafficate before you do else they won't allow you. Gbori wole nothing do you.
2. Put your brake oil near you. Dem must kiss your car. E sure me die. If na small scratch just wipe am and move on.
3. Update your swear dictionary. Add ogun go kee you, thunder fire you, iyalaya e and the likes to your dictionary. Trust me you will need it. For in Lagos silence makes you a fool. If you are too butty and can't shout just wide your five fingers give them waka. That will suffice.
4. Never wind down in go slows or holdups. You can be robbed. Boys are not smiling.
5. Update your playlist. If you are a Christian be ready to worship God for hours. If you're secular update. For marlians just put ladugbo mi on repeat. Holdup no dey go like that o. Have fun. For when you get home na sleep sure pass.
I would have written more but omo I tire. Feel free to add yours. Awo lor What's the meaning of your name? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Thread To Thank God For Saving Nigeria, Africa From Full Impact Of Fatal Covid19 by Crieff(m): 11:40pm On Jul 26, 2020 |
BackllGodNaija: What I witnessed on my way to a very busy market during midweek, reminded me of a statement I made over four months ago after observing what Covid-19 was doing to the most developed nations in the world. I'd said to some guys while we were following the events on cable sat TV, "Na only God fit help Africa... because if not, we are doomed! Africa no get anything". Africa didn't even have what those developed nations were using to protect themselves, yet it could be seen how helpless they were to stop the havoc that Covid-19 was unleashing on their citizens that some of them had no choice but to cry out for help. So how much more helpless Africa if it made landfall with the same kind of deadly blows? E for no dey easy I tell you. Wetin eye for see, mouth for no fit talk am. Imagine dead bodies literally littering every where?
So when instead of dead bodies, i saw those of the living going about their daily business as usual, hardly observing the social distancing rules or wearing face masks, almost as though Covid-19 was non-existent in Nigeria, it confirmed what I already knew, that God had come to the rescue of those of us in helpless Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Because this outcome which is Africa-wide has defied the grim predictions of the expatriates, scientists, including WHO officials who saw Africa as the next epicenter of the pandemic especially because they lacked the adequate health care systems of the developed nations among other things. So they kept waiting, waiting, and up til now which is over four months later, they're still waiting for what happened to the likes of Italy, China, Spain, the US and the UK and much worse to happen in Africa but it seems with every passing day, that they got their calculations about Africa wrong.
What makes this low outcome of fatality even more confounding is the fact that Covid-19 has been observed in other parts of the world to be killing black people at a significantly higher rate that those of other groups. There's also the additional factor of temperatures which have crashed in most parts of Africa with the coming of the rainy season getting to 2 or more months now, as some considered the higher temperatures as factorial in slowing down the virus in African regions, but still yet no show. So it more like a case of God using the foolish things of this world to confound the wise, and the weak things to confound the mighty.
Therefore I thought it was an occasion that warranted thanks giving to God for saving Nigeria and the rest of Africa from being hit with the full force of the deadly Covid-19 virus. I believe that if we are grateful to Him for the one He's already done, He would do even more and finish the good work He started. So that from the amount of deaths and cases that there are presently in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, it would get to zero cases and deaths in no time, and our thanksgiving would outlast Covid-19 in Nigeria and the rest of Africa. Also let's not forget to put our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world in our prayers, so that God would help them to overcome this deadly scourge as well.
I thank you Lord for the mighty work You've done to help those of us here in Nigeria and Africa from feeling the full force of the deadly virus. I'm not ignorant of the good thing You've done for us, neither am I an ingrate, because I have a considerable idea of how it would have panned out if not for your help, so I'm not going to take it for granted. It would have given the children of the devil another reason to blaspheme but thank You Lord for putting them to shame. I also pray that you help those in other parts of the world especially those finding it very hard to contain the virus so that they'd be able to overcome it as well. Thank you heavenly Father for I believe you've heard me. In Jesus name. I completely agree with you. But for the mercy of God, it'll be something else right now. Lord, on behalf of my family, I thank you for your mercy and goodness over us especially this season. I thank you because I know that by your grace, me, all mine, and Nigeria as well as other nations of the earth will outlast and outlive Coronavirus in Jesus name. |

