Celebrities › Re: Hushpuppi Blasts Deji Adeyanju For Saying EFCC Should Investigate Him by CSTR1003: 5:46pm On May 16, 2018 |
MrMystrO: I usually don't support this guy but he's damn right about The mentality of Nigerians. As a Nigerian, I can testify that many other Nigerians don't like to see their fellow Nigerians become TOO successful. That mentality is inherent in mostly poor Nigerians and that's why most people who were once poor but eventually became rich are secretly despised by people who knew them when they were poor and before you know they automatically start cooking up stories to accuse you of Ritual, robbery, yahoo and other illegal stuff. This is not because they are just being cautious(which a few people genuinely are) But 97% of the time it's mostly because you were poor like them but now you're no longer on their level and this automatically fills their heart With HATE. HATE is usually the motivating factor for this Common Nigerian Mentality. Very Very bad. No sane country will allow the likes of hushpuppi keep spending without finding out the source of his income. You can't spend recklessly as a hustler in North America or western Europe without consequences. You will be investigated by every relevant agency in the land. That is why the likes of hushpuppi and mompha do their business in far flung Asia with much less government oversight compared to saner climes. It is not bad belle. It is common sense. |

5thElement: In the 70s/80s Nigeria assembled Peugeot cars. Applauding the assemblying of buses 30years after shows lack of willingness to grow and signifies no progress.
This project I'm lauding will be the first for Nigeria. It shows initiative. It's not where Nigeria should be, but it shows someone somewhere is thinking.
If you don't understand that then I'm sorry I can't dumb it further than that. You'll have to try your luck elsewhere. Cars are assembled even till today. From the biggest brands of BMW, Toyota to the smallest brands out there. The only difference between the 80s and now is the sophistication of both the assembling process and the assembled cars. And there is no way you can tell me that BMW Toyota and Co or even innoson are not innovative because they assemble vehicles. In fact, the innovation in this set up is not up to 50% of what goes into car assembly. It is brilliant idea, but it is a set up that is more suited to the car assembly companies because they already have the infrastructure to produce it sustainably . You are a tribalist though, I understand. What you probably don't know that is the manufacturer is most likely an Igbo-owned company in collaboration with a Chinese firm. Or maybe your interest here is because it is in Lagos and not in the East. |

Angelfrost: You should stop being lazy, and do better research. As a medical professional, I can authoritatively tell you that in the last 10 yrs, there have been far more girls born than boys. As today, for every male child born, there are at least 2-3 females. The crisis in most parts of Middle East, Asia, Northern Nigerian, etc, has further underscored this blatantly obvious Fact!!! No need to argue, in a decade the chicken will come home to roost! Just pray thy daughters get lucky. Especially in war zones, men become scarce commodities because many of them have been killed. That was why Burundi made polygamy compulsory. |

kunleweb: If the reverse were the case where a muslim was the VP, would the VP sit down and tolerate what Osinbade is swallowing? Make no mistake, Osinbanjo is the product of failed spiritual fatherism. Two, Leah Shuabu isn't a Christian girl, but a system, a faith held captive by another that deems itself superior, i expected Osinbajo's pseudo-intellectualism to have understood this. But no, when a sheep tags along with a dog, it eats feaces
I prefer to die than be where Osinbajo is and keep mute. May God kill me if i act as cowardly as he is in a position of power and see my Christian brother and sisters been killed and them dance upon their blood. Product of failed Spiritual Fatherism that only produces weaklings and half-baked Christians. Buratai wants the state government to remove the anti grazing law. Just imagine. No atom of shame or fear. These bigoted monsters in government have no respect for the people. They just don't care. We can't do anything. |

SLIDEwaxie:

You don't knw anything, I know. But the worst part is when u, like your poepke think you know all.
Let's see:
The VP should put on clothes and go to Jerusalem to represent Nigeria
Oh, let's see another one:
He should call a pic his phone and order the IG to move up north.. since he's the Commander in Chief of armed forces
Oh, let's see more of your stupidity by calling my people a coward:
I am sure it's awolowo that ran to the then ivory coast when the shit hit the fans
Infact, after asking for war recently, it was Osinbajo, not the pig, Kanu, that abandoned his people and ran away
Lol...
Shall we see more of your idiocy? You are a complete joke. What happened to calling out the president to publicly to pressure him into taking real actions? What happened to publicly putting pressure on the military? You think osibanjo's comfort and loyalty to the president is more important than the thousands of lives lost? Does the situation of things not warrant a radical response? You are dumb, and you don't have anyone to tell you. You are beneath me. God forbid, I ever support any candidate you support . |

Even if the president is incompetent, and the Senate hasn't voted him out, how does the VP step up?
You are sore losing Igbo boy You are a lint . So he has to be the president to step up? .Do you know what stepping up means? Atiku even with his selfish interests was able to step up during his time as VP to thwart OBJ third term arrangement. Your osibanjo is just a coward, like the vast percentage of his people. A yes -man whose likes should not be seen at the highest echelons of power. |

Abagworo: Somehow true. I'm a businessman and I've dealt with every group in Nigeria and arrived at the conclusion that Northerners especially Fulani are the most honest. And why haven't that reflected in governance? Who has been more Corrupt than the fulanis in the Nigerian govt? Or are those a different species of fulanis. |

Duties of the VP is to override that of the president, right?
If he would not be delegated to do something, he must do it by his own powers abi?
Asking why he's not at Jerusalem is a new low for you, I swear. That's where I knew your skull is filled with crude oil.
US even went ahead to approve sale of jets to Nigeria after they voted against Jerusalem being the capital of Israel. So, why worry abt what US may do and might not do?
Ogbeni, just like fayose, you can only impress your illiterate groups o jare. Your sense is zero When the president is incompetent, it is the job of the vice to step up. His highest allegiance is not to the president, but to the Nigerian people. Of course, you wouldn't know anything about that, ass licking Yoruba man. |

Harjibode: They are well known for that, even the petty trader on the street and the Okada riders on our highway, They are just known for that, except you have a different opinion. Yet the greatest plunderers of our Commonwealth are northerners. Northerners are honest, yet the most pervasive political corruption happens there which has resulted in their terrible standard of living. If northerners are honest, they should be enjoying the highest standard of living in this country, and we should be seeing it reflect in national governance. You people just make empty assumptions based on one or two abokiis you met. |

SternProphet: One big problem with Arab countries that Nigeria does not make, buying a system is not buying a capability. You buy an air defense system, you train your men for all eventuality, you develop threat scenarios for what you probably have not thought of before , you do exercises , you adapt based on what you observed during exercises and then you have capability. Nigeria does not make? This guy is funny. |

I was just listening to eko FM and the consensus was that this govt believes recovering funds is their only job.
The per capital income of Nigerians have dropped from over $3000 in 2014 to just above $2000.
Over 10 million people have lost their jobs, with Nigeria overtaking India as the highest number of poor citizens of earth in just 3 years. They borrow in an unprecedented scale never seen in our democratic history and yet buhari and his hordes still complain that oil is not at the exact price Jonathan enjoyed.
I try to be sympathetic to this govt. To try to mirror the mind of an average buhari fanatic, but it seems impossible. The incompetence or at best the terribly limited nature of this administration just keeps doing my head in. |
