The pressure on the road and subsequent failure to carry out maintenance and repairs on failed portions contributed to its present rot.

Lest I forget, it's not d whole expressway that has failed, mainly from Abulegba down to Toll gate is bad.

@Henry22, there is no lockdown here. To me, lockdown is something I have been practicing for many years now.

I hardly mingle or go out because most Nigerians are untrustworthy. Too evil for my liking. Though, I do go out sha or travel, but that is if it's worth it.

I find peace and joy being alone 98% of the time.

So, it's not about lockdown. Even if Corona stops today, I'll still be indoors and enjoying my life because I don't have a job and I'll never have a job. I prefer creating them for those who love jobs while I enjoy my time.

Okay. Still not clear on the route. Idumota all tru to where? Is it to Oyingbo, Yaba and back?

If so from Idumota to Oyingbo is N100, Oyingbo to Yaba is N100. So the driver makes N700 for the first stop and another N700 to Yaba summing it to N1400.

He will probably take an hour to load and complete one trip (Yaba). If he works 12 hrs a day, he can make 8 complete trips (allowance given for low passengers periods and other unexpected contingencies)

8 multiply by N1400 gives you N11,200. Less Fuel purchase of N3k a day leaves you with 8k.

In a week that's 56k, in a month N224,000.

If based on agreement, you decide to give the driver and conductor a 50% of profit, that would leave you with about a 100k every month.

This is d LEAST you must collect. That's if the routes I earlier mentioned is in consonance with yours.

I just bought my Mini bus aka korope, I have put it in a good shape to start work. Everything cost me 1.1m my question is how much can I give it out on hire purchase, how much should be paid weekly( pls note the vehicle will be plying lagos island road it's a very busy market area so I know there will always be work for the driver)

Any other tips to guide me through this whole thing will be highly appreciated.

I'm currently in my father's house/family house.

The other flat was given to my aunt when her husband couldn't meet up with d 800k rent in Lagos.

I will be stupid to go and rent a place inside Lagos considering how expensive rent is in Lagos.

My friend recently got a place at Itire in Surulere for 400k, when I went to see him I couldn't believe my eyes, the place looks like what you rent for 50k in Jos.

This Lagos is too expensive. Stay in your family house and plan yourself, any woman who can't settle down with me here should go and build her own house or perhaps find another guy.

Next thing on my mind is starting a big biz, maybe buying a car and saving for my unborn kids future, rent is out of it completely for now.

The heavy type especially squats/deadlifts has been proven to drive your testosterone up. Go check it up. Or try some thigh quaking squats. The type that leaves you almost unable to walk. Let's see the drama on the 3rd day onwards.

I do more of jogging, long distance races and short distance races. Sometimes, I cap it up with some sit ups.

Indeed, i went to some emotional and psychological depths i didnt think i was capable of.

Just to comment on @csrockefeller's reaction, its totally understandable. I went through that phase as well - blaming myself, wishing there were things i could have done differently. However, just as you mentioned, it was not acrimonious. A couple of weeks before her passing, she had requested for me to help buy some things for her personal use, to which i obliged. We were quite cordial, and i would seriously doubt the depression angle but then i don't know everything.

Sometimes i superstituosly think the separation/divorce prepared me for this - although i know its my mind trying to fill mental gaps. Divorce is never a good thing, but sometimes its a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea.

All in all, life is really about choices.

Sorry about my outburst. Hearing of her death really pained me.
