Very true.
I am Tinubu's free education initiative product.
He paid for our school fees back then (JSS1-SSS3). He paid for our WAEC exams too. I wish the man was contesting as a much younger person. He's a great leader!

It's been months and I just can't forget you;
Your laughs and smiles,
Your jokes and intellect.

My love, I wish I could turn back the hands of time,
If I could, I would pause it and live in this life with all of you alone in it.
I hope you get to read this someday, so you know that I miss you greatly even though I still dey vex for you.

I deliberately let the push stop and I watched you leave me behind,
Though, I am pained that the weight of our love is not balanced,
But yet, I understand the constraints that surrounded your choice.

I wish I could still have you,
I really wish you were mine again, this time forever.
Forever would have been sweet with you, my dear friend.

The most beautiful and most intelligent,
The most empathic and most charming.
You are the best of your kind, Ewa!

You are gold baby! Pure gold!!!!

Well, "boring" is relative.
I am not a football fan and I am not boring.
I have passion for something else.

There are lots of men who are not crazy about football, similarly there are lots of women who are not crazy about Zeeworld or Telemundo.

Have watched it. Acting good. But some scenes didn't add up. Like, they didn't have any phone on them before. Suddenly Sarah gets an android phone to call her ex who uses the location app to trace her to the beach house. It didn't make sense. Then why would the woman who kept them overnight in the village whilst the festival was going on push them out the following morning? She saw the young girl was severely wounded. Yet she cared for her over the night and sent them away in the morning. There was no reason to do that and it was not characteristic village hospitality.
She saw the android phone from the mustang car they snatched from Denrele Edun.

Kate Henshaw did good in the movie but in my opinion, Ireti Doyle/Tina Mba would have delivered her role better.

Like I said, in my opinion.
FamilyRe: My Experience As A Married Woman Being Best Friends With A Married Man by CrystalMax: 12:43pm On Apr 07, 2022
chioma134:
This post was triggered by an earlier post I saw where the poster was having long talks with his friend's wife. I've been in a similar situation. I changed location and had to be separate from my family due to work. I was lonely and needed a friend. I talk with my husband regularly, but his interests are not my interests, so I find that besides household and family matters, we have little else to talk about. I found myself talking to this guy I met when I went for an official assignment. We started as friends, but we became attracted to each other. So when I travelled back to base, we started these long conversations. We're both born-again Christians and both married, so we kept to certain boundaries. I enjoyed conversing with him more than with my spouse. I became consumed with thoughts of him. He also expressed his desire and attraction towards me, but we laughed over it as jokes.

My husband noticed the conversations when I travelled home and became suspicious. He forbade me from speaking with him. He had never seen me have long talks with any friend, talkless of a male one. I informed my friend and he said no problem, he would wait till I travelled back to work base before he would continue. He later travelled to meet his family and conversation became scanty. I realized how much I was addicted to him when I couldn't talk to him as much as I wanted. He returned to base and we continued like before.

I started praying for God to help me overcome these desires. Maybe he also felt the same, because for some reasons I don't know, he reduced the frequency of calls and chats drastically. I didn't try to find out why, just thought the time-off would help me clear out immoral thoughts. But I got hurt when he acted indifferent on one occasion when I felt he should have shown more care. I asked him about it and he pretended not to understand what I was talking about. I read the writing on the wall, and decided to play along. So I said "bye. It was nice meeting you." Part of me was grateful it ended, another part was wishing I could still be with him. I love my husband and children, I cannot come and scatter my home.

He thought I was joking. I was no longer responding to his chats, and when I did, only with monosyllables. He became hurt and accused me of going silent on him. I told him he started it. He wanted me to become defensive, but the Holy Spirit whispered "keep quiet ". So I allowed him rant without saying anything. I thank God I didn't, because I would have exposed how deep my true feelings for him were.

Right now, he chats once in a while, just general "how are you". I say "fine". My feelings have healed and I thank God we didn't continue because I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from an affair if we had eventually had any physical contact. I can categorically say I'm no longer in love with him.

I penned these down for those struggling with similar situations. Just cut off the relationship. Stop conversation, chatting, or physical contact. Then pray for God to help you overcome those lusty feelings.
God will bless you for sharing this.

Radical amputation is the key to any emotional distraction.
Thank God for your life.

Gift deed is used as proof or source of lump sums and not as POF. The relative is expected to actually make that transfer to you.

I will advise the relative transfers now and you leave the amount to fallow in your account for a period of 4-5months, then you print.
Thanks.

Hello Seniors,
I would like to ask, is gift deed acceptable as POF for Study permit application?
I have a relative who is willing to give me all the funds required as proof of funds, perhaps the person is unwilling to let me know his financial value.
I need urgent response please.

Greetings Elders,
My sister is 1 step forward in her study permit application, as she got a request for her biometrics somedays ago. We hope for a perfected testimony.

On her behalf, I would like to ask, how can she travel with her children after getting her Study permit?
(She didn't include them as dependents in the application because she doesn't want reduced chances.)

Please advise.

Before your big day comes, have a dream; a realistic dream.

