Maxymilliano:How about ex-Gov Goje, now APC senator. Hope you heard what he said on Channels TV outside National Assembly complex after Saraki's election as Senate President. Is Goje also seeking relevance? Ditto ex-gov Yerima of Zamfara and now, APC senator? |
byrron:APC as Tinubu wants it to be will end before 2015 runs out. The APC that we shall seen from next year will have its epicentre at Daura. That is the message. Period!!! If Tinubu cannot see this, then he does not have the street sense and intellect we have so heaped on him. If he is not careful, he might find himself in prison if he does not watch his language. How dare he allude to Atiku/Buhari actions in installing national assembly leadership that will be loyal to the President, and not to Tinubu as "treachery"!! Treachery against who Against Tinubu? Abi?Doesn't he realise there is a huge difference between party leadership and national leadership ![]() The North have collected the power they came for..... The rest is just stories ![]() |
Maxymilliano:Seeking relevance?? Where was Akume, Gbajabiamilla, El-Rufai, Barnabas Gemade, Lawan, etc making noise and crying their eyes today because they cannot get a legislative post in 1984 - 1993? Oh! May be that is going back too far. Where were these people between 1999-2011 when OBJ and YarAdua held sway? Where they progressives? So who is really seeking relevance? I strongly believe that fellow must be Rep Gbaja, who we understand has gone to beg HOR Speaker Dogara |
jantofubu:Does he really need any intro? Well, just for the sake of those in NL who were either not born yet, or were too young, Dele Momodu has been in the progressive trenches even before the dark days of NADECO. He has been a dogged fighter for the masses during the murderous days of IBB when lives if journalists were not worth 2 pennies. Remember the killing of Dele Giwa, Dele Momodu was writing for Tempo, Concord, etc He was one of the core NADECO activists who went into exile. He has been fighting for the masses long before the present day "stomach infrastructure progressives", most of whom actively collaborated with the military to brutalise activists in civil organisations. Many in APC today are basically opportunists who are just going there to collect power. Later, they will regroup somewhere else if they can't hijack the party machinery. Check out these old pics and learn. Thank me later.
|
"The party of many has been hijacked by a few...." (DELE MOMODU) Who are the few?? |
More tweets.....
|
emmyagi:How ![]() |
Today Dele Momodu came out smoking on Tweeter. He directed his barbs at Tinubu and his core layalists in the NADECO tendency in APC. He says members are kicking against : 1. "ENSLAVEMENT", 2. "DOMINATION by a few", 3. "INTIMIDATION", 4. "FRUSTRATION"
|
Now that we hear Diezani is opening up and naming names of those who scammed the nation of billions of dollar in fuel subsidy money. Which of these oil cabal thieves should Buhari sacrifice? They both funded his campaigns heavily.
|
masseratti:Spot on bro!!! Tinubu would have remained a hero, and had tons of respect if he stepped back from trying to control everything after the election was won. Unfortunately, his greedy nature got the better of him. Most APC leaders are becoming irritated by his desire to control everything. Read Dele Momodu's tweet below. He calls it "ENSLAVEMENT", "INTIMIDATION", "DOMINATION", "FRUSTRATE" These are heavy words to use on his leader. And it shows his followers are angry with his style. Now that there is a govt in place, they don't need him again. Is Tinubu getting the message?
