Your peace of mind and sanity is more important.

The same thing they did to 2face.
He was forced to call off the protest then, yet many Nigerians never understood that, they started abusing him.
I hope they won't force Sowore to call off this protest and if they do, please we shouldn't call him a coward.

Just like R Kelly n Bill Cosby... When one or two opens up, the rest will summon the courage to do the same. The young man should check his life and quietly apologise to those he knows he crossed the boundaries with. It would go a long way to ease the pains.
Alternatively he can do a public apology n ask God for forgiveness. Nothing wrong with that. But if he is sure he is completely innocent, then, then he can tell us his own side of the story n let God be the judge.
Christianity EtcRe: Busola Dakolo: Nigerians To Protest At COZA Church On Sunday Over Rape Allegatio by CrystalMax: 3:25am On Jun 29, 2019
thepatroit:
Her case may sound silly but it MIGHT be true. My sister was sexually molested even at a younger age. It was very many years later she told me. The weird thing was that my brother's and I were at home that day. We were in the living room watching television while they were in the guest room. He told her to keep saying a particular thing so we wouldn't suspect what was going on while he abused her. We were all very young then and were NTA 2 channel 5 addicts, so we didn't see it out of the ordinary that our senior cousin was with our sister alone in the room.

I asked her why she didn't speak up then so the guy would be lynched. She said she was afraid no one would believe her, the fear of being called a spoilt child for saying such things and the fear of my cousin too who began treating her like dirt but we were too young to notice then. She was traumatized too.

So don't ask why rape victims don't come out early to talk. No one in our family knows this except me. It would hurt my parents terribly if they did, so it's our little secret

I don't know if Busola is saying the truth or not, just saying there are many rape victims out there who can't talk out of fear or one reason or the other.
Well said bro.
This is plain truth!

Emotions and sentiments is all I see here. As long as the young man asked for his seat politely, he is not wrong in my opinion.

People should stop using being an elder/a cleric/a celebrity as an excuse for aberration.

We should learn to do what's right irrespective of our status.

Odun is danm overrated lipsrsealed
In my opinion, you are very correct. Ibrahim Chatta is very versatile and he delivers very well in all instance.

Odunlade on the other hand, has some roles he's comfortable with and he sticks to them,he doesn't try out other roles(probably because he's not good at them) but because he's funny, majority will be on his side.

Even though Ibrahim Chatta isn't as celebrated like Odunlade, he actually acts better than Odunlade.

We use 330kv and 135kv for transmission. Stepped down to about 33kv for distribution. Then further stepped down to 415v(3phase) or 220( single phase) for consumption.
It is 132KV sir and not 135KV.
EducationRe: How To Identify Different High Tension Powerlines by CrystalMax: 1:25pm On Mar 22, 2019
mctfopt:
The higher voltages 11kv, 33kv are for transmission purposes. We transmit at very high voltages to reduce loss in power and be able to use smaller sized cables. The 0.415KV or 415V is the voltage you get between phase to phase in a three phase system. If you take one phase and a neutral you'd get 230V which we is popularly used in most homes. So most of the three wires you see along the road have 415V in between two phases. Transmitting for very long distances we often use 132KV for that.
You are not completely right sir.
Transmission voltage in Nigeria is 330KV or 132KV
Primary Distribution voltage in Nigeria is 33KV and 11KV
Secondary Distribution Voltage in Nigeria is 415V (for 3Phase supply-Industrial use) and 220V (domestic use).
The three conductors you mentioned are usually called "High Tension Lines" or "HV Lines", they carry 33,000Volts or 11,000Volts. They are often times arranged horizontal (though there are cases where they are arranged vertically too). These are called Distribution Feeders.