Thought every company is registered with CAC with full list of directors.
Please, someone should clarify this for me.
By the way, one of the way to protect whistle blowers is by paying them the agreed money. There are ways you can register a company that will be 100% yours but your name will not be on CAC registers or database. It is completely legal. However in places like UK/US, the true owner of the company can be found if it gets to such extent. |

Venerable612: Ignorance, that’s all I see with these online tantrums.
Rape is a crime. It is not subject to the whims and caprices of the people. It also has nothing to do with anyone’s opinion.
Rape is as defined in legislations and interpreted by the Courts. Nigerian Law doesn’t recognise marital rape.
UK law, however, does recognises marital rape... and that only became recognised in 1990; see the case of R v R (1991).
Nigerian law might get there someday but presently, no such thing as Marital rape - it doesn’t matter what anybody’s opinion on the matter is. Very correct. The best or the closest defined law is assault as defined by VAPA. |

Chloroquine injection will do the trick. talk more of when one of us was sick. that goes by me saying we hardly fall sick . I was in a military secondary school and feeling so sick. And I hated MRS since it makes you weak and lost it, so I waited till break. And I do stay with my mums friend who happened to be a nurse and work in shika zaria people go sabi am. Since my family was in south west and I school in zaria. my mum called her friend who happened to be a matron. They had conversations and next thing she came to pick me from school after we collect pass and drove me to her house. She had this daughter I was crushing on and they always tease me am the girls hubby which I do like in a way . Fast forward, na so she drive me go hospital and we see doctor. Bla bla bla I went for test and 2 hours later, doctor said some stuffs to her. Oboy I sha see the woman dey look me somehow and when we got home she wasnt so opened to me. Well like an hour later my mum called and was like I have STD. I dnt even know what STD means. The woman's hubby na pastor and a man I respect na so him call me where this my crush dey oo. Dey ask me question about my sex life. The girl dey look up etc. I sha was shocked coz I dnt even have any fantasy about sex at that age infact I never got to have sex till of recent (20s) and that's the first and last time since its not worth it to me. I told the man I dnt know what his talking about and am just feeling very sick and weak. Well he told me my diagnosis came out as STD and I really disappointed my mum and everyone. I just start dey shiver. The man was like he knows what it feels like to be in the military and he knows I will mix with diff kids. Well since I maintained my innocence mum came over 2 days later and her friend was like we should try a private hospital etc and see the depth of the STD. Na so we go all the way to kaduna from zaria enter one private hospital. I came out negative and tested high to typhoid and a serious case of malaria parasite. Infact the doctor advised I be placed under serious antibiotics drip asap.
Mum hugged me and apologised for doubting my innocence and mums friend took the test back to shika to show that dicyir that misdiagnosed me. It was really embarrassing than I could write. Imagine! |