|
byrron:It is dumb concoction abi? Don't worry. Even more "dumb" things will emanate from Aso Rock that will make your head spin. APC as we know it today will not survive beyond 2015. At least, not with Tinubu as the King of the Manor. I can tell you this particular "dumb concoction" for free. Tinubu will be relegated to irrelevancy. You can thank me later. |
Then APC folks called Jonathan a ''clueless fisherman'' Now PDP calls Buhari a ''clueless cattle rearer'' Saraki calls VP Osinbajo a ''mere commissioner'' So, from henceforth, while Buhari is a clueless cattle rearer, Osinbajo should be referred to as '' mere commissioner Osinbajo''. APC began giving PDP folks nicknames. Now is pay back time, no? Meanwhile how is Tinubu doing today?quote] What they are calling Buhari now is "Daura President" |
Not even a glass of orange juice to while away the time... Osibanjo: Una no get Chivita mixed juice for dis house ![]()
|
After he finished filling the form, Tinubu and his wife Remi reviewed it. While waiting, Her Imperial Majesty, Remi completely forgot her wifely duty, and did not even offer the man common orange juice. Osibanjo was completely bored, and whiled away the time reading newspaper while Tinubu discussed with Buhari and other APC officials
|
That is actually the picture of Osibanjo taken the day he was summoned by Tinubu to come and fill out and sign his VP nomination form in Tinubu's residence at Bourdillon. He sat in the dining table reading newspaper while waiting for the Form. They did not even allow him to sit in the sofa (settee) in the parlour (living room).
|
It is just the beginning of Buhari's efforts to break free from Tinubu's shackles. I said so in a previous post. I have observed that Buhari is keeping Osibanjo at arms length. Atiku is the de-facto VP. The next shock to Tinubu will be the appointment of minsters. Some Tinubu's men will make the list, but they will be assigned inconsequential positions. They will never be part of Buhari's kitchen cabinet. After the Buhari victory in the April election, Tinubu's crowd were busy erecting billboards to idolise their god (Tinubu). Meanwhile, Buhari was busy setting up the basic structures of his new government in Abuja. Osibanjo was not part that Buhari inner caucus. Even simple diplomatic shuttle to South Africa to secure SA support for Akinwumi did not involve Osibanjo. Meaning, GMB does not even consider his VP useful for such boy-boy assignment. I am truly worried for Osibanjo. cuteboy2: |
"I will never recognize such a kangaroo arrangement that produced Bukola as the Senate President. Or how do you want me to recognise a man who deliberately defied his own party because of his personal interest? It is not done anywhere.* BUHARI accepts the new National Assembly leadership, and has congratulated them very quickly. * Tinubu and his loyalists in APC reject them. This is a direct challenge and affront on the President. Whose will shall prevail? *** WE ARE WATCHING IN 3D *** |
nansng:Gbam... I have said as much in an earlier post. VP Osibanjo is being systematically sidelined by Buhari and his inner circle for the simple reason that he is Tinubu's loyalist. The whittling away of Tinubu's influence and clout is gathering steam. *** WE ARE WATCHING IN 3D *** |
For simply making that comparison, "I am not God", betrays Tinubu's mindset that he actually thinks he possesses god-like powers in present scheme of things. He claims, he handpicked Buhari (President), Osibanjo (Vice President), Oyegun (APC Chairman), Ambode (Lagos Governor), etc. He now feels he can also give us no.3 (Senate President) and no.4 (Speaker, HOR) top Nigerian citizens. After this, he will appoint ministers for Buhari. Only one man Haba!!! It is not done!!! Look at VP Osibanjo humbly filling out his VP nomination form on Tinubu's dining table at Tinubu's house, Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi |
Osyfellaini:Yup. This is the kind of change we want. Enough of godfather politics. |
Lol. they said it |
PStacks:You are 100% correct. She hovers in the background and manipulates things. Look at her breathing down Osibanjo's neck when the later was summoned to Tinubu's living room at Bourdillon to come and sign the VP nomination form. In this pic, Tinubu reviews the signed form while Remi also cross-checks. Makes her feel even superior to VP Osibanjo
|