The Four or Five conductors arranged vertically are usually referred to as Low Tension Lines or "LV Lines" and they are the ones that carry 415V between two phases and 220V between phase and Neutral.
EducationRe: How To Identify Different High Tension Powerlines by CrystalMax: 11:00am On Mar 22, 2019
Thanks for sharing!
But we don't use all these voltage levels in Nigeria.
Can you help us with the ones we use in Nigeria too, please? (0.415KV, 11KV, 33KV others seem to be in your earlier post)

I need no introduction if I meet any of the Pboiz, ruff rugged n raw, Azadus, recober and the Njamah family e.t.c.
When Kennis signed Tuface the others were not carried along and they had issues with it, though Blackface thought since he was the engine of Pboiz it wont affect him but like I said, the music industry in Naija have many hidden stuffs going on and those secret factors determine how successful an artist will be.
Davido is not as talented as solid Star but check the statistics, forget Davidos father's money. Davido knows one of the secret keys that clicks the current trend of mainstream. The keys expire with time and you need some luck, allot of hard work and most times artists go spiritual to renew it.
Tubaba single handedly carried allot of people especially Festac guys to America and other countries when he was hot internationaly, the white woman who directed ole video has been and is still married to one of our friend based on connection via tuface.
Tuface DJ was under DJ Dred of nature sound in festac and his brother is now based in America so do not be deceived, black face is bitter because his face is not on same level with tuface but at same time, I stand with him on this case because it is hightime for royalty and writing rights to be taken seriously in Nigeria.

Blackface, the man with a black mind.

He allows jealousy and extreme envy to ruin his own life.

He didn't know 2face can go far in life. He released his own first singles before 2face went solo. 2face featured him in Face-to-face (2face's first album), but he still sued 2face for using African Queen which they composed together before going solo.

He released his own version of Afican Queen but no one listened to the song, I was even surprised when I saw African Queen Blackface's version online.

He does not know that it is God that blesses without adding sorrow. Just as 2 face says in Face-to-face 'who God has blessed, no man can curse'

Numbers 23:8, Balam told King Balak, 'How can I curse whom God has blessed?'
God bless you for been apt with your conclusion jare my brother. I like people like you who don't make sentimental judgements based on what some people say.
CelebritiesRe: Blackface Gives Condition To End Fight With 2face by CrystalMax: 8:56am On Mar 21, 2019
goldcoinhub:
The feud between former band members Blackface and 2face recently took a new dimension after the former claimed the latter is gay. But Blackface has given a condition to end fight with 2face in a new interview.

In an chat with The Pulse, Blackface expressed his frustrations over the lingering feud and court case between him and the African Queen singer

”They should also ask what is 2face after too? What is his game plan? What is his plan with Efe Omorogbe his manager, or do you think they don’t have any plan?

I have given them my conditions. See ‘Let Somebody Love You’ is my song, I told them my conditions that the manager must take his name out.”

Efe Omorogbe had been listed as a co-composer of the song, which was the lead singer in 2face's 2014 Album The Ascension, a situation that has not gone down well with Blackface who insists that it is a plot to cut down the percentage he is supposed to earn from the song’s royalties.

‘I wrote the song before he became 2face’s manager, so how will a song I have written before he became the manager and you people want to render the song and he did not tell me about it.

How does that seem to the world? They are just paying people to write rubbish about me, that is what they have been doing all their career.”

He then went further to say:

‘There is always a silent killer now, so he is the silent killer in this matter, he is silent and he is the one doing the damage in the matter. You guys need to give them the real state of the matter because the thing is going crazy and we are fighting this because of the entertainment industry.”

Blackface also said that he is sad that he is being perceived as the bad guy in the story:

‘What I am fighting for now is not just for myself, what I am fighting for is for the future of the Nigerian music industry where people like Efe Omorogbe will not just come from nowhere and put themselves in an artist catalog that they wrote the song.Who does that?

It has to stop. And the only reason they can do that type of thing is that they feel they have the media to back them up.

So tell the world what those people have done, not for people to be asking what does Blackface really want? What have they done that they are hiding? That are the questions that should be asked,” he concluded.

https://lailasnews.com/blackface-gives-condition-to-end-fight-with-2face/
I think this man is just bitter for some reasons he's not saying.