Business › Re: Help, I'm Being Frustrated By The Rules Of My Mum's Business by Crieff(m): 1:16pm On May 28, 2020 |
Blessamaka: My post might be lengthy but I'll try my best to be brief but please read to the end.
I'm in my early twenties (20's) and currently a student in one of the prestigious university in Nigeria.
Before I got admission, I usually help my mum to sell onions in Ajegunle market aka boundary market in Lagos State.
Ever since schools were shut down due to the pandemic I've been scared of helping my mum because of the despicable rules or laws guiding the business which i might not be able to keep to it thereby putting my mum in trouble and that's the only means of survival for me and mum for now.
My mum belongs to a group of people that sells same product and they are usually referred to as Union and the leaders are the one dishing out those annoying laws.
Examples of such laws are:
1. You don't buy more than the quantity of goods apportioned to you else you will be fined and suspended from selling but the so called leaders go contrary to these laws
2. They tell you when to buy goods i.e before buying new goods, you sell your old goods for 7days not minding if the quantity apportioned to you is enough or not. My self as a case study, we were apportioned 3 bags of onions and I sell 3 bags in 3 days so me and my mum would stay at home for 4days before going to buy new goods.
3. They tell you when to start selling which is 10:00am everyday excluding Sunday and this law was before the pandemic
4. They tell you how to sell i.e the size of onions you are to sell for a particular amount as if they borrowed you money or they are the one giving you money always to buy goods.
And many more of these unimaginable laws. Right now I confused! I don't know the best way to go about this and I really do wish to start selling because I'm broke and I've so many responsibilities to care for financially.
I need legal help, advice on how to go about this until I get something else to do or probably a work or a different business.
The reason for going into business is to make profit and save for rainy days but the reverse seems to be the case here.
Please help me move to front page to get more reviews in regard to this Start selling onions online. Break all their rules. Make stickers and paste it everywhere, napep and all. Stupid people |
Romance › Re: My Encounter With A Highly Intelligent Girl. by Crieff(m): 10:33pm On May 19, 2020 |
Randy100: It was a hot afternoon of saturday 21st December 2019. I was sweating profusely like a christmas he-goat. I was busy minding my business and walking on the pedestrial side when I saw a small girl who I later got to know to be 19 years. She was carrying a school bag at her back and also a sack full of book on the hand, I could see she was struggling.
As a man with good heart, I decided to help a little sister. I offered my help and I can bet my left balls that she was pleased as she smiled back and agreed without reluctancy. She was beautiful though slim with no nyash and a tiny breast that you could mistaken as a big pimple. I didn't mind, I was only interested in one thing to chop and clean mouth. I collected the sack from her hand with ease, showing no weakness. We started matching to where she will enter keke that is going to her direction. When we reached where she will enter keke, I asked for her number and she said, I should call my own instead that she is going to call me. I called my number, but I noticed she was not writing it down any where. I asked her why, she told me that the number is already stored in her brain. I doubted it and asked her to call it. With the speed of light she vomited the number for me. I was so impressed. She promised to call me but she refused to tell me when.
I have always been in control when I am involve with any lady, but this one, I was the one anxious waiting for her to call me. After waiting for the whole of December, I gave up and stopped expecting. On friday, 3rd january 2020, she called to wish me happy new year. I was so excited, and still I don't know why I was excited. I called her back in the evening to ask her if she will be free on Sunday, that I want to take her out. She agreed and we fixed 4pm at genesis located in leventis at Enugu.
Having dated so many girls, I know how girls think, so I am always ahead of them. Thinking I was dealing with a random girl, by 4pm I started coming out from my house when she called that she is already there. I lied that I was helping an accident victim that I will soon be there. I arrived 30 minutes late and apologized which I have never done because I am always earlier. It has been the other way round, the girls apologizing. We went inside and sat comfortably talking. I got to know she is in second year studying electrical engineering at UNN. All my life, I have never met a girl as highly intelligent as her. She was so versatile in every aspect. We discussed politics and I got to know that her favourite tv show is journalist hangout. We talked football, her analysis of why she thinks Messi is better than Ronaldo was top notch. She countered every of my defense of Ronald intelligently. I was perplexed and shocked. We ordered for their useless fried rice and drinks and ate. She brought out 1k and gave to me. She said I should use it and support whatever I am paying. She even paid more than half of what we ate.
I came back, lost in thought about her, I was so impressed. I picked up my phone and texted her "God bless your father for raising a great daughter like you. Good night." I have been doubting if truly she is a girl, or if I have a Bobrisky situation here. Just like Thomas in the bible, who said "I won't beleive untill I put my hand inside that hole." Wayray! |

Ayemileto: You can turn on error reporting in the codeigniter script by changing the environment to development instead of production.
With that you will easily see what's causing the HTTP 500 error.
There's chances the error is being caused by some PHP functions used in the script that have been deprecated in your PHP version.
You know, even PHP 7.3 is different from PHP 7.4 as some functions available in 7.3 have been deprecated in 7.4.
So the error might not be that serious, it may be something you can fix in less than 1hr. Thanks for that pointer. Didn't think of that...was checking the error logs a parse syntax error of an unexpected T_string...? Will look at it again today. |
