sukkot:Dont be gullible |
sukkot:If you think GMB is the cause of this,I have a bridge to sell you |
sukkot:Clearly you dont know what a genocide is, no point continuing this conversation. |
sukkot:How are exactly are they being selfish. Why shouldn't they secede? Just take a look below of a time line of Igbo genocide 1980 Northern City of KANO! 1982 Northern City of MAIDUGURI! 1984 Northern City of YOLA! 1985 Northern City of GOMBE! 1986 Northern Cities of KADUNA and KAFANCHAN! 1991 Northern Cities of BAUCHI, KATSINA and KANO! 1992 Northern City of ZANGO KATAF! 1993 Northern City of FUNTUA! 1994 Northern City of KANO Notice I didn't even mention what happened in Odi massacre of 1999 or the 1966 pogrom Your analogy is a stupid one. No one told the north to stop producing So because of groundnut, that gives them the right to keep polluting the Niger Delta |
When I told people close to me that voting for GMB would be a mistake and that it would be better to sit at home and observe or vote for GEJ, they said I was talking nonsense. I hope you all are witnessing the change The exchange rate is worse now than it has ever been. Food items are now more expensive than before. You would think giving the idiots we have as governors asking for the sharing of ECA money from an 'empty' treasury and the state of the economy, GMB would appoint an economic team as well as a finance and agriculture minister to give him solid policy advisers. Instead he operated as sole administrator I guess getting an F9 in waec math and owning a farm allows you to understand the competing interest of 170million+ population. Don't even try an bring up his HOS experience. This is not command and control anymore, it wont fly anymore. GMB keeps appointing Northerners in almost every position, even a dullard knows given our history and the optics of political appointment, you would tread carefully but No, he does what he wants. Why have you not appointed a CoS, his media aide tell you, "in the fullness of time". Ladies and gents, what more do you need to know that this administration does not have your interest at heart BH bombings are now almost a daily occurrence, BH suspects are now being sent to the SE. Everyone knows how tense things are, What happens if one of those individuals should blow a bomb there now? No ministers, no policy direction This country is in autopilot |
When Nigerian activists where fighting Northern leaders concerning age of marriage, we did not hear from the US. Now they want to come and talk about gay marriage, If they plan to talk about it, we should also press them on police brutality and racism towards blacks in their country. On the issue of gay marriage, one only needs to look at the Nigerian society to know that we don't accept it. Legalizing it would mean the Nigerian FG is ok with gay divorce, gay marriage, gay kissing in public, gay bf and bf in secondary school amongst other things and every citizen should be ok with it. Brethren Nigeria is on the brink of collapse and gay marriage is the priority? Where do we draw the line. Should we now accept bestiality, afterall they can do whatever they want, do we want to now raise children in a woman/woman or man/man household? Have we considered the effect it will have on our society. If you look at the biology and anatomy of humans, you will see that it is supposed to be man/woman, if you look at all the religions, you will see that it is man/woman As for those that are gay, I wish you the very best and I want you to prosper, If you are reading this, just remember its because you have a father and a mother. |
Buhari will not force . . . hold it there. Even if he wanted to he cant, there is due process. This is not a military regime , don't cry, don't beg. |
Ahn ahn what is all this merry-go-rounding. Were they recalled or not? This is what happens when you don't have aides and people with technical expertise giving you the knowledge to make the best decision |
Its easy to cut salary when you have guaranteed pension for life. Anyhow sha, step in the right direction, NASS you're next |
ABEngine:The pasture is very much greener outside but you must already know how take care of the grass if you know what I mean. You cant just enter a foreign land without planning for visa, housing, education, feeding, entertainment etc. Everyones scenario is different |
voltron:I see your view, I would further say a combination of both could help in resolving the issue. |
If you copy from someone else, give a citation so readers know the original source of that information remember what happened to linda ikeji |
azeezkadiri:What exactly is permanented? If you submit reports with that kind of language, what do you expect? If you think your boss is not treating you right, find out what your company policy is on reporting to higher ups and go based on that |
