This is why things don't function as they should in Nigeria, everyone waits till the last minute and then overloads the system |
Segadem:The frustrating part is they are not making any in-game adjustments. Oshoala is being used poorly |
Put the ball on the ground, all this air drops is not working |
There you have it ladies and gentlemen. These are the type of things that go on behind the scenes that you will never see on the news. If we all have such information, then we will begin to understand why Nigeria has not gotten it right all these years. When money flows into politics what do you expect? GEJ meant well for Nigeria but nobody feared him so you can imagine how many cabals were constantly rooting against him. Now its Buhari Which way Nigeria |
Oyinbo constantly cheating. Nigerian FA should file a lawsuit |
You lose to Australia and then want to go and win against USA while hoping Australia vs Sweden ends up as a draw in what must be a win for both teams You play a 39 year old (past her prime)Nkwocha in a must win match You take off your best player in a must win match please park well |
In a must win match, you take off your best player.. continue |
Our goalkeeper is a wasteeeee, she has no legs, does not talk with defenders, cant even take a goalkick |
This team has potential but they lack organization and patience, plus there is no depth |
There we have it, a clueless goalkeeper |
We are being exposed defensively on the flanks, this needs to be fixed asap We need to be more patient in front of goal, all this ball in the air does not work Oshoala needs to assert herself more, one or two dangerous runs will leave her teammates open We need to win this game, playing USA is not a noise making exercise |
Tinubu has never and will never have the interest of Nigerians at heart, it is a fact Its good how he is losing all his political influence |
Senator Akume is bitter because he got played, this is why it is important to know all the rules, even the archaic ones that are never used in the Senate. Senator Bukola Saraki is not a small boy He is making his play for Presidential candidate under PDP banner in 2019, he will most likely decamp in 2018. APC cracks are showing, PDP is still alive. This is good for our democracy. This is not a noise making exercise |
Growingboi:Even though you are married to her, why should you be the one to determine what she feels comfortable wearing/not wearing as underwear. Does she tell you what boxers to wear on any given day? Do you ask her for permission? She is her own person, she can make her own choice As a side note, in which religious book does it say it is improper for a married woman to wear g-string? Husband and wife(Partners), NOT Husband and property(Ownership) |
thecapitalng:I don't need to, the author should do a better job of fact-checking his/her information before trying to slander someone. The author is doing a disservice to anyone reading the article by giving them false information. |
it seems PDP has forgotten they are no longer the majority |
We have seen in developed nations that the war on terror is long and continuous battle, In the case of Nigeria, we don't have the funds, equipment and properly trained personnel to counter this, plus we have porous borders. So how do we deal with terrorism For starters we must lock down our borders with neighboring countries, you cant go and come as you please Surveillance is key, Nigeria is vast,we need drones to map the terrain and identify incoming threats Proper training, ask for assistance from USA Proper equipment, if USA wont sell, ask Israel, they buys USA weapons, if USA blocks sale, look towards the east, Russia makes very good weapons Ensure we have legitimate spy agencies, we must be proactive in defense of the homeland After all that is setup, launch continuous offensives. Be ready for collateral damage, keep it minimal as possible, but rain bombs 24/7 for a week (start in the night) on all known and identified terror areas on Nigerian soil. Then send in army to clean up End of story |
You do not bother a lion and expect it not to maul you. RIP to her, but good riddance. The lion is not your mate |
Why don’t they form a red light district, regulate the industry and tax it.There are already enough players in the market on both sides. The ladies can operate safely and pay tax, the business will boom, they can feed their families. It can even become a tourist hotspot. |
So because they gave money to the less privileged, that makes them the best phone brand. Are you even listening to yourself? Don’t fall for the old PR trick. I am glad they are trying to help society in a meaningful way, we must all chip in as well, but that does make them the best phone brand |
agarawu23:You make it sound like he could solve the NEPA problem we have had since the country started in 2years. Even if he could, do you know how long it takes to know who your allies and enemies are in Nigerian politics, then begin to fight those enemies, while trying to figure out existing assets and expenses in addition to dealing with the unions. He is telling us what he saw and experienced, you don't even want to investigate his claims or give him benefit of the doubt |
let us hope the advisers are all competent, the last thing we need is clueless people whispering in the presidents ear In other news, what of the ministerial nominees. The fact that it is taking this long probably means there is still internal party struggle and PMB is reminding them "I belong to nobody" |
Everyone please just take a look at the “Defence house”. It looks like somebody’s dining table. For a nation that wants to be seen as a regional power, if this is where our chiefs of staff meet with the president on sensitive matters, then we are still learners. |
Fayose said, “I shall be happy to nominate a worthy and competent professional, who can always oblige Your Excellency and your cabinet the benefit of a second opinion in the serious business of governance.” Is this what our "democracy" has come down to, Fayose should know his place and do his job, the way our politicians act, you can tell everything is by patronage Just face your work |
The one good thing about this manifesto is that if they deliver, it will be wonderful for us all, but if they dont, we will remove them with our vote We have the metrics, we are waiting. |
People have been shouting change but we are still seeing the same old thing, choose people based on merit, no, they are stiil choosing by tribe. Then everyone will wonder why nothing works in this country. Federal character is nonsense, competence should be the watchword |
SkyBlue1:There are many but i will give you a simple one, the claim that the DG got his law degree a year before he was appointed DG is false. This one simple thing that can be crosschecked wasnt. How can you trust anything else that is written |
Another article riddled with false statements. I detest so called journalists who cant even do basic research. We accept nonsense in this country and thats why they write rubbish and put it in the News. This article is false and very inaccurate. NIMC should sue them |
The article is riddled with utter crap. There are so many false and inaccurate statements. NIMC should sue them |
A lot of people thing FG is the real problem, sometimes thats true but the real threat to Nigeria are all the UNIONS, they are so dependent on the status quo that they dont allow progress in the country. A well meaning Nigerian comes into government to change things and before you know it, they go on strike, complain government is trying to sack them, complain they have not been paid. The reason why FG salaries are so high is because of them, until we get rid of them, incompetence will always surround FG PENGASSAN, NUPENG, NTU, ASCSN. These are some of the unions destroying this country. in fact I cant call them unions, they are some of the cabals destroying this country from within |
Lets be honest with ourselves. If GMB goes after new money crooks, he will only be suppressing corruption and it will most likely be looked at as witch hunting Let me explain why. Corruption did not start when GEJ entered government, It has been ongoing since this country started Did you know Nigerian politicians made more money than their British counterparts during the days of our founders. The only reason most are not aware is because they will never teach you that in social studies class Did you know the British colonial government brought corruption charges against 2 of our founding fathers Did you know Awo was imprisoned for diverting public funds for private use The Next generation of politicians saw and continued the same exact thing - OBJ, Danjuma, IBB, Gowon, Shagari, Abubakar etc Corruption is now systemic and institutionalized. If you want to probe corruption, GMB must start with all his mates, I don't think he will because they most likely know where his skeletons, if any, are buried. We must also ensure that the proper infrastructure from the grassroots are established, if not, we will always continue to produce bad leaders Will Nigeria ever declare real war on corruption and treasury looting? Until we decide to examine our past properly and figure out why the Nigeria project has failed so consistently, nothing will change. “Not to know what happened before we were born is always to remain a child; to know, and blindly to adopt that knowledge as an implicit rule of life, is never to be a man.” - Horace Smith |