Kachisbarbie:Which religion? Remi is a Christian though married to a muslim husband. Same way Fashola's wife is a Christian and Redeemed member. In any case, Remi has been shaking hands with thousands of men for as long as I can remember. See pic of Remi shaking a man during her visit to London borough of Lambeth, UK
|
rahazaqa:You are swallowing panadol for another man's headache. Is your name Bola Ahmed Tinubu? The person concerned has not denied the report. Until he denies it, the story stands. |
dayo23:"Buhari and Tinubu are Best of Friends" !!!!!! Buhahahahahahahaaaaaaa-a-a-a-a-a ![]() That is the biggest understatement of the millennium!!!!! Why don't we just say they are twin brothers.......they share the same navel!! And they can never betray each other? Is your memory that short. Have you forgotten that Tinubu betrayed Buhari in 2011 by instructing the SW to vote Jonathan instead of Buhari Wake up bro. This is politics. This is about raw power. Tinubu wants it all for himself. Buhari, wants more of it so he can function without too much chains. The National Assembly is the no1 irritant to the President in a Presidential System. GMB needs them on his side. If GMB allows Tinubu's loyalists to control both chambers, then Buhari will be at Tinubu's mercy for the next 8years. *** WE ARE WATCHING IN 3D **** |
For good measure, Rotimi Amaechi did not show up as well. He is part of the coup. |
Silvofitz:Lateness would have been better. Buhari did not even bother to show up. According to his Media Aide, Femi Adesina on Channels TV, when Buhari heard that election has commenced at National Assembly, he decided not to come. Buhari is a stickler for time. If wanted to attend the meeting, he would arrived before all of them in his usual military manner. |
sirugos:It was not stupidity (or maybe it was, wetin concern me). Buhari set them up with the help of Atiku. Can a meeting of that importance take place without Atiku being present? Did Atiku even bother to show up? Shine your eyes man!! You should see the angry reactions of Akume, Remi Tinubu, and Gbaja, on Channels TV at International Conference centre, Abuja when it dawned on them that the meeting was a grand set-up. |
2nd SHOT FIRED! 2nd SHOT FIRED!! 2nd SHOT FIRED!!! Court Approves Re-commencement of Suit Against Tinubu Over Murder of Funsho WilliamsPlease look carefully at those names above in bold. Those are Tinubu's core loyalists. The only two people missing are Lai Mohammed and Pius Akinyelure (Tinubu's co-thief and bossom friend since they met as staff of Exxon Mobil). They are the real target of this resurrected case, to keep their mouth firmly shut. If they make "phim", dem go hear am from the Presido ![]() *** WE ARE WATCHING IN 3D *** |
SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED!! SHOTS FIRED!!! Buhari fired the first salvo today in his determination to break free from Tinubu's shackles. This first real punch is the rank humiliation Buhari handed Tinubu today, when he left him and his motely crowd of APC loyalists at International Conference Centre, Abuja holding an empty barrel. Former VP Atiku is his main man in this enterprise. Fashola is one of the key backroom brains. Amaechi is the Capone. Watch this space, Buhari will not stomach all these turenchi about party supremacy. Eventually, Buhari will hijack the party machinery and push Tinubu aside. Already, Atiku is his right hand man on key diplomatic shuttles such as lobbying for election of Akinwumi Adesina as AfDB President, etc Buhari has pointedly ignored his VP, Pastor Yemi Osibanjo during the build-up to the swearing in on 29th May. Osibanjo was either following Fashola or Ambode around to silly inconsequential Lagos State functions in Lagos, while Buhari was holding court in Abuja. Saraki understands the message, and pointedly ignored the so-called Reconciliation Committee chaired by Osibanjo, set up by Tinubu to rally support for Rep Gbajabiamilla (the ex-felon) and Sen Lawan, saying "a mere Commissioner cannot summon" him. What!!! I thought, Osibanjo was supposed to be the VP? |
kastonkastrol:Totally agree with you. And I say amen to that |
phlemzy:We are trying to guage how well he is managing his personal business. If he is feeding sand to his cows as someone has already suggested in this thread, and not giving them enough water, won't he handle Nigerians with similar strong hand? You just have to feel sorry for those poor cows. See how bony, emaciated and dejected they look. |

Against Tinubu? Abi?
