Yes it’s applicable to married people. It’s basically an affidavit which will be done by either your mum or dad (if they are both late then an older person in your family) stating that before you got married on (date of your marriage) you were not married to any1 before. The person swearing the affidavit will also attach their passport picture to the document

Is the b part applicable to married people? I'm wondering how someone who is married can still be declaring spinsterhood/bachelorhood 🤔

You will pay for lawyer verification fee which is about 150k and ofcourse the lawyer will visit you for verification after your interview but u won't have to pay visa fee coz u r married to a citizen.

Visa delivered: January 12, 2022.

I can't speak Deutch neither did i have a language proficiency cert.

I didn't change my passport from my maiden name.

I wasn't asked to bring more documents or replace any.

After the much awaiting time, I am finally here with a testimony, I got my visa, the journey was not an easy one, I noticed German embassy don’t keep to their own side of the requirements sometimes, I was made to pay for visa fee and of course verification fee which I guess was compulsory in most cases, but they have an A1 language certificate exception if your spouse is a German, but even after submitting the first one that got expired, I was forced to get a new one, some persons were lucky to take the test ones and pass it, in my case, I had my first attempt in South Africa, second attempt in Lagos, then the lockdown hit in and institutions in Nigeria was closed, I was given a deadline to submit a new one, that made me travel to Istanbul, Turkey to take another test, this time, I gave it my all by forsaking my business in Nigeria. Sent them the result but I guess they doubted it, because they asked I send them an entry and exit stamps to Turkey, I did all that, before they asked for my passport and insurance. Submitted that on Monday the 3rd of May, with a note that I would like to pick up my passport since I have a return flight to Istanbul, these people ignored that request and sent my documents to Edo state, I had a supposed flight to catch on Friday the 14th but I missed it because I was looking for my passport, finally got a call in the evening for passport delivery, paid quite a large sum for it to be sent via flight to Lagos for me, but it did not make it to Lagos until the 15th of May.
But in all these, I give God thanks for his grace to believe he had the best plans for me.

Then it’s fine. You can go to the Alausa office with a copy of your birth certificate. If you had not registered for NIN before and the error is from BVN registration then you won’t need to pay the 15k. Goodluck

To the best of my knowledge you can’t. If you are in Lagos you need to go to the NIMC office At Alausa to rectify it. If the error is via BVN and the age difference isn’t much, maybe about 1-2 years then you need to go with a copy of your birth certificate. If it’s up to 5 years or so then you need to bring 2 date of birth proof. Anyone else can confirm this though. Goodluck

He actually fits into 1123. I just think he needs to rephrase his JD to align accordingly.Experiential marketing agencies are specialists who create experiences for brands/organization, publicize activities/events and manage execution end to end.

That NOC 1123(Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations) covers 3 distinct job functions so it is not possible that all the JD on CIC NOC is covered on his reference letter.

Experiential marketing is part of the entire marketing ecosystem, he just needs to work around it.

@Curious you may want to Google Account Manager JDs and see which ones you can add/subtract to your letter then compare it with some of CIC's. You can then share it here.

Are you a ...specialist in advertising, marketing and public relations who analyses, develops and implements communication and promotion strategies and information programs, who analyses advertising needs and develops appropriate advertising and marketing plans, publicizes activities and events, and maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations...? If yes, then ok, but if that is not your overall job experience, please look elsewhere. Your JD seems to be more of a business development consultancy than a PR or advertising type of thing. I may be wrong though, but na my opinion.

You fall under NOC 1123......note Senior account manager is not a managerial role, it' s a Senior Executive role. Account Manager here means you act as a liaison between your agency and the client and not in supervisory capacity. Usually the hierarchy in Agencies follows this order: assistant executive, Executive, senior executive, assistant manager, manager etc in that order.

1123 is majorly for people on the agency side of the marketing/communications industry while 0124 is a mix of both.

Under 1123 you will find your category(event marketing specialists) but this is not categorized under 0124..

I am so gutted to read this.If you have money I think you can contact a reputable immigration firm/lawyer. The LP Group on
Youtube should suffice-they claim to help people with similar cases as yours.

P.S:Cases of rejection due to wrong choice of NOC is giving cause for concerns. I think we all owe it to our selves to help people review their NOC Code and ultimately confirm it where we possess such skill. One cannot afford to come this far and get a rejection letter, it's shattering to say the least.The mental, physical, emotional, financial burden is exhausting.

Newmum has done her 'bestest', we can't over burden her with every NOC requests as she graples with her new reality.(God bless her soul by the way).

As much as we have people who volunteer to help people with IELTS issues, we should also have for NOC.

I am volunteering to help people whose NOC falls under 1123/0124(Marketing,Advertising and Public Relations).

If you have special skills in deciphering NOC in your field I think you should reach out to these people when they post their NOC for review.

And to all newbie out there ensure you review your NOC before submitting your application.
