What of the large unknown credits in your bank account? That's usually a problem for them. verygudbadguy: |
But they clearly wrote it in your refusal letter that you can appeal ![]() Just make the required changes as @leef had advised Muyizie: |
So sorry about this @Gentlesoul3268. I have a question though. Is 1.9 million naira sufficient for a trip of 4 people? Also, how long werethey meant to stay? Also, did you add your account statement? Because, how sure is the ECO that the 1.5 million you sent to your wife isn't everything you had? He/she needs to be convinced of your financial standing as a sponsor. This includes your account statement, your payslips and details about the your source of income. The ECO needs to be assured that her husband is very comfortable financially. Also, apart from the monthly deposit, did your wife provide payslips from her company? Did she include a letter of introduction from her employer? To be honest, I would advice that instead of your wife travelling with all 3 children (which may look suspicious. As if she wants to run away). Why not travel with maybe just the first child and return. When applying with the first child, she will make mention of how she still has her 2 youngest children in Nigeria e.t.c (make the stay not longer than 2 weeks). Then the next time, she will reapply for a 2 year visa (because she is now trusted by the UK after having returned while on a 6 month visa) and when she's reapplying, she can decide to go on vacation with the youngest 2 children and leave the first born in Nigeria. I remember when I was very young and my dad who had been visiting the U.S for many years took all 4 of us for their visa interview. We were denied straight! Most times, the visa officers think that a parent wants to travel with all their children and never return (and let's be honest, this is usually the case with a lot of people). Building trust with these countries requires patience. Your family needs to gradually create a travel history with them. I had to learn this through my own family's story. Gentlesoul3268: |
Salut tout le monde!!! It's been a long time that i've been on this thread. The wait for FSW draws has been really frustrating and it's also very discouraging that I've been in the pool since 2019 and in June 2021, I finally achieved 506 score thanks to French. In year 2023, my French exam will expire and we still don't know if there will be an FSW draw before then. I haven't even gotten PNP because my score is "too high". The worst part is that IRCC just released a statement saying that they don't plan on doing FSW draws anytime soon and that the processing time for PPR is now about 36 months!!! I can't waste 3 more years of my life waiting for them. So, I've decided to take the school route. I will apply to schools in Canada and hopefully, I can get admission for September 2022 resumption. Although, I don't regret learning French & writing TCF because this is a skill that I will have forever & ever. It's just a very depressing situation. I wish everyone learning French good luck but if you can take the school route after writing TEF or TCF, please consider it because the IRCC backlog seems endless. |
Amen ooo! Thanks sis Christabeliciou: |
I think you're on a visa and not on a permit. You are required to leave before the expiration of your visa. My grandma (rest her soul) had a dependent uk visa like that. She was a dependent of my uncle. DhammiBB: |
This is a gamble seeing that UKVI already has your previous business information. It may look dubious if they decide to do a little bit of digging. Insights from other group members are welcome. Sus4: |
Hello @7031646386. I have gone through the recent replies and I believe that @giselle237 & @AmeliaT have both given enough scrutiny of your application based on the refusal letter. Kindly take note of these. You can reapply once your circumstances change. You should also visit other countries like South Africa, Dubai & Turkey before reapplying to the UK. This will further solidify your financial standing with the ECO |
I called UKVI today. The said that my application is awaiting a decision. I asked the guy what that means and he said it means that my application is being reviewed and they are going through the evidences in order to make a decision. I wonder how long this review will take ![]() |
There are so many points to address in this refusal letter. I'll come back to it once I close from work 7031646386: |
I'm so sorry about this tosino0000: |
Hi Touyin, did your husband provide his bank statements and payslip to support you as the sponsor? Including a letter of sponsorship. Honestly, a budget of GBP1,500 (depending on the number of days you plan to stay there) is okay but the ECO is now comparing that to your monthly salary. Although, people who earn 150k are still given visas. Especially since your husband can be the full sponsor of the trip. Also, there are unexplained deposits in your account. The source of these deposits could've been explained in a cover letter. touyin: |
It depends on the reason for the approval. Some issues can be addressed immediately while some will require waiting over 6 months. You can post a screenshot of the refusal mail so that we can assist. beautyuche: |
So sorry about this Touyin touyin: |
Ah!!! I'm losing hope o Tamitee: |
Today makes it 41 working days for me |
If you don't open a business bank account and you resubmit even when your application is top notch, the ECO will use that as the next reason to deny you. They are always looking for the smallest reason to deny us. The best thing to do is to give them NO REASON. You need to put them in a tight corner when you reapply. Sus4: |
That was over 10 years ago. A lot of rules have changed since then. Sus4: |
Huge congratulations to you!!! Sykia: |
First of all, you have to resolve the issue with the registration of your business with CAC. They mentioned that on the CAC website, your business status is "inactive". Many people in the past have been denied based on this. Secondly, remember that huge sums of money entering your account right before your submission is always a red flag. It doesn't look genuine. The ECO even mentioned that you weren't receiving these payments for the first 5 months of your bank statement but you suddenly started receiving it. Does this mean that the business you were doing was never practiced in those 5 months? Also, did you show solid proof to the ECO about your claims of being a musician? Also, the ECO believes that for someone who is married with 3 children, you need enough funds to travel and also take care of your family even after your trip. So basically; 1. You need to solve the issue of your business status on the CAC website. 2. Before your next submission, open a business bank account and start running it for the next 6 months. You should also start paying yourself monthly salary from the business account to your normal salary/personal account (pay the same amount to yourself on the exact day of each month). Remember, based on several refusal letters we've seen on this thread, the ECOs believe that having a business account doesn't prove that you have access to the money. That is why you should pay yourself salary. As far as they’re concerned, the money in that personal account is the only money you have access to. Let the salary be reasonable sha. Not that the business earns 500k monthly and you will now be paying yourself 400k monthly. What else is left for the business?? Don't forget to add receipts and invoices from sales and transactions you've done. 3. Clean up your personal account and make sure that there are no large/unexplainable deposits in the account (apart from the salary you pay yourself). 4. Don't reapply before 6 months time so that you can ensure that your personal and business bank accounts are bullet proof from beginning to the end. 5. Before you submit, make sure you come back to this thread for advice from everyone. Ask all the questions you need Sus4: |
I think he means his visa expired 2 years ago. So he's now an illegal immigrant. If i'm wrong please let the OP clarify this for us. Gentlesoul3268: |
Someone that did Dec 30th recently got a decision. Some people have been waiting for a decision since October. I’ve been waiting since November 17th. There are different timelines here. ToyosiR: |
Yes, hotel for 7 days will obviously require less funds than hotel for 2 weeks Gentlesoul3268: |
In fact, she should put 7-8 days sef. In order to reduce the money needed. AmeliaT: |
That was quick! Also, kindly share the refusal letter so that we can all join heads to analyse it and give as much insight as we can. So sorry for this refusal. I know this feeling too well beautyuche: |
Good morning. Yes Mikhaa23: |
Register your business, open a business bank account and start running it for the next 6 months. Also try to keep your salary account as clean as possible. No random large deposits from people. If not, you will have to explain the sources of those funds to the ECO. Let all unexplainable deposits go through your business account. In addition, try to have sales invoices/receipt of sales. You don’t have to show all…just some as extra documentation. akin2310: |
Congratulations!!!! Olawales93: |
Childhood pictures taken together even up to adulthood. Also, it might be advisable for your sister to visit other countries before reapplying to the uk. Cycloe: |
