You don’t need marriage certificate to travel with your baby. The birth certificate and a letter of consent from your baby’s father should suffice.

Your only option is to withdraw your application and you’ll get your passport within a week or so. Just know that you will lose your application fees.

Build your travel history, don’t stay in those countries for too long (Maybe 8 days max). First travel to Dubai, then South Africa, then Turkey or Morocco. It’s good to have other visa stickers in your passport before applying. Remember SA also denied visa well but if you have a good job/business and enough money in your account, you will get it.
Also try to be building your account.
Honestly, this UK visa depends on your complete profile and an individual. But at least start from those countries first.

Hope it’s not that they have stopped working on our applications completely. They’ve been shouting about backlog since. They better use these 3 weeks to clear their backlog because it will be very annoying when Nigeria is taken off the red list and they are still delaying applications when they could’ve resolved it within this period.

Hi Nairalanders pls I applied for a student visa (priority services) on the 2nd of December till now no response from TLS. I think on the 20th they’ll lift the ban and allow people quarantine in their homes or something. You see that £2400 no be me and them go pay am, I’ll rather use it to pay for priority and the thing that make me pay for priority won’t make me pay their quarantine money, Awon ole.

Before you decide to dash the UK your hard earned £2,400 go and watch @Djjaramix on tiktok! He’s documenting his experience in the quarantine hotel. He strongly advices you spend your 10 days and money in another country that is not on the red list.
It’s really not worth giving these people your money. When they see Africans are smart and coming in through Dubai & Turkey, they will lift the ban. Patronising them is just making things worse. Imagine paying £240 per night! That money will pay for a 5 star hotel in Turkey and you will still have change sef.

Go and watch YouTube and see how people are treated like prisoners in those hotels. The food is disgusting and there’s security everywhere. It’s even worse for black people. The racism is really evident. Once again, SPEND THAT £2,400 IN ANOTHER COUNTRY!!!

Not Skype name o. I called the UKVI number gan gan. If you have a Microsoft subscription, you get 60 minutes of free calls worldwide. I would’ve used my normal number but MTN wasn’t going through.

There are people trying to reunite with their families, resume school or begin their careers. So, getting into the Uk ASAP is very important to them. Although, I still think it's better to spend that time and money chilling in a more deserving country instead of being locked up in a hotel/prison with their rubbish food for 10 days. There's no harm in explaining it in your cover letter. Any issue you feel may be questionable, just address it in a cover letter.

My monthly income take home is 550k and monthly disposable is 100k, but yesterday I bought a car of 1.5m for my wife from my salary account. Now I'm worried if that would be a red flag for me although the description on the alert indicating that car gift for me wife.

I'm thinking I should write a cover letter and supporting it with car receipt , car ownership and car allocation to prove? Because the 1.5m will be reflecting on my monthly disposable income of December.
