It doesn't take a genius to know that when IRCC conducts large draws like these, they have something up their sleeve. jasperonyx: |
She can do it. She and her husband should go to Alberta. I have a friend that did the same thing. She planned to stay in Toronto and landed in Alberta because of her pregnancy. She landed in the middle of covid lockdown, so you can imagine how tough things were. Later, she and her husband decided to remain in Alberta because they fell in love with the province. They have a house they bought now, and life is going great. As long as she has a supportive partner, she can do it. Many people move to countries where they don't know anyone. The whole process of adding another baby could take up to an extra year. You can't trust Canada and their timelines. Let her go and give birth to her Canadian citizen and enjoy free healthcare and benefits. Also, she won't be giving birth 5 days after landing. She said she would be 30 weeks pregnant so there would be enough time for them to settle down and plan. Venom104: |
I really wish you were patient. Let's just pray there will be more draws like this. saskatoonguy: |
It's a post-graduate degree now. This question is funny Harmony63: |
I saw it o! Thank you & Amen!!! I wanted to post here also because this thread used to be my 2nd house ![]() Hopefully, others taking the french route will remain inspired. aurorae1: |
Thank you! I'm glad to have inspired others to try TCF. Your good news is coming too ![]() aurorae1: |
Your highest degree (post-graduate) Femi005: |
Yes, happy to help as much as I can. ClassicJohn: |
I wrote 2nd IELTS because the first one expired after 2 years of waiting in the pool. There were no FSW draws so that's why I didn't get ITA. Awesomemama: |
Okay, I'll send now Gsilk: |
PPR/COPR ALERT!!! (Sorry I'm a bit late)Timeline below: Decided that Nigeria was not for me: May 2019 *1st IELTS: August 2019 (I got good scores but didn’t have Masters/extra certificate, so my CRS score was 432 I was hoping to get PNP, but I never got a nomination) *CRS Score from year 2019 to 2021 = 432 *TCF French exam written: May 2021 *TCF French exam passed: June 2021 *New CRS Score in June 2021 = 500 *1st IELTS expired in August 2021, so I rewrote it in July 2021 *2nd IELTS passed July 2021 (with higher scores than last time) *New CRS Score in 2021 = 506 *September 2022: Moved to the UK for Masters. Original plan was to do the Msc in Canada after becoming a PR but 1 year Master’s compared to 2 years in Canada is better for me. *ITA received: 28th September 2022 *Medicals done in London: November 2022 *Submission & AOR: 25th November 2022 *Biometrics in London: 22nd December 2022 *PPR letter received: March 1st 2023 *Passport received by London VFS: March 7th *Passport/COPR received: March 15th Extra Notes: I am single and in my late 20s, so I never had issues with losing marks since 2019 when I started the journey. It’s funny how whenever I tell people my CRS score they think that I was lucky to have had a high score but they forget that I was in the pool for 3 whole years before getting ITA. My EE profile expired 3 times. This journey is not for the faint-hearted but by the Grace of God, with your hard work and resilience. You will also give your testimony too!!! ![]() |

It has to be WES Canada. They won't accept the USA evaluation. Portlouis: |
Transcript & Certificate. It's your school that will handle it, not you. WES won't accept the documents from you. Portlouis: |
You can't create a profile without writing IELTS and getting your certificate verified by WES Canada. Please read Page 1 of this thread. Portlouis: |
I just got PPR. I'll be leaving the UK after my Masters. babajeje123: |
You are not alone. Many people are leaving the UK for Canada. You can't compare sponsorship visa to permanent residency babajeje123: |
Hello, my PPR letter also didn't come with the height and eye colour chart, but luckily, my sister sent a screenshot of the one from her letter so that's what I printed. You can use the one I just attached. It's generic and not specific to a person Miide2:

Hmmm okay thank you bigmills: |
I really pray this will be my story. Congratulations! ![]() Bilingualism: |
I plan on doing so o. I'm just waiting to receive the COPR in my hand. Just know that my journey has been very long and I got my points through french exam. Miide2: |
Thank you...I really hope it doesn't pass four weeks. Teetom04: |
I am so worried right now. I presently live in England and did my Canada biometrics in London. I just submitted my passport to VFS for my COPR, but I was unaware of the extremely long wait time to receive the visa stamp until last night when I decided to check this forum, and I saw that people who used the London VFS/IRCC office were complaining that it took 4 -10 weeks to receive their passports compared to the Accra office |
Congrats to all who were invited |
Definitely! You can ask dduchess90: |
Thanks! I was able to get a flight to London next weekend for 1.3M bola01234: |
Anyway, please who knows if DHL delivers passport during the weekend? |
Everyone, please be very vigilant especially if you have gotten a decision but it's taking longer than usual to get your passport back. I know they will tell you to wait 10 working days after getting decision before you will get your passport but THAT IS NOT NORMAL! We all know it doesn't take that long to get your passport back. People that get a decision on the 13th working day usually get collection mail on the 15th working day. Today made it 10 working days after decision/brp letter and I hadn't gotten my passport. I called British High Commission Abuja customer care and the staff that took my details called my mobile line later that night and was demanding 50k before he could track my passport for me. I did my bio since the first week of August so, the past 8 weeks have been from one battle to another. Luckily, my friend told me yesterday that she had a family friend in BHC so I quickly gave her my details. The feedback I got was that my passport had basically been abandoned! UKVI didn't even bother to inform BHC to print my visa. It was my friend's family friend that sent an email to UKVI and they finally approved it that same yesterday. My visa was printed and was dispatched by DHL today!!! Due to their negligence, I have already missed a lot in school and I will still miss classes of next week and a bit of upper week because one-way flight tickets for this coming week are showing 2M and above. All I'm saying is that be vigilant! It's not normal for our passports to just be sitting in BHC office collecting dust. Infact, if it's taking longer than 3 days after decision, start sending emails and blasting them with calls. BHC o, UKVI o, all of them are incompetent!!! |
Finally!!! ITA received after starting this journey in 2019!!! After learning french, writing TCF and having to wait almost 1.5 years even after passing the french exam!!! Thank you Jesus!!! ![]() |

Abuja wants to frustrate me o! I did my bio on August 4th, and got BRP letter stating that my visa was granted about 10 days ago. Till now, I haven't gotten movement back to VAC talk more of DHL dispatch message. I'm not even in Abuja to go and hustle for my passport. We are already entering the 2nd week of resumption. Only God knows whether they've forgotten my passport as they have been doing for some people. This whole thing has really frustrated me wallahi. I've lost all joy about this relocation process. |
Lol. I'm August 4th still waiting Jojonala: |

never been frustrated this way in my entire life.