Develop yourself while waiting.

Bayo Omoboriowo is highly phenomenal. He leveraged on his Presidency connect to write his name in the sand of time.
This is what PJ preached about last Sunday; Efficient action. I am proud of the man; Bayo Omoboriowo.

Although the country is ours, the book in question is Bayo's, the Guiness World record accolade also is for Bayo Omoboriowo.

Bro do you understand what they call career fulfilmenthuh

Currently I found myself working in an engineering field but in all honesty i dont see myself building a career there wanna be an HR almost done with my certification programs in HR
I try redeploy the last time my HoD refuse let me go... hoping to start applying for jobs outside immediately I am done and currently I am doing some HR volunteer works

There is what they call career fulfilment doing what u have passion for and not just to have a pay check by month end
You are very correct!
But how do you survive in the present? How do you cope with the current tide? Do you resign from a "not so bad career path" because you are looking for career fulfilment and then leave for an unknown land of joblessness?
I validate his efforts to get Engineering certifications. Nonetheless, I opine that we should enjoy the reality that befalls us, if our efforts is not yielding the desired result. We should enjoy it with the hope of a change, and if it never comes.....having done all we could,we relax!
CareerRe: Requesting For Redeployment From HR by CrystalMax: 6:10pm On Sep 20, 2021
Moreso, you'd shine in audit department because you have an engineering background. You will outshine your peers in that department in a matter of time. You will be an outstanding technical auditor soon enough.

Audit department are usually filled with people with finance and accounting background, they hardly do technical audit well. Their judgement only gets better by long years of experience in an engineering firm.

You will be an outstanding auditor in no time.

Yes! Engineers can be auditors and HR professionals too. Dance to the rythmn bro. Don't put yourself in the box.
I hope you read this and make the best decision for yourself.

jurgenkloppp:
I have worked in a private engineering company for 6 years. I got in through their Graduate Trainee Program in 2015. On completion of my 1 year training, I was deployed to their Audit department despite being an Engineering graduate. I was shocked, dismayed and depressed as I didn't know how my career will pan out working in Audit department as an Engineering graduate.

Fortunately, I started my Masters in Engineering, few months after my deployment to Audit. This gave me some glimpse of hope and direction in my career as an engineer. I have completed my Masters in Engineering program, registered with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Institute of Power Engineers (MNIPE). Despite my professional qualifications in Engineering, I do not have hands-on experience in engineering despite being in an engineering environment.

I have spent 5 years in Audit department, of which largely I have not been fulfilled. I want to practise my profession and I also believe I will add more value to the company if redeployed to a Technical department.

Do you guys think approaching the HR to request for redeployment on the grounds that I believe I can add more value to the company is a good idea? If it is, How can I go about it? I will appreciate your suggestions and advice.
I made this move years back and I regret it now.
Don't force things bro, dance to the rythmn life is playing for you.
There is nothing wrong in developing yourself in this 'new' field you have found yourself. Sometimes God strategically position us for a future we have no clue about.
I regret leaving HR all in the name of I want to practise engineering 5years after. Build yourself in this new found path, it might be your escape route for a better life in years to come.
Your COREN et al are added advantage....they are not a waste.

Congrats to the elders in the house who just got their desired response from IRCC.

Elders, please I need counsel.
I am considering an affordable graduate diploma course in any Electrical Engineering / Data Analytics related disciplines.
(I have a 2.2 in Elect/Elect Eng'g with about 5 years work experience)
The only school I found that offers a related course to my background is Algonquin College (Energy systems) but this course is not available for May 2022 entry. I am planning for May 2022 resumption (This is to give enough time for preparation and visa processing)

Perhaps, I am limited in knowledge of school search, I humbly request for useful advise and suggestions on schools to apply to.

Save a frustrated Nigerian.
Thanks.
RomanceRe: Single People How Do You Cope With Being Alone by CrystalMax: 10:07pm On Aug 07, 2021
MeghaneMorgane:
I am a young lady in my mid 20s. I don’t live with my parents. I live alone because I work in another city different from where my parents live. My problem now is immediately I get back home from work, I begin to feel lonely. Because of this, I like to close late from work just to keep my mind busy. I close early only if I have other errands to run or if I am very tired.

When I get home, I speak with my parents who try their best to keep me company. But there is still lots of time left before I go to bed. In the height of my boredom, I come to nairaland. Then I go to other blogs to read the news. I read all the news blogs I normally follow. I check out my chats on WhatsApp and Telegram. Usually there isn’t anyone chatting with me because everyone is busy with their lives. I go to Youtube which I have become tired of watching. And at some time I’m just bored to my mind. I don’t like to impose myself on anybody and so I only chat with people who come to chat with me including neighbours.

Sometimes I just want someone around that I can talk to but I’m alone by myself. Single people, how do you cope with boredom. I mean single people who are really single not the ones cohabiting or visiting their partners. Some tips will be very helpful right now.
I am more tired of it my dear.
I wish I could go to a mall to buy a good wife. Even if na "belgium", I for don buy one.
I am sore tired of the loneliness.