"African Queen" and "Let somebody Love you" were co-written by Blackface and 2baba. He never said 2baba didn't contribute to the writing of these songs. I wonder why Nigerians don't research through things like this before carrying incorrect/incomplete news about. So will Rudeboy sue Mr. P for performing the songs they both wrote as Psquare? I bet, NO!

He's actually been having issues with Efe Omorogbe per say and not just 2face but there's no way he'd drag Efe without calling out 2baba's name.
Going by the bolded, I have a feeling he earn royalties from these songs, he most likely just want more.

If 2baba comes out to tell you all about the help he has offered this man, same Nigerians will call him a proud man because I don't want to believe this man haven't enjoyed from 2baba's success. They both know what their problem(s) jare.

RomanceRe: She Broke Up With Me And Told Me I Am Destined To Be Poor by CrystalMax:
Kalashnikov382:
Hello Nairalanders, My girlfriend of two years broke up with me. She broke up with me because of my financial situation right now.

I have been struggling for like 5 months now then she started acting weird and calling me names. The whole thing started when a guy I don't know bought her an iPhone last month. She lied she got it herself which I know is not true. We fought, argued then she went on to block me on WhatsApp.

After begging her for a month she later unblocked me and started posting pictures of different guys with love emoticons. Then she started asking for money everyday. I told her I would give her if I see her in person that I haven't even set my eyes on her for like 2 months.

She has has been avoiding me but asking me for money. Then Started saying She knew I would never gets out of this broke-ness. She told me I am addicted to brokeness that I can never make it in life. The same girl I pay part of her third year school fee, I paid her final year school when their school payment portal was almost closed, I sold my expensive iPhone and some other gadgets for a very shameful price. I once did everything any guy would do for a girlfriend. I used to spoil her with everything when I have money. I've bought her phone twice, Take care of her school bills time to time. Use my things to loan money to send money to her. I did some stupid things just to satisfy this girl.

After everything she told me I did nothing for her that I am addicted to poverty that they told her I'm destined to be poor. She text all sorts of terrible things and insulted my parents that's when I slammed her with some crazy text back (My parents? No No I won't take that shi.t).

This girl I lose my everything just to make her happy. Worst of it is that I am at the most toughest time of my life now. Last week I lose almost a million, I am still healing from that. Her words are affecting me mentally. I adore this girl because she was once a nice and good girl any guy would want to date in fact to be honest, she is the most beautiful girl I've ever meet all my life.

She believes her beauty can get her anything. Please Nairalanders how can I forget this girl and her words totally. Those words are really affecting me mentally, I am losing hope. Please how can I erase everything from my head. I'm frustrated and depressed
First of all, I commend you for sharing this burden! You did well, very well by not bottling it all up.

The truth is, you might not be able to just format her instantly from your head right now, however, it is very possible to overcome this pain.

1. Archive her chats and messages in your email for posterity reference and then delete her from all your social media platforms, delete her number, pictures and everything about her.
2. Take a break, go on a short vacation. Leave that your current location temporarily (if possible).
3. Give your time to a new/old purpose (learn how to play a musical instrument or learn a new language (e.g download an app called "duolingo" and use it to learn any language of your choice) or engage in any new legitimate thing. It will help you redirect your mind and give you focus for better things.
4. Talk to people that you think can help. Don't bottle your pains and regrets, talk to good people. You sound like a good person, you should have some of your kind around you. Please talk it out.
5. Don't rush into any other relationship for now.
6. I recommend a book for you to read; it's titled "Forgetting Your Past" by Bob Gass. Read that book with open mind.
7. Learn from your mistakes; Never give your all to people with questionable character + Loyalty is very expensive, don't invest it where you won't get dividends.
8. Forgive her but NEVER give her a place in your heart again.
9. Believe me, YOU WILL BE RICHER if you work hard doing legitimate business. You need to know that she's wrong with her assumption that you are addicted to brokenness.

I wish you healing bro.
Some people (Guys&Ladies alike) are just so heartless. pELe
