As regards what you wrote up there, i agree with you that there will be some ugly development from the presidency but to say APC will not survive beyond 2015 is another dumb exaggeration because the party has been elected to be the ruling party in Nigeria until 2019 and nothing is gonna change that.

Tinubu will surely hurt himself if he continues to behave like the king of the manor as u rightfully stated and will remain relevant if and only if he tells himself the self truth which is that he is not occupying any elective position at the moment, neither is he the C in C.

Well, just for the sake of those in NL who were either not born yet, or were too young, Dele Momodu has been in the progressive trenches even before the dark days of NADECO. He has been a dogged fighter for the masses during the murderous days of IBB when lives if journalists were not worth 2 pennies. Remember the killing of Dele Giwa, Dele Momodu was writing for Tempo, Concord, etc

He was one of the core NADECO activists who went into exile.

He has been fighting for the masses long before the present day "stomach infrastructure progressives", most of whom actively collaborated with the military to brutalise activists in civil organisations. Many in APC today are basically opportunists who are just going there to collect power. Later, they will regroup somewhere else if they can't hijack the party machinery.

I said so in a previous post. I have observed that Buhari is keeping Osibanjo at arms length. Atiku is the de-facto VP.

The next shock to Tinubu will be the appointment of minsters. Some Tinubu's men will make the list, but they will be assigned inconsequential positions.

They will never be part of Buhari's kitchen cabinet.

After the Buhari victory in the April election, Tinubu's crowd were busy erecting billboards to idolise their god (Tinubu). Meanwhile, Buhari was busy setting up the basic structures of his new government in Abuja. Osibanjo was not part that Buhari inner caucus.

Even simple diplomatic shuttle to South Africa to secure SA support for Akinwumi did not involve Osibanjo. Meaning, GMB does not even consider his VP useful for such boy-boy assignment. I am truly worried for Osibanjo.

Buhari has pointedly ignored his VP, Pastor Yemi Osibanjo during the build-up to the swearing in on 29th May. Osibanjo was either following Fashola or Ambode around to silly inconsequential Lagos State functions in Lagos, while Buhari was holding court in Abuja.

Saraki understands the message, and pointedly ignored the so-called Reconciliation Committee chaired by Osibanjo, set up by Tinubu to rally support for Rep Gbajabiamilla (the ex-felon) and Sen Lawan, saying "a mere Commissioner cannot summon" him. What!!! I thought, Osibanjo was supposed to be the VP?

"I will never recognize such a kangaroo arrangement that produced Bukola as the Senate President. Or how do you want me to recognise a man who deliberately defied his own party because of his personal interest? It is not done anywhere.

I have said as much in an earlier post. VP Osibanjo is being systematically sidelined by Buhari and his inner circle for the simple reason that he is Tinubu's loyalist. The whittling away of Tinubu's influence and clout is gathering steam.

Lateness would have been better. Buhari did not even bother to show up. According to his Media Aide, Femi Adesina on Channels TV, when Buhari heard that election has commenced at National Assembly, he decided not to come.

Buhari is a stickler for time. If wanted to attend the meeting, he would arrived before all of them in his usual military manner.

[size=14pt]Court Approves Re-commencement of Suit Against Tinubu Over Murder of Funsho Williams[/size]

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday granted an application to re-list a suit seeking the prosecution of National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and others over the gruesome murder of late Funsho Williams.

Williams, a former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State was murdered at his residence in Lagos in June 2006.

Trial judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia had earlier struck out the suit which was filed by a former detainee in the Williams’ murder, Bashir Junaid.

The judge had struck out the suit for want of diligent prosecution. But on Monday, the judge granted an application to re-list the suit.

Junaid had gone to court seeking for an order of mandamus to compel the Inspector-General of Police, to re-open investigations into Funsho Williams murder.

Listed as co-defendants in the suit are the Inspector-General of Police, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Sunday Ehindero (former I.G.P & I.P.O. of Funsho Williams’ murder case), Attorney-General of the Federation, Modupe Shasore and the PDP.

Others are Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Muiz Banire, Babatunde Edu, Dele Alake, and Henry Oladele Ajomale.

The matter has been adjourned till September 29.

Please look carefully at those names above in bold. Those are Tinubu's core loyalists. The only two people missing are Lai Mohammed and Pius Akinyelure (Tinubu's co-thief and bossom friend since they met as staff of Exxon Mobil).
