RomanceRe: How Do You Know You've Found The Right Person. by CsRockefeller(m): 9:34am On Jun 13, 2020
yanabasee1:
There's no right person for anyone.....

People just get attached to the people they have feelings for and build a relationship with..

Waiting for the right person is a delusional sort of planning.....
Same belief as mine. I believe there is nothing like the right person. One could fall in love with a thousand persons who possess same desired attribute it characteristics.

What we do as individuals is to pick one out of this many. The success or failure of this union depends on the two people involved.

I don't know what term I can classify this school of thought but I came to notice it during my sojourn of looking for admission all around Nigeria that there is no best school except the one that admitted you in and your success depends on your input while holding other factors constant.

Maybe I will create a thread on this and my findings sometime.

Glory to God. This thread had just awakened my spirit man and the need to seek God's face in some challenges I'm currently facing.

The first time I fasted was in 2011 when I was seriously looking for admission, a friend encouraged me to fast and 3 days into it BOOM!! I got admitted into Yabatech.

God is faithful even when we aren't but we need to press harder to take some things of the kingdom by force.

God bless you all.

You can stay alone my dear, my advice to you is to live in place with lots of flats so even If you stay alone in your place you still have people you can interact with plus there's safety in numbers, you can share a flat with a few other people, preferably females....., don't, I repeat don't let people especially guys know you live alone. Don't make an habit of entertaining male friends at home and avoid going to guys homes. When I was much younger, I schooled away from my parents , I shared a self contain with a friend during and after service I shared a 3 bed room apartment with 2 other ladies. Having flatmates saved me from tricky situations with guys at least twice. So there's safty in numbers like I earlier said. You'll have the time of your life and be independent too, before you shackle yourself to any man in the name of marriage
Your closing statement wasn't called for.

Interesting discussion and beautiful/educative comments.

As an Economist, I won't say Devaluation is the solution, neither will I say high population growth is the problem. You see in Economics, when trying to solve economic problems, many variables play a part in linearity. For instance:

EG= a+b+c+d+e..... +z.

Where EG is Economic Growth, the alphabets represent your Devaluation, interest rates, Taxes, Government expenditure, savings, population growth and so on.

It's not a one variable fixed, fix all. Every variable affecting the economy has to be looked into simultaneously. That was why I think in his wisdom, Dr Goodluck Jonathan appointed Dr Ngozi as not just the Minister of Finance but also the Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

But as Nigerian, I will tell you that Nigeria's problem as summarised by Dr Chinua Achebe is simply LEADERSHIP.

As my mentor Obj will say "we have too many think tank in Nigeria, what we now need is the do tank"

Yea it does!

It is why men may marry very intellectually smart wives when they are poor but once successful they will step down to women with average IQ but who know how to make a man feel masculine and strong d these men will refuse to let side chic go.

Reason : intellect never made a peniis hard.

Men have two brains and once successful the dominant brain is the peniiss.

Dont believe me : just observe your surroundings

Starter wives are used for ladders and trophy wives are pampered.

Starter wives are intellectual and know how to help a man succeed and trophy wives know how to make a man beg (does not mean she is daft but she does not lead with intellect when with a man - she leads with femininty)

A woman should aspire to be both.

Intellectual for herself

Sexy for her man
Our first meeting on this site was mixed with gbas gbos on a particular thread with my alternate, but, I must confess, you just blew my mind with your observation.

As CsRockefeller wrote, let's try to help OP fix this marriage and not break it.

There are too many unanswered questions on this topic.

No one in their right mind would ever ask a married woman to divorce her husband just because the husband was caught with pictures of other ladies.
People would always try to reconcile the couple first ... mediation would take place ...and so on.

Divorce isn't an easy process given that it has far reaching implications. We don't even know if any child is involved here.
As in eh Bro, d details are too sketchy for people to be shouting divorce!! divorce!! all over the place.

I didn’t have to go far to find the answer imbedded within your own posts only a month ago on another thread were a guy was suspicious of his wife possibly cheating on him. So I guess we will use your own words as advice to the OP

In this first post, someone suggested the wife might be lacking attention or feeling insecure in the relationship. Here’s your response. See how you think it’s trash to make excuses for a cheating party? Apply the same energy.

I’m also happy you think commitment is sacrosanct. Does this only apply to ladies?

https://www.nairaland.com/5818482/could-wife-cheating-me-advice/1
My dear (permit me ma'am) smiley thats a different scenario with this. On that thread, the lady I quoted was giving excuses for his wife, especially talking about "her lacking attention"

I never adviced d man to do away with his wife.

This man has done wrong here no doubt, no excuses, she should withhold the money but divorce shouldn't be on the cards for now without trying to hear from the man. You can see that this is a woman that really loves her husband and is shocked at her findings, meaning he isn't or wasn't like this from the start.

Let's try to fix not break.

The comparisons you guys use most times doesnt make sense at all, but I'll bite;

There are women who were caught stealing that were burnt to death same as men, Google it,
The exceptions do not make the rule.

There are men who were also stripped and flogged becos of stealing, same as women.
That's also an exception.

So, in the aspect of marriage, you cannot tell me that it is better for men to cheat than women becos the consequences for women is dire,
that is misleading and falsehood,
It's not falsehood if it's the truth backed up with facts. You know these facts don't you?

there are wives that cheated who were forgiven by their husbands and still enjoying their marriage till today, and there are cheating men who were divorced becos of cheating,
Another example of an exception to the general rule.

do you think all women will die if they are divorced or don't answer "Mrs"?
To divorce or not to is anyone's perogative. Mrs. Clinton didn't divorce her husband but went on to become a Senator and a candidate for the US presidency. We know the gender that suffers most when there is a divorce. To the women in Ajegunle, Makoko, Baga, even Nyanya, what choice do they have? Can they survive economically if they were separated?

O yes Op can divorce the disgusting cheat if its suits her, and giving the diick hopper the seven figure money to revive his business is encouraging him to spread his fallus all over town, hopping his life and energy away we all know he wouldn't use it for his business, some men are stupid like that.
Finally, we both agree that he shouldn't be given the money (at least for now).

FamilyRe: Gifting A Cheating Husband? by CsRockefeller(m): 5:54pm On Jun 06, 2020
Fountainofyouth:
I wonder what you'd say if it was the wife that is cheating.....
The earlier we recognize that penalties issued out to either gender based on public opinion most times are never the same.

A man who is caught stealing would probably be burnt and beaten to death, a woman would probably be stripped and flogged.

The consequences for societal ills for each gender has never been same since the creation of man.