preciousone123:There is a difference between promise and contract in the workplace You mention your boss made you a promise, was this verbal or was there a written contract? If it was not legally written, agreed and signed by both parties then nothing for you oh. Its your word against theirs and you cant prove it in court without paperwork.Your best bet is to try and get it in writing or find another job |
0lumide:I am not offended, I was just curious |
0lumide:I should correct myself, not all are northerners and I do agree with you they should all(through due process if that still exists in this country) be jailed for their actions As a side note, did using all caps make you feel better? |
Nigeria is on the brink of catastrophe and instead of them to clean up their mess and lay a proper foundation for future generations, this is what they spend their time doing This country is exhausting |
How is this going to be enforced? The people begging and hawking know no other way of life, until his administration figures out how to tackle education and unemployment, his actions are just words on paper |
0lumide:You do realize the NNPC board were all northerners |
Until an outside audit is conducted by a well known firm with excellent reputation, nothing NNPC says should be taken as the truth |
Nuclear power, when we haven't figured out common electricity. gerrrarhia |
The nonsense that has been going on since 1960 underscores one major point. Our education system has failed us and continues to do so. |
While this is a bad situation, this is ultimately good. At least we will now know if the PMB administration has any policy whatsoever on subsidy |
The lawyer may/may not be right but in the case that he is, we all know the country we call home. Law get k-leg for here, efrebor oh |
victorels:Why are you looking to blame the devil or people from your village?, If you break glass in the kitchen or NEPA take light, is it the people in your village that caused it? Not everything has spiritual roots, sometimes man made error. If you had gotten the chicken pox vaccine when you were younger, you would not be having this issue now I cant believe you are considering going to the interview in your present condition, are you trying to endanger other people in that place. The right course of action is to reschedule and tell them why you are doing so, if they refuse, then they never cared about your well-being in which case you saved yourself from one chance. Wish you a speedy recovery |
It amazes me how some of the simple things that need to be done become like rocket science in Nigeria. How difficult is it to appoint a COS. Surely there must be one in a population of 170million+. The COS has key responsibilities such as The COS must select key Aso rock staff and supervise them Structure the Aso rock staff system Control flow of people stepping into PMBs office Manage flow of information Protect PMBs interest Negotiate with NASS and other vested interest groups to push PMBs agenda forward Advise PMB on various issues Why cant the PMB administration see this. Due to their inaction, we arestuck with dealing on trivial issues, before you know it, 4 years has come and gone |
The PMB administration is slowly losing the communication and media battle. They clearly didnt hire the group that painted them in a positive light during the election |
ApexTitan:Why would you adopt a wait and see approach?, the very reason that it is in the early days should have even resulted in getting those ministerial posts filled. The PMB administration knew they were coming into power 3 months ago and yet it seems like they don’t have a list of names The ministers need to meet with lobby groups, media, coalition partners, other ministers in government and sectors that have public interest to them, they are the eyes and ears about the trends going on. They will need to figure out budgets, planning, implementation and give reports to PMB. They will need to fight opposition when they make unpopular decisions. This is a lot of work You want us to continue watching the man while he does nothing to take this burden off him. NO Now is the time to get the right people in key positions when there is still political good will and the masses are still shouting change |
sammyj:I agree the N. Assembly needs to settle but we are not even hearing of a date to announce. At least assure the public of a deadline to take action. Surely, thats not too much to ask |
Are all appointments going to the North, asking for a friend. |
sammyj:Can you tell us what is witch-hunting about criticizing a government that knew it was coming into power 3 months ago and yet did nothing about finding candidates for key government positions. PMB is starting to run this country like a sole administrator. He cannot do it all by himself, or are you telling me he has expertise in all the fields |
Keneking:Exchange rate is not set by negotiation |
