I've noticed that a lot of times, when you reapply just like that, they will look for another reason to deny. Your sister needs to sit down and patiently go through her application thoroughly without leaving any stone unturned. A cover letter is also advised. Also, If we can get your sister's profile (travel history, salary, monthly spending, savings amount, properties, marital status) that will also help. Oma6090: 1 Like |

Did you submit the passport you used to travel in 2012? If the passport and stamp isn't there, then it's a problem. Your application is vetted based on the information you provide. These people are looking for every little reason to deny someone. You can take the risk and hope but it's a gamble. motunrayoo: |

You have a good travel history. Go and register your business. I'm sure you have some deposits in your account that are more than 88k. You can't tell them that it's from a business when you can't prove it with registration. So, register the business, open a business account and start running it for the next few months. You should also start paying yourself monthly salary from the business account to your normal salary account (pay the same amount to yourself on the exact day of each month). This will show that you have multiple streams of income. Remember, based on several refusal letters we've seen on this thread, the ECOs believe that having a business account doesn't prove that you have access to the money. That is why you should pay yourself salary. Also try to keep your salary account as clean as possible. No random large deposits from people. Let that one go through your business account. In addition, try to have sales invoices/receipt of sales. You need as much proof as possible because let's be honest, 88k salary job is not a strong tie to Nigeria. I was once denied when I was even earning about 350k with several work bonuses in millions. Also, are you married? Do you have children? That can also support our application donbabe2000: |

Yes, and that is why I changed my biometric date and pushed it forward by 2 weeks! So that the crypto deposits of over N5million will not reflect in my bank statement! Maybe your case is different but remember that crypto funding in Nigeria is no longer done through banks. It is now done through P2P and even the CBN is clamping down on people using P2P. Over the last month, CBN has been closing bank accounts of people who deal with crypto. No crypto related transaction is supposed to go through our accounts according to the CBN. How do they trace crypto traders? Because of the several LARGE DEPOSITS from different people that go into their accounts. The same large deposits that the UK visa officers are always refusing people for. Whether we like it or not, seeing several deposits from different people into ones bank account will raise questions. Personally, I have separated my crypto account from my regular savings/salary account in order to avoid wahala. Also, you can never know the bias of the ECO that is treating your application and if that person is skeptical towards the legitimacy of the crypto trading. I’m a die hard supporter of crypto but let’s not pretend like there isn’t a worldwide bias against it. Even the UK recently put restrictions on Binance (the No 1 crypto trading app in the world!). Everyone’s case is different but if one can avoid mentioning crypto, it’s best to do so. Unless like your husband, that is his sole source of income. Perhaps, your husband has several ties to Nigeria (properties, his wife & children) or he might have an extensive travel history. Let’s be honest here, crypto trading isn’t a job that will tie someone to Nigeria because people can trade anywhere in the world. It’s very easy for traders to Japa. Once again, CRYPTO TRADING IS NOT A TIE TO NIGERIA. At the end of the day, it’s a 50/50 gamble! ellasdelight: 3 Likes |

Can't believe people's desperation to relocate is making them fall for such obvious scams. A simple google search should help you to know the real process for getting a job and processing your permit for Canada but too many people have been blinded by their desperation. Let's all be careful please. 8 Likes |

Why exactly do you want to apply? What is your purpose for visiting Canada? Do you have wife & children in Nigeria? Do you have landed properties in Nigeria? Also, as a grown person who works, your brother's finances shouldn't be used as proof. In fact, 2 million Naira is not even enough for a proper holiday trip to Canada. Ticket alone will cost you nothing less than 700k. The VO doesn't expect anyone who is going on vacation to use all their savings on that trip. Only people who have no intention of returning do that. Honestly, your application doesn't seem genuine at all. If you really want to go to Canada, join the express entry route or the study route. spongebobsquare: 3 Likes |

Don’t ever mention crypto as a source of income. A lot of countries are very wary of the technology behind it. Also, have you forgotten that it is banned in Nigeria?? You will just be seen as a law breaking citizen. Also, don’t use the same accounts you receive crypto deposits to apply for visa. There is no way to explain those deposits. You should have a dedicated bank account for your crypto transactions and this shouldn’t be mentioned ANYWHERE in your application. jagzmoles: |

Withdraw that application if you want to be on the safe side!!! It’s better to lose your visa fees than to be banned for 10 years!!! Baba19: |

Withdrawal of application is not the same as denial. If there is a question of whether you’ve ever withdrawn an application, indicate it in the form. If not, just address it in your cover letter. Don’t go and say that you’ve been denied visa ooooo Estarbucks: |

Yes, you can get a new passport before the expiration of the current one. Since you’re a managing partner of your parent’s business, you will also need an introduction letter from the company addressed to the BHC. Also, Is the company registered with CAC? How profitable/lucrative is this business? Do you get paid by the company? If yes, I hope the payments are also reflected on your bank statement. Also, the current company you work for, how good is your job & how long have you been working there? Remeber, everything you claim will be scrutinized. toys2seven: |

How do you plan to convince the ECO that when you go and visit your girlfriend, you guys won’t secretly get married in the uk and you won’t remain there illegally while trying to obtain a permit? You need strong evidence and proof. How much do you earn monthly? Do you have properties in your name in Nigeria? What are your ties to Nigeria? How much do you have in savings/investment? First of all, I would suggest you go and renew your passport, then you should travel to at least 2 other countries before making this attempt. Because unless you have a VERY high paying job or landed properties/investments here, it’ll just look like you want to run away. Travel to Dubai, Morocco, Turkey or South Africa. Let your girlfriend meet you there and you guys can enjoy the holiday. You need to build your passport and your credibility. Use this 2022 to build your new passport and move your UK travel plans to 2023 instead. These ECOs are very smart and as far as they are concerned, all first time applicants are potential illegal immigrants unless you can prove them otherwise. toys2seven: |

60k is actually so unrealistic as your monthly expenditure. Also, remember 300k is only about £400!!! Who goes on vacation to spend £400??! Remember this includes flight. When trying to reduce your expenses, also try to be a little bit realistic so that you won’t look like a liar. Lastly, how much did you have in your bank account in total??! Hope the money was there for a longtime. Infact, for someone who earns 400k monthly and spends only 60k out of it, you should have savings of 340k monthly for even more than 6 months. 340k x 12 months of savings should give you nothing less than 4 million. I don’t know but there are some loopholes in your application with regards to finances. Kelebabaj: |

I 100% agree with this. I know someone that was denied U.S visa because she claimed not to be married in her application but the visa officer asked if she has done any ceremony and she said yes, that her bride price has been paid. Then, the VO said that according to Nigerian law, she is married and not single. So basically, it was like she lied. Showing pictures of the event and a letter from the husband should be okay. giselle237: |
