You are working directly with the SA and not employed by the federal government. He or She is responsible for paying ur salary not the federal government. At the end of his/her tenure your job is done. Anyway it is good for the experience and CV. |

Point number 1 is not that necessarily true. Check engine light does not in most cases mean the engine is in trouble. A check engine light means something is wrong with ur car that need immediate attention. 3 Likes |

Travel / Re: Lets Talk Oman by cruxifixo: 3:54pm On Nov 25, 2016 |
Lots of Nigerians in Oman, infact u will find Nigerians in virtually all the Universities, hospitals and the Oil sector. Muscat is d place to be cos u have few Nigerians and expatriate outside Muscat. That said, minimum 700 - 800 Omani rial could be ok for a single and for a family depending on the size, minimum of 1000 Omani rial (1 naira - 960 Omani rial)excluding benefits. |
Travel / Re: The Oman Dilemma by cruxifixo: 3:36pm On Nov 25, 2016 |
Bobbybenard:This is an old post, sorry saw it late. If you are already in Oman u will realize that anything less than 600 Omani rial [540,000 Naira] is not good enough talkless of 260 Omani rial. If u are still in Nigeria or moved elsewhere, good you didn't take the offer. The gulf countries are only suitable for professionals and most of them work as University lecturers, Hospitals and the Oil sector. |

let me add an interesting dimension. do you know that if you go the route of HND, MSC, PhD u can never be aaccepted to lecture in a Nigeria university because of that HND. As you can see, there are certain jobs you cannot get in Nigeria, even with your PhD. My advice? dump or convert that HND to Bsc as soon as you can. |
