robosky02:
Jaja Anucha Ndubuisi Wachuku no doubt is one of the few great statesmen to have come out from Nigeria ( I don't think we have any now we can call a statesman)
He has done much for Nigerian, and Africa , and the world at large. This man need to be honoured more in Nigeria and South Africa.

His only funny moment was when he was see sleeping in United Nations meeting
He was.not sleeping.

The real story I learnt was that he was mimicking sleeping because somebody was giving a very unfavourable speech( I have forgotten it) about an issue.

The UN is a place for a lot of dramatics.
Politics › Re: 2023: Northern Youths Beg Umahi To Contest For Presidency (Photos) by CSTRR: 5:43pm On Feb 07, 2021
The problem with Umahi is that he is more pro northern than even the average northerner.

He will work, but he will not correct the fundamental issues bordering on fiscal federalism and the backward northern advantage.

If the north ever needed a candidate from the South that will not rock the boat too much, it is Umahi.
And I am sure they know it.

I can bet Buhari's left yansh, this crowd are Igboz residing in the North.
You think buhari will choose osibanjo or tinubu over Umahi if he had to choose?
Or you think northerners like tinubu so much.

You must be highly deluded.

Umahi decamped for a reason, we will see in 2023.
Politics › Re: 2023: Northern Youths Beg Umahi To Contest For Presidency (Photos) by CSTRR: 5:35pm On Feb 07, 2021
He is more palatable to the north than tinubu and co.

The problem is that igbo people did not follow him to the APC.
Christianity Etc › Re: Top 10 Nigerian Pentecostal Churches With The Best Choir/Music Department by CSTRR: 1:40pm On Feb 07, 2021
The best choir should be a choir that has compartmentalised specialties working together.

A choir that has a guitar choir sub-sections, Piano choir-sub-sections, Violin choir sub-sections, and other musical sub-sections working together like a orchestra.

Only MFM, DEEPER LIFE, the apostolic church, and I think maybe RCCG(but i am not sure) has that.

Christ Embassy should be No 1....

Thy have produced world class gospel singers
How many of them have passed the london school exams for music?

MFM does that for their top choristers.

A choir is a collection. Not an individual.

Does not necessarily make them sound the best. A branch can be way ahead of headquarter especially in Church business.

Moreover I'm not supporting the OP in his nonsense because for me no church have the best choir. Just choose what suits you.

Even the Salvation ministry and OPM the OP put there is no where close to Believers Assembly for me, but that's my taste.
Most of the churches on his list are not the best choirs. I agree.
He just put the list of the churches that are very active socially.

I disagree with you that branches are better than HQ.
The HQ are often more funded and has a wider pool of musical talents and structure to choose from.

Jesus told the parable of a servant who owed a very rich man a debt and was forgiven.

The servant then went to another poorer servant that was owing him and then put him in jail for debt.

The rich man heard it and was furious. He asked the servant to be arrested amd then asked him this.

Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.
Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’

Matt 18:32-33

This is exactly what Christ would ask that fake pastor.
He forgives us much, yet we can't forgive something so little.

They won Lagos, not Nigeria. Sometimes you guys think Nigeria is just Lagos.
Most of the churches on that list have their headquarters in lagos.
Family › Re: I Finally Took My Children For DNA Test by CSTRR: 10:42am On Feb 07, 2021
dontjuststop:
Hello Nairalanders,

I have been having some doubts about my children which I stated in my earlier post but I couldn't summon the courage to do it.

My wife kept giving me reasons to suspect her so I had to man up and take the test secretly. I took the test and samples were submitted few days ago but the doctor said it will take 7 to 10 working days for the results to come back.

Ever since I took the test, I haven't been myself. Am so restless and anxiety is killing me while I keep praying the results comes out favourable as I know it could mark the end of my marriage if there is a bastard among the children.

Men in the house: Can you share your experiences conducting DNA on your children and what was the out come. My hear beat is so loud right no. This is the moment of truth. So help me God.

Update:
While I was at the DNA clinic waiting for my samples to be taken. I saw a couple who came for a different type of DNA test. The lady is two months pregnant while the guy wants to know if the pregnancy is his before assuming responsibility of the baby.

He was charged a million naira for the test and was told to come back for results in two weeks time. I wish I knew this was possible as it would save me from what am currently passing through. Aside the cost implication, I will advise every man to take their pregnant partner for test before assuming responsibility for any pregnancy. I just learnt something new!

Note:
I will update this thread once the result comes in the next few days. I hope I'll be a happy man afterwards.
Which test centre did you use?
What is the address?

If his VP takes over or one of those crooks supporting him, I would give up on this country.

A vice president that went to silicon valley but did not allow silicon valley to go through him.

I will keep saying this regardless of anybody's opinion.
Peter Obi is the only known politician now with the right blend of 21st century exposure, intelligence and integrity.

If they don't want Peter Obi, they should go for a complete unknown outside politics, because I can't see anybody in politics right now with the requisite sense and integrity apart from Peter Obi.

There are prominent Nigerians on Twitter asking tech start ups to move to Rwanda.
We need to be careful.

Yes, we are angry, but we need to be patriotic.

Buhari and his failed govt will not be there forever.

Let us think about the future of this country and exercise a bit of restraint.

Hopefully, a drastically different individual will take over in 2023.
Business › Re: CBN New Policy On Cryptocurrency: What You Should Know by CSTRR: 10:15pm On Feb 05, 2021
The only thing remaining is for Ghana to capitalise massively, possibly even Kenya.

They should create a permanent residency pathway in their country for Nigerian tech heads.

They should also make it easy for Nigerians to get bank account.

Any of these two countries that does this have stolen Nigeria's future.

And buhari gave it to them on a platter.

I just pray for the sake of Nigeria, they are not smart enough to use this for their benefit.

But I hear the Ghanian govt is about to set up their own crypto currency.

Only a matter of time.

Buhari has done serious harm to Nigeria that will take a miracle to correct.

The Nigerian army removed themselves from the Lagos Judicial panel set up by the organ of the law.

You don't need anybody to tell you that their commander-in-chief is well aware of that insolence and disrespect to Democratic tenets and justice.

Buhari supporters are still claiming that buhari is the greatest democratic president in the history of the world.
