The region compete favourably with other regions, in most human development indices from healthcare, education, poverty rate, female education, e. t. c.
Everything the south east has was built from their own sweat right from scratch.
They had to slowly and painfully build their own way to economic and political relevance once again.

If that state of Nigeria is what you envisage till 2023, that is your cup of tea.

And that is assuming the APC does not collapse into pieces along the way.
